Congratulations and welcome BeautifulLiar!
I wonder if you'll have a 2017 or 2018 baby?! 😊
Number 1 for me and DP but we'll be 39 and 41 when baby is born so might be our only xx

BeautifulLiar · 21/04/2017 17:08

Hi Mary! I know, my others were born March, May, August and November so I've never had to wonder what year they'd be born in! I always said I'd never have a baby around this time - oops - but I couldn't be happier :) just dreading the Morning sickness as I usually get it VERY badly

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 21/04/2017 17:14

Aww Zaber that's fantastic. Very reassuring. How are you doing anyway?

I could probably lose a stone anyway and be a size 8-10ish but I'm not too fussed atm, just more concerned about the low calories impacting on baby and me. I am so tired, unbelievably exhausted 😴

The Mediterranean rice is lovely..I stick chilli flakes on it though so that probably disguises the taste 😂

Mrsbluebell17 · 21/04/2017 17:14

Thanks zaber. I'll message you my email address.

I've come out in some painful and big spots on my chin in the last 24 hours. Not nice.

In other news I just found out we're in credit on our gas and electric by rather a lot so I've requested a withdrawal! Yay - that can start the savings pot for the bubba!

A week tomorrow until my early private scan. Can't wait - so nervous!

Wine I'm so glad your scan was ok!

Welcome to the newbies.

MaryShelley1818 · 21/04/2017 17:17

A week and 3 days until mine MrsBluebell!!! Eeeeek! I'm so so nervous!

Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 17:22

I'm alright CantHelp just a bit embarrassed more than anything! I think I've put most people in the office by the loo off their lunches for a few days now Blush

Having a bit of a lie down before I brave dinner! How're you doing? Managed to eat much today?

Bluebell ohhhhhhh! Do you want to compare chin spots 😂 ? I found some stretch marks today on my hips! I am most unimpressed. PM me the address whenever 🙂 It was something that helped me and DH plan a while ago, it really helped us put priorities into perspective! And decide on what we thought was a reasonable budget.

TipTop333 · 21/04/2017 17:23

Welcome new joiners! It's weird to think that we're nearing the end of Dec for due dates. I wish I could say time was flying but let's face it - it's early pregnancy which means every day feels like 300 years. Pregnancy is well and truly kicking my arse today, I feel grim.

OP posts:
Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 17:29

Tip Sad what kind of grim? Like nausea/sicky of just achey hungry and fed up?

I keep telling myself we're so nearly out of the first trimester 😂 Well ... me and glasto are!

Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 17:30

Has anyone else been looking at the other antenatal groups to see picture of other users newborns? 😂 I feel so creepy and weird. It's just every single bloody one of them is so cute!

glastogal · 21/04/2017 17:31

Ha - are we? Time is moving so slowly.. 😫😫

Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 17:32

Glasto well ... not really. But we'll be there before everyone else Grin

glastogal · 21/04/2017 17:32

I am absolutely busting out of my jeans.. 😳😳

glastogal · 21/04/2017 17:33

(apologies for showing you all my pants)

Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 17:35

Right you lovely lot. My work are idiots Grin they have a very daft policy about me being able to go and do 'pregnancy related classes, appointments and activities* paid, during work time. So obviously I'm going to take the piss a bit.

I'm thinking lots of antenatal yoga and a spa day. Any other thoughts?

Zaberwocky · 21/04/2017 17:37

Ohhhhh Glasto Grin its exciting!

I can't recommend my next skinny leggings/jean things enough. They accommodate expansion nicely! Are you going to treat yourself to some new jeans?

glastogal · 21/04/2017 17:38

Yoga, aqua classes? If you can get massage out of them then fill your boots!!

glastogal · 21/04/2017 17:40

Are they maternity ones? I was really hoping to get away with my usual threads until after the 12 week scan but that is looking less and less sensible!!

Queen0ffaff · 21/04/2017 17:45

Hello everyone, could I (tentatively) join you all?

This is baby #1 for DH and I, and we've currently got an EDD of 26th Dec. No scans or appointments booked in yet, apparently that happens after a referral from the GP after eight weeks down here.

I got a nice convincing line on an FRER yesterday morning, and backed it up with a 1-2 weeks on a clearblue digi. That 1-2 weeks did make me wonder just a little bit as by my calculations (not charting, just going by usual cycle length) I was 17 dpo (tested fairly late to avoid seeing yet another bfn!), so might have expected to see 2-3 weeks, but I didn't dwell on it. This afternoon, though, the rocks I've been carrying around on my chest for the last ten days suddenly felt suspiciously normal - not sore and not big any more. So, I caved and poas. It was an IC this time, and about 5 pm, so quite different, but should I be worried that the line is there, but really only just? I can't help but feel pretty anxious about it - wishing I'd just stayed away from the tests!

Sorry to jump straight in with the questions. I'm another one who thought the worry might lessen once we finally got a bfp... How naïve was I?!

What are the trousers zaber? I might have missed a previous link. I am desperate for something that fits!

I just feel grim like I have a terrible hangover. The kind where you wonder whether it was worth it 😂

OP posts:
TipTop333 · 21/04/2017 17:49

Hi queen, welcome! I don't think that ic result is worrying in itself, as they generally don't produce as strong results as the other tests. Not knowing what is going on inside is awful, it is so difficult to read symptoms. I have everything crossed for a happy, healthy pregnancy for you

MaryShelley1818 · 21/04/2017 17:52

Great idea for the jeans Glasto!! Lol!
My work is the same Zaber...I quite fancy a swimming class!

MaryShelley1818 · 21/04/2017 17:54

We're all paranoid here Queen!! My weeks indicator on CB digi isn't right either and has led to a huge panic and upset for me this week!
I've taken 10 tests now and have 2 more CB digis to take xx

Queen0ffaff · 21/04/2017 17:59

Ah, thank you - for the welcome and the reassurance Smile. Argh, I know... It really is awful, isn't it? I was doing so well... For a whole 24 hours Grin! Hopefully I've just worried myself unnecessarily by peeing on an IC after a whole day of hydrating, but so hard not to when you have all these doubts and you've got a bag of 30 of the darn things calling from the cupboard... Going to try not to assume the worst (anyone else find you got really used to not getting your hopes up when TTC that it's almost hard to shake that off now?) and just wait and see...

leighdinglady · 21/04/2017 18:00

Good luck in getting your 3+ tomorrow mary

mamalovesviolet · 21/04/2017 18:04

My 18 month nearly gouged out my eye and laughed her head off. I've decided I am not doing bedtime and my DH can do that when he gets home from work. Then he can go and buy my fish and chips for dinner!
