I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

So gp app today left me feeling annoyed, told her epu said she was to phone while I was there and they'd give her an early scan date there and then! That was clearly too easy as she didn't phone while I was there so will now have to chase up the app

thecrab · 27/03/2017 19:33

Anyone else absolutely shattered all the time? I don't remember being this tired so often and early with my first pregnancy, really hindering my running schedule...

booox · 27/03/2017 19:38

Sorry about that tea. Early pregnancy appts are confusing.

I have my booking on Friday. Really fab mw, wants to get me a scan asap at 12 wks so asprin, thyroxine etc can be sorted out.

I'm up and down tired and ok. Very bad back now.

We found out today we have ofsted tomorrow, I have go in extra (not usually in till weds). At least I can prepare tomorrow afternoon for weds if they're in then too. But truth be told I can't be arsed! Head like sludge! But better now than when I'm like a whale!

DuRezidal · 27/03/2017 19:48

So last night for one wipe only (I'm sure I could make a song) I had bright pink on the tissue. Then absolutely nothing after that, non today and just the usual niggling cramps.

One thing that has changed is I suddenly had very slight nausea. I don't feel actually sick, what I feel is the same as when I am absolutely starving hungry that I feel sick. But I've recently had a snack so shouldn't feel like this. Also a bit light headed.

I have a second early scan booked for Wednesday so I figured there was no real point phoning them as will find out what's going on soon enough.

HopingForALittleOne · 27/03/2017 20:31

Dure I've heard you can have some spotting as long as not red blood so could be that if just one wipe?

Late night nausea started last night and I've got it tonight . I feel absolutely bloated and like I could be sick if I move so I'm lying very still. Also any smells cooked food I can't stand - even to think about!! Yuk even writing that sentence makes me feel queasy.

Hopefully I'll just have it in evening rather than all day! X

theotherendofthesockportal · 27/03/2017 21:29

Today I nearly ripped a bag of crisps out of my bosses hands as I had such a compulsion to eat them. Normally I don't even like crisps!

Zampa · 27/03/2017 21:34

Crab I started feeling exhausted yesterday and think it's more than just the clocks changing. Almost home after a long day in London ... Can't wait for bed!

Rezidal I remember getting a little pink discharge early on with DD1. Fingers crossed for Wednesday

organixeveryday · 27/03/2017 21:49

I have barely any appetite :(
Am buying a second hand donkey tomorrow as wasn't sure about the age gap with just a buggyboard and the Bee3 (25 months) so will see how I go with it

Stuckinstressville · 28/03/2017 09:04

Anxiousness at highest level- had terrible upset tummy and really bad pain and cramps mostly on one side overnight - now my tummy is twice the size it was and I can barely stand straight. Have to work today as important meetings.
Not sure what I can do in reality but it hurts sooo much! Ugh.

AGnu · 28/03/2017 10:26

Stuck have you spoken to anyone medical? Does sound like you need to get checked out if you're in that much pain!

organix I totally thought you meant you were buying an elderly donkey & for a moment wondered what that had to do with age gaps. Now I have a great mental image of someone thinking, "not sure older child will cope with all the walking when I need to push the baby... I know, I'll lead them around on a donkey!" Grin I can totally see someone pushing a buggy with a donkey's lead rope tied to the handle!

butterybollocks · 28/03/2017 10:32

Organix I also thought you were getting a real donkey and was really excited for you.

I'm completely exhausted, I've been off work for a few days and don't really know how I'll cope with being back tomorrow, I have regular travel into London over the coming weeks too.

Foggymist · 28/03/2017 10:38

Stuckinstressville you should call your gp or midwife with those symptoms.

NoCatsHere · 28/03/2017 10:39

Just waiting in the epu. Suddenly getting stupidly nervous. Also worried I'm too early and they won't be able to see anything. It's so nice to be able to tell you lot though, these early days are hard when you can't tell everyone. I haven't even told my parents yet because of the mc last time.

Stuckinstressville · 28/03/2017 10:51

Foggy and agnu have left a call with my
Gp- took paracetamol and it eased. I think the nausea and upset tummy are hormonal- but jeez ! The tube was a bit touch and go ! Settled now at my
Desk and ignoring things!

Oh the joys of early pregnancy!

