Mid-Late November due dates

I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

vitalite I agree with Zampa - prefer a smaller group so like things the way they are! Maybe the facebook group could be for people who want a big one. I'm not on fb so also prefer a mumsnet based group!

Has anyone else been really thirsty?? I've been drinking plenty during the day but the last couple of nights I've woken up at 3am desperate for water!

modelcat · 01/04/2017 04:42

Hi all can I join?

EDD 17th November, have DS 20 months. Currently very worried over lack of symptoms as I had mc before DS at 8 weeks. Got early scan booked next Wednesday.

Anyone else got virtually no symptoms? I get occasional twinges and yesterday my legs ached so badly I felt like I'd run a marathon. I'm waking every morning at 4:30 though which is same as when pregnant with DS and I have a blocked nose - I had rhinitis all the way through my first pregnancy.

modelcat · 01/04/2017 04:44

I was confused by the 2 groups - never seen two groups for a month before. My first group was huge though and hard to follow. Everyone then decamped to Facebook which killed the thread somewhat.

Zampa · 01/04/2017 09:22

Model That happened to my 1st thread, which is why I prefer this smaller one, especially as I'm not on facebook.

Not many symptoms here but like Harriet a bit thirsty. However, that could be due to me not drinking as much because I then need the loo all the time. Not good, I know.

butterybollocks · 01/04/2017 10:35

@stuckinny if it's just carrier testing it won't tell you much really will it? Your partner would still have to be tested and if those tests indicated a risk you'd have the option of having an amnio/cvs before getting any clear answers.

I like the small-ness of this group but don't mind if everyone else would prefer to merge the threads. I want to stay away from fb tho as prefer the anonymity here (the joys of having a really unusual name Hmm)

AGnu · 01/04/2017 12:33

I don't see what's hilarious about thinking a thread saying "early November" was intended for early November people. I thought it was a really good idea to have 2 groups so it didn't get overwhelming. As I explained previously, when I was pg with DS2 we had a small group that covered the end of May/start of June because we moved across from a TTC group. By the time the DC came along there were only 6 regulars still posting but we were really good friends & knew each other really well. I'm finding this group overwhelming as it is!

If the early November group is getting possessive over the month I'm happy to name the next thread something else! Smile

I agree with AGnu, I don't see why it's so funny or tough to understand that the title Early November seemed to be for EDD's in early November? Maybe it originally referred to the fact that the OP and other first posters had gotten their bfp quite early in terms of dpo, but obviously that gets irrelevant very quickly as the thread progresses towards November. I got my bfp a day before af was due, when I searched for November group I only found the one saying Early November, which the 20th is not so I felt like an intruder!

I'm happy with two groups or one group, unlikely to join an fb group just because it's not anonymous posting anymore then.

modelcat · 01/04/2017 13:48

Had scan this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see a baby and a heartbeat. So surprised as I really thought I wasn't going to see anything due to lack of symptoms.

They put me back 3 days so EDD now 20th November

elio · 01/04/2017 15:11

Just to say in the long run I found having a big group helpful. Once everyone has their dating scans due dates are moved around (I got put forward a week but then was overdue anyway). Last time I was due on the 9th of the month, but then watched people due much later have their babies before me, very annoying!! But, mega helpful. I learned so much from people just ahead so when stuff happened to me I knew what it was and was prepared. It also helped a lot knowing what questions to ask and what to expect. All I can suggest is strength in numbers! X

harrietm87 · 01/04/2017 15:51

I agree with agnu and foggy - it's easy to follow both groups/join fb if you prefer a big(ger) group, but some of us like just posting in this one, so we don't need to merge them or talk about it more do we?

Feel like this is derailing the thread from important things like OMG I am still so bloated! (lol). I have an 11 hour flight home tomorrow and then back to work on Monday so preparing to feel pretty crap for next couple of days. How is everyone else?

Foggymist · 01/04/2017 16:41

I feel fine right now, but pretty sh!t earlier! Not nauseous but just not feeling right, putting me off food but then I get starving so can't win.

Zampa · 01/04/2017 16:59

We've had an overflowing drain in the garden, including raw sewage floating on the patio! The whole house reeked! Not sure if my nausea is down to hormones or this! Thankfully sorted now.

mcthubbers · 01/04/2017 17:01

Hi all - hope I can join?

6 weeks today - due 25Nov - hopefully!

