@Rodent01 I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm officially 35+2, but I think my dates are a week out, so more like 34. My commute is only 3k each way - just about far enough to make it worth biking rather than walking. I drop DD at school at 8:50am and I'm at my desk by a little bit past 9am.

People really do take the Michael in these situations @Algebraic my old employer broke so many rules and legislations. Proper shocking in this day and age.

I think CAB is definitely a good shout. Let us know how you get on.

They'll be kicking themselves when the next tenant is shit.

Sorry to hear about that Algebraic - hopefully you can get it sorted out. Just the type of stressful situation you don't want to be in right now.

I'm with everyone on the whole fanny daggers, twice they literally stopped me in my tracks today. Feel like embracing the John-Wayne-Duck-Waddle walk which I'm currently fighting might help alleviate them somewhat. Perhaps time to embrace the waddle!

Anyone else find they drop stuff at lot more???

Yes @CatRash I've thrown my phone across the room a dozen times. Quite comedic for all watching. I also bounce off door frames and fall over when reaching to pick stuff up. I've always been a touch clumsy but this is something else!

@Algebraic that's awful of them! Definitely worth going to CAB and hopefully the landlord will get a shitty tenant next!

@CatRash my hands may as well be oiled the amount I drop stuff now! I don't think I was this bad before so gonna link it in with my awful baby brain that also seems to be getting worse as the weeks go on!

I've given up on picking anything up. If I drop it, it dead to me 😂. I think dh has accepted it that he now just clears up after me without saying a word. I even refuse to do the bottom drawer of the dishwasher.

I have just finished preparing the filling for my chicken pies. I will put them into their pastry cases tomorrow after work. I underestimated the amount of chopping leeks, bacon and dicing 8 chicken breasts. I have also diced the onions, rosemary, carrots and celery ready for cooking the shepherds pie filling. Maybe I can do that Saturday morning.

Algebraic your landlord is talking bull. I don't see how a bank can stipulate such a condition. They could have just given you the S21 without giving you an excuse but they have truly shot themselves in the foot. You can still take your time to find a suitable home even if it takes longer than the 2 months in the S21 as long as you continue to pay your rent on time. The eviction process takes such a long time that it should hopefully buy you some time to keep looking for that perfect home. Good luck.

Dh made me laugh earlier. He was wondering when I will start nesting so that I could give the house a deep clean. He normally does all the cleaning and I do laundry and we share the cooking. I don't think I will nest. I hate vacuuming/dusting/moping and generally tidying and I can't imagine any amount of nesting that would get me to clean. I hate it. So dh is on his own on this one. He thinks he has been short changed. Lol.

Lol @Notyetthere my nesting basically just involved paperwork. My dh is the same he's the "tidy" one.

I think I need to get out of denial before I get into nesting. I'm still frantically painting the fitted shelves we've just had built in.

It's my last day at work today! 🎉🎉🎉 hit the 38 week mark today too, got my midwife appointment this morning. It's all so exciting! Feeling like I can really start getting excited now I won't have work to think about.

Luci good luck with your last day. What do you plan on doing with all that free time before baby arrives? I plan to continue with the batch cookong but also take a walk everyday; as far as the spd will allow me.

I still have another week left of work but at least I am working from home for the rest of it. I'll finish at 38wks too.

Yes you're right @Notyetthere. I think if she'd made up an excuse she could have got us out, but now I've got it in writing that the reason is categorically the baby. She's leaving herself wide open to all sorts of legal ramifications by saying that. It's not that I'm worried I'll end up io the street, but more that I wanted to focus on the baby and myself without these stressors. Very tempted if she emails again to just reply with one line saying "are you sure that's legal?" with a link to the Equality Act.

I plan to clean the house, do some cooking like you, go walking, and try and relax a little too! Bounce on my birthing ball!

I need to pop out and get a few supplies like maternity pads etc so will do that and I want to get birthday cards for the next 2 months as well!

my work colleagues sister was told she was having a girl, she was due the day after me but she had a c section last week due to growth issue and had a lovely little 4lb boy!

I did have a bit of a nesting urge at the weekend and went through the house but I seem to have gone back to my messy self this week!

Midwife update...Me and baby all good. Heart rate was 150 something. Head down with back on my right hand side and bum sticking out at the top. I'm 3/5 effaced, whatever that means! Booked in for 40 weeks (my actual due date!) for a sweep! Will be offered another one at 41 weeks if nothing has happened, if still nothing I go in on 5th July for induction!

Luci looks like it is all happening for you. I can't believe we are now at the point where we are discussing inductions abd the like.

Took the toddler swimming this morning and am utterly utterly knackered

@spindelina am 33 weeks tomorrow but I think today will be my last day - I ride a road bike so its quite crouchy forward in positioning and I'm now just finding I knee myself in my stomach too much and as baby is breach still, her head is massively in my lungs and I just can't breathe!!!! I got to 33 weeks with DD1 so pleased with this. I've been leant a parking space at work so Monday for 5 weeks, I'm all drive.......

Well done for getting so far too - its quite a rarity to find another dedicated cyclist!!!!

I did read an article that said the mother's position does effect the baby's position so also hoping that stopping cycling will make this baby turn like my first did!!

@LuciBee231015 if i remember rightly from last time they grade the cervix from 1-5 and say how much of the head is in the cervix. I don't think it has any specific barings on how likely labour is though as I think some don't actually engage until you're in labour. I think my cervix was 2cm but it was still over a week before labour/birth but it's always nice to know things are actually making progress isn't it!! I think it was at my sweep that they told me about my cervix and they booked another at 41+1 but i'd had him the day of my appointment lol

gettin jel of those of you finising for Mat leave. i've another 5 full weeks left and the temptation to bring it forward is strong!!

Midwife weighed me at my last appointment but said the scales were out so she'd "add a bit on" haha. She put that I was 66kilo so I weighed myself this morning and I was 10st 5 which I think is the same (if i worked it out right) so she did pretty good at guessing lol.
Quite impressed i've only gained just over a stone because I gained about 3 stone last time...said this to dh last night and he said "yeah, you were a bit of a porker last time"

I've hit the 2 stone mark now!! 11st 5!

The midwife gas only weighed me once during my entire pregnancy and that was at the beginning, they haven't done it since!!

Midwife hasn't weighed me either since the start luci I have weighed myself though. Was 8st 13lb at about 4weeks pregnant.... now 11stone 9lb! So nearly 3stone on 😳

I'm up two stone now aswell was about half a stone over to start with so probably should have moderated myself. Too late now!

I was about 60kg in November 2015. Then Christmas happened, then I did the first trimester two times (eating to stop myself feeling sick). After miscarriage 2 I was about 75kg. Now about 90kg. So, yeah. Bit of work to do there in a few months' time.

@Rodent01 we don't own a car, so when I give up on the bike it's either walk or taxi. Five years ago I walked to and from the hospital where I work at 41+4 for a sweep, albeit quite slowly! I hear you about kneeing myself in the belly though. I'm keeping my saddle high!