Stuckinstressville · 28/03/2017 10:52

Nocats hope it goes ok! How far along are you in your calcs? Hand holding CakeBrew

theotherendofthesockportal · 28/03/2017 10:54

Oh my goodness I feel so unwell! I haven't slept properly for 2 nights, although I haven't been sick the nausea is killing me. Any hints and tips to get through this?

I'm hiding in the loo at work to have a little cry

AGnu · 28/03/2017 10:55

I haven't even told my parents about my 2 early miscarriages last summer. I couldn't bring myself to discuss it at the time & then it'd been so long that I thought they'd be hurt I hadn't told them sooner. I'm kind of hoping I never have to tell them now but it wouldn't surprise me at all if someone commented on the 4.5y age gap & I blurted out something about hypothetical people having hypothetical fertility issues that made it obvious that it wasn't really hypothetical!

I'm just generally dreading having to tell my parents. They didn't exactly seem thrilled the first time, but mum was an obstetrics nurse at the time so was overly aware of the risks. With DC2 she said "oh, I thought we were waiting a bit longer... I don't really know what to say..." Hmm They know we were discussing #3 a couple of years ago & that DH was less keen. Their only comment was that DH shouldn't let me talk him into anything. I fully expect her to say something equally annoying this time. Maybe I'll "forget" to tell them... Or send them a scan photo in the post so they have time to think of something nice to say...

I feel so sh!t, toddler awake half the night as usual, which is wearing very, very thin after two years. I'm actually weak with the tiredness, and it's just me and him stuck at home until 7pm Sad Dreading gp appt tomorrow, after pre eclampsia last time I physically and mentally hate and am terrified of blood pressure checks.

AGnu · 28/03/2017 11:01

I'm quite enjoying lemon & ginger tea. It's a bit like drinking magic sherbet that stops me feeling quite so ill. It's awful first thing when I can't stand the smell of it but once I start drinking it does help.

DS2 is currently playing with Lego & seems to be pretending to be a butcher. He wants to bring me some imaginary meat that he's got for making sausages. Just the thought of the smell of raw meat is making me queasy!

theotherendofthesockportal · 28/03/2017 11:08

@AGnu I'm on the ginger and lemon tea too, but that isn't helping me today.

I also keeping going from shivering to sweating. Is this a normal symptom?

GingerHanna · 28/03/2017 11:42

Back at work today after a week off. No focus and no giving a fu*k. Think I will scan off early and do my late calls from home.

First scan tomorrow. Anyone know when they do dating scans? Will this be too early at 6+6?

organixeveryday · 28/03/2017 12:22

Well I bought just a vehicular version of a donkey ! I misread the advert as red when it was in fact hot pink ... never mind, will get some blue fabric !

NoCatsHere · 28/03/2017 14:48

Hi all and thank you for the cake stuck!
All ok, had to have dildo cam as they couldn't see anything over my tummy which panicked me at first, but they found tiny baby and egg sac and measure me at roughly 6 weeks today. Which makes sense, it was exactly 6 weeks ago I stopped bleeding after my mc.
They even found a tiny heartbeat which was incredible. Now I just have to sit tight, it's all beginning ok so I just have to hope it continues. I mc last time just before 7 weeks, so if I can make it to next Tuesday I'll start to feel more relaxed.

kimblesj · 28/03/2017 15:07

Nausea kicking in here too now, think I'm 6 weeks tomorrow? I have booking appointment on Thursday so hopefully get an early scan. Also have super sense of smell, anyone else got this?
The other embarrassing symptom I have is stress incontinence Blush I guess after 5 pregnancies my pelvic floor and bladder is shot to pieces.
It freaks me out as it feels like my waters leaking which is impossible now but is what happened with ds4 and why he ended being still born. I am trying to humour myself that I'm just pissing myself but that in itself is slightly humiliating.

Wombletor · 28/03/2017 15:14

Hello everyone
I'm a bit late to the party, I got a bfp yesterday!
I had a MC last Nov, a DC in 2015 and 6 MCs. I am excited and on edge in equal measures.
Today I got the ball rolling, got an appt at the RM clinic and hcg bloods done today and another for Thursday. My local EPU are amazing as I've been a frequent flyer there over the years.
My only symptoms are absence of period and the horrid metallic taste, plus I'm tired, but frankly I'm always tired!
I hope you're all keeping well, and I look forward to the chst, as nobody will know about this IRL until its safe.
PS cracking up about the donkey!
