Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Before I was pregnant, I was adamant I didn't want to know.. but having struggled to accept it's really real, I'm wavering now. DP wants to know. So I'm not sure.

Mrsbluebell17 · 25/04/2017 20:21

Oyster I think we will find out as I am a bit of an organiser and want to know what gender I'm preparing for Grin

Thanks for the guidance on the scans everyone.

JCHatchling · 25/04/2017 20:22

We're going to find out, I really want bro enjoy and cherish these 9 months and thinks it's a special stage to break it up a little bit!

JCHatchling · 25/04/2017 20:23

To, not bro!

Chamonix1 · 25/04/2017 20:26

We aren't finding out. Found out with dd and although she had a name rather than "bump" and felt part of the family sooner I'd like a surprise at the birth this time and so would DH Smile

geologyrocks · 25/04/2017 20:28

Hey all, Can I join:) I'm due on 28th December with baby number 4. I'm only 5 weeks..no symptoms yet!

I've had to tell work due to risk assessment reasons...i feel like no-one is happy for me. That could be paranoia though. I'm only new in the job too :( I feel like leaving the job and going back to my old one. I dont know what to do

geologyrocks · 25/04/2017 20:29

And I won't be finding out either! I found out on my other three and want a surprise!!!

Carlotta82248 · 25/04/2017 20:34

Definitely not peeking here :)

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 25/04/2017 20:44

I'm not sure. I found out with DS and was glad I did, despite not being 100% sure I wanted to know beforehand

All boys DH's side of the family so I reckon this will be a boy too..although I've my names picked already

DS was 10lb 9oz so I have a lot of Jojo Mamen Bebe stuff in ducks and stars that don't even have the label off but are rather unisex - so I hope this one is a tad bit smaller 😂

Bearing that in mind, I won't be buying much this time round - need a new pram as I gave my beloved Bugaboo Buffalo to my cousin who struggled with numerous miscarriages and failed attempts at IVF, when she eventually had her little boy

I need a new Moses basket, think I'll go for Egg pram this time around - and a new baby bag..oh and Ewan the Dream Sheep was invaluable 🙈

MaryShelley1818 · 25/04/2017 20:49

Congratulations on the scans...some lovely piccies there!

I'm having a private scan, NIPT tests and finding out the sex at 10+3 (plus the few days it takes for results).
£399 but worth every single penny if it helps with my anxiety. I paid the £30 deposit and DP is going to pay for the rest x

Carlotta82248 · 25/04/2017 20:51

I don't think I'll have screening prior to the NHS screening, but may change my mind.

mamalovesviolet · 25/04/2017 20:52

We'll be finding out. I see it that it's still a surprise. Just one we find out about earlier!

I was going through all the baby stuff the other day and I realised how much I bought for DD. So. Many. Clothes. A lot is unisex thankfully! There really isn't much we need to get for this baby. Not sure I will be able to restrain myself though!

MontyPants · 25/04/2017 21:04

Definitely finding out the sex! I think I'm having a boy, but I still want to know so we can decide on the name. I'm impressed with anyone who has the patience to wait

TootsyBella84 · 25/04/2017 21:04

bluebell internal scans are okay, I've had 6 in the past year!

We found out the sex with dd and ds although we've moved areas now and our local hospital doesn't disclose the sex so we would have to go private, I think I'm happy to wait but dh is less patient!

Wow Mary I didn't realise you could find out the sex so early!

Welcome geology!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 25/04/2017 21:11

I definitely want to know. I'm hoping for a girl but if it's a boy I'll have some time to get my head around it. I just have no experience with boys and am a bit nervous of the whole willy thing 🙈

mamalovesviolet · 25/04/2017 21:21

Bloody itchy legs at night! Soooo itchy! Anyone else?!

LapinR0se · 25/04/2017 21:27

Yes my legs are horrendously itchy too

ExPresidents · 25/04/2017 21:29

My legs are super itchy too!!

We didn't find out the sex with DC1 and won't with this one either, it was so nice to find out when he was born!

fishfingerSarnies · 25/04/2017 21:37

I'm not finding out this time did for my other two I was so desperate to have a girl both time that I had to know! Now that I already have a boy and a girl I'm not so bothered (though secretly I'd rather have another girl as much as I love my son.) Blush

Mumoftheark · 25/04/2017 21:39

I was super itchy with DS1 my GP said it was something to do with the male hormones not agreeing with the mums. I tore my skin apart.
Convinced I'm having a boy this time and have started to get itchy again

Marie90 · 25/04/2017 21:43

I didn't even know itchy legs at night was a thing?! They were so bad last night but i thought it was because I'd finally shaved them! 🙈

We're definitely finding out! I'm such a planner that I'd need to know asap so I can sort stuff out! I'm in awe of those who have the restraint to wait! In my head it's a boy but you can guarantee that it'll be a girl because of that lol! Be happy with either though tbh! 😍

TheGrumpySquirrel · 25/04/2017 21:52

My back is itchy ALL the time! Is that really a sign of a boy?!

MontyPants · 25/04/2017 22:26

Oh gosh I'm sitting here scratching my legs down to the bone! Didn't realise it was a pregnancy thing. That's it, I'm definitely having a boy 💙

MaryShelley1818 · 25/04/2017 22:48

I've developed eczema on the palms of both hands, scaly skin above breasts AND a flaky scalp.
I'm absolutely convinced I'm having a boy 💙

LapinR0se · 26/04/2017 06:07

I scratched myself to ribbons last time and had a girl!
