Soon nice to hear from other people with the same questions as me!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'm waking up at 4:30am on the dot for a wee and not sleeping particularly well. Glad to too hear it's not just me though as wasn't expecting it, I'm normally a notoriously good sleeper! Apart from that I feel fine all day then terrible from 5pm until bed: nausea, tiredness, cranky, want to throw up at the thought of vegetables (a pain as I'm a vegetarian...). Also my boobs are massive already, should i be buying new bras at 7+4, or will they be getting bigger still??

Back to the dates thing. So seems like i should be adding 2 weeks on to my conception date? (Have done that above). So when i have my midwife appointment I'll be 10 weeks. Does that sound right? No scan date yet.

Xx

Aww Tootsy, that's the picture I got today too, super cute 😍

Weasle - please don't worry x I was distraught on Wednesday when I got 2-3 but got my 3+ this morning! HCG levels vary widely, strength of urine also makes a difference xx

MaryShelley1818 · 22/04/2017 09:21

Sushi yes, I think that sounds right!

My boobs are huge and sore...I bought 2 maternity bras from Mothercare last weekend at 5wks pg. Got properly fitted and they've been a godsend!

Lixon · 22/04/2017 09:26

I'm taking a cocktail of stuff with my history after lots of research but this is probably excessive...:
Pregnacare, floradix, vitamin e, vitamin d3, omega fish oil, baby aspirin

Another 5am wakes, managed to drift off at 7 for a bit but still feel rubbish. Dh obviously still snoring!

It's really hard to relax weasle but as others have said, hcg levels vary so much that it's impossible to always get accurate results. Someone posted a really useful chart a few pages back showing the massive range but I helpfully can't remember who..

Gadgetgirl that's exciting re the appointment! Will they refer you for the scan at the appointment? Or is that separate? If they refer you might just want to check how long it usually takes but am sure they'll have no problem squeezing you in (they only have a shortish window to take all the measurements). If you have holidays planned around that time might be worth seeing if it's possible to bring forwards which a few ladies here have done successfully.

Doctor Donna, good luck with the anxiety - know exactly how you feel having had 2x early mcs. But today you are pregnant :) sacking off wedding sounds like a great idea! I have one next week I'm kind of dreading with no alcohol as I won't know anyone and am a bit of an introvert sober!

My skins been rubbish since coming off the pill 2.5 years ago so kind of used to the spots now but they are a bit worse, probably not helped my lack of sleep!

Morning all!

So the mad eating continues... felt too sick for dinner last night but at 9:30 dispensed DP to KFC to get me a fillet burger as had a sudden major craving. He was fearful of being mugged at that time on a fri night but dutifully went off to provide for me (although I think he was secretly delighted as normally I HATE KFC and refuse to eat it whereas he loves it!). Anyway I ate it my desperately wanted fillet burger in bed and it tasted AMAZING!

Paying for it this morning though as have been awake since 4:30 with bellyache Sad.

Need to be more sensible with the old eating today as I'm sure eating crap is making me feel worse... but yet it seems to taste sooo good. Confused

Have a good day all! Smile

Anyone else's dh getting a bit pissed off that they are having to pick up more of the housework, cooking and parenting (if you have other kids)? Mine is, and I can't work out if I am being unreasonably lazy...

Cham I've just got back from my DDs ' swimming lesson too. Threw up just before going so managed in the cafe to sip my mint tea and keep it down, but watching the lesson made me feel seasick Hmm how did you get on?

MaryShelley1818 · 22/04/2017 10:05

Wonderfulstuff...mmmm! I could just eat a KFC!! 😋😋😋

weasledee · 22/04/2017 10:06

Thanks again for everyone's replies. Going to try and put it out of my mind.... :)

Annie1290 · 22/04/2017 10:07

Ooh KFC!! Feeling grotty this morning, like I need about 6 more hrs sleep. Just spent a ridiculous amount in works cafe trying to find something I want to eat! Still no sickness.