I found out last month that I have a uterine septum which hopefully explains the many miscarriages I've had.
I have an early scan on Monday and I am petrified. We've been trying for so long - were just hoping that this time is the one!

The only symptoms are very regular back cramp and a missed period. I would say nausea but I think that's the anxiety.

Hazandduck · 01/04/2017 17:02

Ugh Zampa that sounds awful!
My only symptoms are still sore boobs and tiredness, I do get achy legs and hips as well, but not sure if that is pregnancy related or not. Oh god the 12 week scan just seems a million miles away! I just want it to be now!

Kaydee2017 · 01/04/2017 17:08

Agree with Harriet, foggy & buttery, I prob won't put anything pregnancy related on my fb at all, and also like the MN anonymity Smile

MrsGB2225 · 01/04/2017 17:24

We moved this weekend so all the packing and unpacking has left me exhausted! Late afternoon I always get headaches, I just want to crawl into bed and sleep!

Hazandduck · 01/04/2017 17:36

Welcome mcthub and I'm sorry to hear of your losses. Pregnancy is tough any way, let alone after miscarriage. There are a few of us in the same boat so happy to hand hold if you need it. I've had several meltdowns already this pregnancy convinced it's all over. Here's to sticky beans x

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 01/04/2017 17:38

How is everyone doing? I've felt so nauseous today - DH and I are supposed to be going out to dinner for one of his friends birthdays and I really can't be bothered.
I'm tired, I'm grumpy, I don't like any of the people who will be there (apart from DH) and I wish I had a decent excuse not to go. I've got an hour to plaster a smile on and try and fake some enthusiasm.

butterybollocks · 01/04/2017 17:48

I had proper nausea for the first time today - normally just feel that follow hungry sicky feeling. Bought some Belvoir ginger cordial - very fiery and it really helped.

My symptoms come and go all day so I spend half the time feeling shit and the other half panicking about a mc. Such fun.

Been to visit family today who don't know so had to pretend not to feel grim.

Topsyloulou · 01/04/2017 17:59

I've been lurking for a while but feeling brave enough to join now. My edd is 13th so I'm 7+5 but as DS (2.5) was exactly two weeks late I'm expecting similar this time! I'll add my details to the spreadsheet.

Harriet I did an 11 hour flight last night at the end of a 2 week holiday. The way out was fine, the way back was much harder as my sense of smell is now super strong & triggers my nausea at any time of day. Hopefully your flight will be much smoother. My bloating is horrific today, I always bloat after a flight but added to the pregnancy bloat & im struggling to do my jeans up. Hopefully it goes down before work on Monday.

Symptom wise it's nausea, much worse this time than with DS, sore nipples - there was lots of air con on holiday, it was both a relief & torture in one! Runny nose, tiredness, loss of appetite but also starving at times, lots of weeing & insomnia after the 3am wee. Bring on the 2nd trimester!

TeaAndPjs · 01/04/2017 18:06

zampa I can't update the spreadsheet on my phone and laptop has broke, could you (or anyone whose able) update for me please?

Age 31
12 week scan -15th may
That's all that's missing I think?

Now I need to go catch up on here properly tho hope everyone is doing well

Xx

Zampa · 01/04/2017 18:24

All done Tea. Let me know if you want to put your location.

Good luck with tonight cuppa!

HopingForALittleOne · 01/04/2017 19:38

I'm happy to stay with group - I liked idea of smaller group :)

Urgh last few days have been hard I just feel totally off and nauseous a lot of the time. Just managed to have some tomato soup and now lying down trying to keep still - roll on 2nd trimester :)

Early viability scan next Tuesday :)

Feels nice to come on here and read how others are feeling the same xx

lelygirl · 01/04/2017 19:43

Still haven't heard anything about dates for my booking in etc. Little bit concerned..I think I'm 6+1 but my AF in February was 6 days late and very light/short which was unusual. I'm just concerned that I'm further on than I am and haven't seen anyone. Hmm I contacted the hospital yesterday and they've said I'm on the system but due to a 'post Christmas rush' they can't give me an appointment yet. So frustrating.

HopingForALittleOne · 01/04/2017 21:23

Quick question with bloating and nausea is anyone else struggling to take their pregnacare tablets? I am taking the plus ones so there are two tablets to swallow plus I take additional folic acid as I am overweight.

I'm finding even small dinners hard to eat and leave me bloated and feeling sick so trying to swallow three tablets after main meal with water really hard .

Any tips? Xx
