Sounds, like I've come to the right place, then Mary Grin Sorry you've had all the upset of that, too. Such a generally worried time for everyone. I hope you see the nice progression on the digi soon. That said, I do wonder if they're more trouble than they're worth! I'm torn between trying to get a further reading on one in a few days, or just leaving them all alone now...

I am liking all the talk of maternity jeans on here, though. Mine are SO uncomfortable already - the bloat, gah!

Mrsbluebell17 · 21/04/2017 18:10

Zaber I'm another one that would appreciate the jeans/trousers recommendation! I've inboxed you my email address by the way.

Queen and Mary my cb digi is out against my timings too but it has eventually progressed so fingers crossed all is ok for us all. Keep positive. Smile

I'm also treating myself to a pair of rose gold Havaianas flipflops for over the summer - all the memories of swollen feet 😭

Ohmygosh. Craving alert!!!!
I have a McDonald's craving!!!!!

Palendrominca · 21/04/2017 18:20

Hi queen, congratulations! I think it is really difficult not to be anxious in early pregnancy.

I also found that I worry about worrying, so I try to remember that the outcome of the pregnancy will be the same no matter how much or little I worry and that at least removes one level of anxiety.

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 21/04/2017 18:21

Ps. Really good news from my epilepsy nurse today, they say 4-9% of abnormalities.
Can't decide if that's a big risk of abnormalities or not so we're carrying on...
what do we all think here?

Beardy1 · 21/04/2017 18:30

feed I think that's a positive outcome. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm in a similar position as I have an autoimmune marker called anti ro that can cause cogenital heart blocking in the baby from week 16. I'm waiting to see the specialist. It's pretty scary!!

TipTop333 · 21/04/2017 18:32

Eat crystallised ginger, they say.
It will help with nausea, they say.

Whoever 'they' are needs to fuck the fuck off. That was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten.

www.next.co.uk/g502150s1#945838 - I have a couple of pairs from last year. They're amazing. They make you look a big chunky, but they sort of rest on a non irritating part of your stomach. Stretchy and comfty too!

I've just realised my jeans were DP Grin they're quite high waisted too. I'll try to find those!

Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 18:39

AND they're discontinued Angry they were the Eden ones. I was going to order another twenty bloody pairs!

Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 18:40

*Just to confirm I've worn the next ones after two laps where I looked around 6 months gone Grin marvellous things.

Angielka · 21/04/2017 18:41

GrinGrinGrintip-top spot on! Grim stuff. Ginger seems to make me feel worse now I've eaten so much if it.

Congrats to all the promising scans - hope you are all feeling relieved.

Hi to all the newcomers Smile and thanks for all the food talk. We really understand each other on here Grin

Had a day out of the office with 4 colleagues today and told them all. They practically all said they'd guessed because I obviously walk around work like a zombie nowadays. Hmm 8 weeks tomorrow- counting the days until the end of this trimester!

Mrsbluebell17 · 21/04/2017 18:45

Ooooh zaber I've already got some trousers like that from Next from a couple of years ago! Great shout, I hadn't thought to wear them!

Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 18:48

Blue I really would! They were fab when I was all bloated, so I'm hoping for the same this time.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 21/04/2017 18:49

Dinner was a rather uninspiring chicken soup and bread. It was quite nice though. Now I need to see if I can avoid nausea before a nice early night tonight!

Marie90 · 21/04/2017 18:57

Just smashed a pint of strawberry Nesquick! Was genuinely the Best thing i have ever tasted!! 😆

fishfingerSarnies · 21/04/2017 19:19

Chocolate Nesquick and jelly was pretty much all I could stomach with my last pregnancy! Mmmm now I fancy some strawberry nesquick.

Still no symptoms really apart from tiredness. Went for a lovely woodland walk today got back to the car feeling knackered... hadn't even walked 2 miles 😳
Managed a 15 minute bike ride too so clearly staying on top of keeping active ha not!
4 + 5 today and I think my sickness started at 5 weeks last time really hope it stays away this time.
Glad to see lots of positive scans. X

BirdBrain85 · 21/04/2017 19:36

Big welcome and congratulations to all the newcomers! Smile

Really enjoyed reading all the food chat haha.

So I should have kept my mouth shut about not feeling sick! I did a home visit today and the house smelt of smoke, I felt so ill and was stuck in there for an hour. Was meant to go to another visit after but had to confess to the poor student nurse working with me that I'm pregnant and felt vile Blush Sad. She was so lovely about it thank goodness, and after 20mins in the office drinking water and eating some salty crisps I managed to come round. I really thought I was done for to be honest!!

Now sat on a train surrounded by various people and smells, pretty grim to be honest.

Chamonix1 · 21/04/2017 19:47

Evening all and welcome & congratulations to the new comers Smile
Currently sat on the sofa eating rich tea biscuits, spent the day with mum and family today managed not to tell anyone and stomach some jacket potato at lunch. Felt nauseous all day but thank goodness no sick!
Glad to hear that scans have been positive, so far so good guys!
Hope everyone has a sick free semi relaxing weekend!

Chamonix1 · 21/04/2017 19:49

Feedmyface
Fantastic news for you also! The risk doesn't sound much higher than all the usual risks for anyone so that's really good news. I bet you're both so relived. Yay!

SushiNushi · 21/04/2017 21:07

Hello! Can I join?

I'm 5+3, counting from the day i conceived/ovulated. My periods are irregular so i don't go by them. Should i be adding two weeks on? I find it a bit confusing to be honest! Midwife said I'm due 19th December.

First baby, in my early thirties Smile

Lixon · 21/04/2017 21:09

Oh congratulations on your scans Annie and isitwine, so glad things looked ok. I hope you're feeling relieved.

Welcome beautifulliar and queen! Fingers crossed for things going smoothly and try not to put too much weight on those tests, a positive is a positive!

Battenberg, those are good odds considering it's not 0 even without the added issue - keeping everything crossed that things progress smoothly.

Good luck tomorrow with your digi Mary!

Fingers crossed the drugs kick in soon Zabe and you get some serious eating done this weekend!

Sorry you're not feeling better ill isn't Marie, I hope it passes. Taking it easy is definitely the right approach.

My work specifically excludes pregnancy yoga from its appointment policy so jealous on that front..

Lixon · 21/04/2017 21:12

Welcome sushi! It's usually around an additional 2 weeks when you measure from lmp but not sure how it works with irregular cycles/it doesn't sound like the midwife has added 2 weeks for your EDD - did she say what she did?

Mrsbluebell17 · 21/04/2017 21:29

Evening all.

Welcome sushi. I agree with Lixon that it doesn't look like the midwife date is including an extra two weeks.

I'm shattered so just come to bed, but this time I've bought a Tupperware of sourdough crackers with me incase I wake up at silly o'clock again feeling sick. Hopefully all will be ok!

Hope everyone gets a good nights sleepHmm

Marie90 · 21/04/2017 21:37

Welcome sushi, I've got no idea about due dates when you've got irregular periods tbh, but hopefully when you get your 12 week scan it should clear stuff up and give you a better idea of dates!

How are you feeling? Any symptoms so far?
