Mid-Late November due dates

I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Morning all, and welcome to those who've just joined.

I had a bit of a rubbish weekend - had a migraine on sat which was awful, and my little girl was poorly yesterday. So I missed all the sunshine as was stuck indoors.

8 weeks today for me! Had a dream about bleeding last night Confused

Hope everyone is doing OK.

pomadas87 · 10/04/2017 10:04

I'm the same buttery - 8 weeks today I think!
Really struggling with hay fever but don't think I can take my usual antihistamines.. does anyone have any suggestions?

NovemberBaby2017 · 10/04/2017 10:17

Just wanted to say thank you that wished me well for my scan on sat. Its neither good or bad news at the moment. They found 6mm sack but they couldn't detect a heartbeat. They said at this stage the bleeding was a very bad sign but only time will tell. They have booked me to go back in two weeks time. So the dreaded wait now. Not sure how to think or feel as they don't give much info really. Im assuming that if i MC then i will notice the difference between that and the bleeding I have had already? Hope all you lovely ladies are still doing ok. Again thanks for your well wishes x

Stuckinstressville · 10/04/2017 10:28

November hand holding as this wait is horrrid!

NovemberBaby2017 · 10/04/2017 10:31

@Stuckinstressville thank you

Sjenner77 · 10/04/2017 11:01

I really feel for you November. Did you have an abdominal scan or vaginal? It can be hard to pick things up wth the abdominal scan at this stage. Two weeks seems an awfully long wait for you. Could you possibly afford a private scan to avoid waiting and worrying?

Sjenner77 · 10/04/2017 11:03

Wow that really does make me feel better thank you! I'm hoping they'll enjoy it eventually :)

NovemberBaby2017 · 10/04/2017 11:26

@Sjenner77 it was vaginal. Yeah we can afford it just not sure what to do really.

Ilikecakes · 10/04/2017 13:56

Thanks to those who asked how I was getting on and big big Flowers to those of you having a hard time. Bleeding has stopped and I feel fine now so I just have everything crossed that all will be well. When I had the ultrasounds, they also dated the preg as far further along than I though, so instead of being 7w3d I was actually 10w3d. No idea how as I'm certain of my dates and definitely had a 'period', but I'm wondering now if that was actually another early bleed instead of an actual period. Anyway, just about to ring the midwife at home (we're still away for another two weeks) to try and rearrange my 12 weeks scans.

Thanks again all Flowers

harrietm87 · 10/04/2017 15:29

Wow ilikecakes what a difference! Did you get to see your baby? What's your new edd? Great news there has been no more bleeding.

Thinking of you too november - what a horrible wait.

I'm still struggling with this runny nose. also sneezing so think it probably is an actual cold. So tired today as well though still no nausea so relieved (and also wee bit worried) about that!

7+2 today, scan on Wednesday morning.

Hopeful25 · 10/04/2017 15:37

Great news cakes xx

stuckinny · 10/04/2017 16:23

Oh November I'm sorry you've been left in limbo. Will definitely be thinking of you.

Ilikecakes what a surprise.

This week cannot go fast enough for me. Work is driving me crazy. DS and I are going away for 6 days next Tuesday and I can't wait.

Hazandduck · 10/04/2017 17:24

I'm sorry november and stuck that you are in limbo it's a horrible place to be :( Thinking of you both. X

Have just booked an early ultrasound for next Friday, now I'm crapping myself over it! Why do we do this to ourselves ladies! X

Bearest17 · 10/04/2017 17:45

Hi all, finally decided to stop lurking and join you properly. Am 7+2 with DC2 due 25th Nov I think.

Feeling really bloated and nauseous and am ridiculously tired all the time. Thankfully on school holidays at the moment so can relax for 1 more week.

Topsyloulou · 10/04/2017 17:58

That's great news Cakes.

Sorry to hear you are still waiting for answers Stuck & November. Being in limbo must be a nightmare. Hope you get answers soon.

I've got an early scan tomorrow at 9+1 because of previous mcs. I barely slept last night fretting about it & imagine tonight will be worse.

FluffyEwok · 10/04/2017 18:14

topsy good luck xx
is anyone having the flu jab? my midwife advised I do so booked in for Thursday

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 10/04/2017 18:37

I'm not sure about the flu jab FluffyEwok, I have my booking appointment tomorrow so I'm going to ask about it then.

I've been given a lovely sample container and I can't work out if I'm better off to fill it in the comfort of my own bathroom or try and get that done in work just before I leave. Does it matter if it's not super fresh?

stuckinny · 10/04/2017 18:55

Good luck Topsy

No flu jab for me. I've never had one and thankfully it's not mandatory at work.

TeaAndPjs · 10/04/2017 18:58

fluffyewok I've already had flu jab, I need to get it because of medication I'm on! It's really helped as everyone around me has had colds/flu and I've had nothing at all

november That sounds hard but I can sympathise with you, i got a scan on 3rd and they think it coylda been too early but preparing myself for the worst, follow up scan isnt till the 20th and the wait is killing me

FluffyEwok · 10/04/2017 19:00

I could have got mine through work but it's too late now Shock I'll go to the practice nurse instead

tmc14 · 10/04/2017 19:09

Evening, my midwife said not to bother with the flu jab as it's now spring... not sure if that's logical or cost savings!!

Good luck for the scan Topsy, I've an early scan (8+4) on Wednesday. Getting quite nervous about it now!

TeaAndPjs · 10/04/2017 20:21

Hope scan goes well Tomor topsy

NoCatsHere · 10/04/2017 20:24

November I'm sorry that is an awful wait. Really thinking of you, and hoping for the best.

I had booking in today which was fine, all basic bloods and urine sample taken. No flu jab offered but I personally wouldn't take it anyway. I broke down when she asked about how I'd like to birth this one, I had such a tough time last time with ds2 being in intensive care afterwards, I hadn't realised how I'd buried it all down. I'm going to birth stories I think to try and talk it through and get it clear in my head. I hadn't realised it would still affect me over 2 years on.

FluffyEwok · 10/04/2017 21:48

mmm don't know whether to bother with flu jab now

Mummyosborne1983 · 10/04/2017 22:34