Spent most of the night worrying why I couldn't see baby's heartbeat even though she wasn't worried, surely she should have sent me for another in a few weeks to confirm it's there? If I book a private one I've found out its with the same woman so worried she'll think I'm nuts! Argh.

mamalovesviolet · 22/04/2017 10:07

TipTop my DH is shocking with housework and I told him I need more help - his help. He sent me a link to a cleaning firm haha!

Phee123 · 22/04/2017 10:09

Can I join please?😊

mamalovesviolet · 22/04/2017 10:09

My DD was up at 5.58 this morning and for some reason I let my DH sleep for another half an hour! Halo What was I thinking?!

TootsyBella84 · 22/04/2017 10:21

TipTop you're definitely not being unreasonably lazy! It's hard work growing a human. My dh has just took both kids swimming and I've climbed back in bed 🙈

Welcome phee

mamalovesviolet · 22/04/2017 10:26

Welcome Phee! How far along are you? Hope you aren't suffering too much nausea and sickness.

60percentbanana · 22/04/2017 10:27

Tiptop I'm lucky in that respect, we are equal domestically. I'm still sat in bed watching Netflix with two of the kids, and he is downstairs doing the washing and ironing.

His only fault is that he doesn't cook, and he's not much of an organiser. So organising birthdays, holidays, house moves, switching utilities etc is more my thing. I quite enjoy that though

mamalovesviolet · 22/04/2017 10:29

Banana you have one that irons! Halo

Wonderfulstuff · 22/04/2017 10:30

Yep, my DP is trying his best but our house is currently a shit tip (technical term). He does quite a lot of the domestic stuff normally as I work longer hours but even still with one man down our normal routine is struggling. Currently tackling the dishwasher which hasn't been done for 2 days! We have turned into slobs. May change our names to Mr and Mrs Stink soon to be joined by little baby Stink. Grin.

TipTop333 · 22/04/2017 10:32

I think the problem is that we do share everything equally in fact he probably does a little bit more around the house than me normally anyway so now he is taking on the massive bulk. Same with looking after the toddler. Whilst I lie on the sofa and be miserable. I can see his point of view why it would be annoying actually...

Zaberwocky · 22/04/2017 10:56

Ahhhhh DH has really tried bless him. I actually feel a teeny but human today, had a cracker with peanut butter on an hour ago THAT HAS STAYED DOWN Grin so I'm going to attempt a bit of a clean.

Chamonix1 · 22/04/2017 10:57

Angielka
I feel your pain. I sat there for half an hour sipping water and gradually came round.
They bought out samples of porridge with berries on top and smoothies and actually managed to stomach 2 generous sample portions of porridge and a smoothie, first decent thing I've eaten in weeks!
Luckily don't have to watch my daughters lesson and DH got her ready etc after so was a reasonably easy morning!
Just think we'll be doing this with a baby in tow before we know it! Grin

Chamonix1 · 22/04/2017 11:01

Have to say we've managers to keep on top of those but the secret to that is I don't work anymore I'm pretty sure if I did it'd be a total dump by now. I sort of potter and put washing on, away etc and hoover /clean in those short bursts of feeling normal. For those of you working and growing a little human I honestly wouldn't stress about housework, we'll have no chance of cleanliness when we have a newborn about.

Chamonix1 · 22/04/2017 11:01

Managed to keep on top of the house work * fat fingers

GrowFins · 22/04/2017 11:20

Hi there, can i join? I've been lurking but thought I'd get in on the action.

Got bfp on Friday, cbd said 3+ but honestly not sure how far on i am, guessing about 6 ish weeks Hmm I'm thinking I'm probably due around 2nd week in Dec.

Anyhoo it was unexpected, I've just had an operation and had no idea! So a bit worried because of the op / drugs i was pumped with.

We're happy but still bewildered to be honest, this will be our first if all goes to plan.

Got my booking appointment on Tuesday so will go from there!

MaryShelley1818 · 22/04/2017 11:21

I'm very lucky that DP does all the washing and ironing, and now I'm pregnant wants to wrap me up in cotton wool and look after me! I need to not take advantage though as I'll end up really lazy!
