Mid-Late November due dates

AGnu · 13/03/2017 16:35

I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

@kimblesj I'm so sensitive to smells some days, I keep giving out about things stinking and nobody else smells them. Hubbys aftershave makes my stomach lurch too Blush

I've cramps and pressure everyday, didn't have this with ds at all. A week until early scan, so far away!

allthecoffee · 28/03/2017 16:40

tiptoes in
Can I join please? I think EDD is 27 November, a bit confused about dates as my cycles vary quite a bit. I have a DD already who is 3, I'm 33.
My breasts seem to be trying to make a break for it out of all my bras which definitely happened last time and I've been getting a lot of round ligament pain too. A few waves of queasiness but mostly total exhaustion... I don't know how I'm going to get through the next few weeks! I had really bad sickness last time so I'm partly dreading that starting again but also worried in case it doesn't start and it's a bad sign!

stuckinny · 28/03/2017 17:30

NoCatsHere that's fantastic news. I bet it was very reassuring to see it.

butterybollocks · 28/03/2017 18:12

NoCats, great news.

Welcome to those who've just joined :)

Allthecoffee I feel exactly the same as you. Not nauseous yet really which is half good but half making me nervous. I do have that weird queasy hungry feeling tho.

HopingForALittleOne · 28/03/2017 18:16

Sock portal I keep going from cold to hot too! Sooo bloated today and tired! I seem to get the nausea in evenings and think it's just starting now :( x

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 28/03/2017 18:28

@HopingForALittleOne and @theotherendofthesockportal, I've been hot and cold too.

And @kimblesj and @Foggymist, my nausea is getting worse. Had just been first thing but today a chap in the office was eating a Brie sandwich just behind me and I had to leave the building and go for a walk.

I've booked an early scan for Easter Sunday when I'll be 8+2 as I'm going to tell DM then and would like to be certain of a heartbeat before I do.

DH thinks it's ridiculous of me, but I just need that certainty. Think he's worried I'll get addicted to scans after reading about that in his Idiots Guide to Fatherhood book, but as I've still only done one test I think I'll be ok!

Welcome @allthecoffee. I've had similar bra troubles and I'm 5lbs heavier than I was pre conception (which was already half a stone over my 'usual' weight thanks to a holiday).
I still have a normal BMI but not sure for how much longer, think I need to increase my exercise as I don't know what normal weight gain is, but I don't think this is it!

TeaAndPjs · 28/03/2017 19:15

Great news cats :)

I have an early scan booked next week :) Hopi g all is well!

Nausea settled again today, only every now and again a smell is making me think "boke" but in general all ok but k ow it'll kick in properly soon tho in previous pregnancies I've always felt nauseous but never actually sick so hoping this time will be same!

Welcome to the new ladies who've joined

NoCatsHere · 28/03/2017 19:33

Welcome all the new people!

nicecuppa although already I'm thinking if I can justify having another scan (this one was a nhs one) I know I'd have to go private now as there's no reason to be scanned again. However at £90 a pop there's no way I could get addicted to them! Despite how much I like to poas it's MUCH cheaper addiction!!!

Kaydee2017 · 28/03/2017 19:50

Hope everyone feeling nauseous & tired isn't doing too bad Flowers I just have the super sense of smell foggy mentioned! That & the sorest boobs in the world - I never used to get that before it during AF so it is a massive shock to the system!

Glad all those with early scans have been positive! And looks like a few of us due to have them next week! Hope yours goes well tomorrow hanna!

Had my midwife booking appointment today! So many questions! And have so much reading to do with all the stuff I was given. Also got booked in for 16 weeks, I was quite shocked they booked that as it's a while away yet, but helps with planning for work. Glad to be registered and everything now & have to phone hospital at the end of the week to book 12 week scan!

Welcome & congrats to those who've recently got their BFPs Smile

Exciting times for everyone Grin

lelygirl · 28/03/2017 20:33

Can I ask where you all book your private scans? I'm in Ireland..the local private clinic is ridiculously expensive.

Foggymist · 28/03/2017 20:43

@lelygirl I'm in Ireland too, private scans are €100-150 nearest to me depending on what the scan is for, some do packages for better value. Just google private scan and your county you'll get them.

lelygirl · 28/03/2017 20:51

@Foggymist just been quoted £210 for an early scan! Confused

Foggymist · 28/03/2017 20:53

@lelygirl are you in/near the North? That is a lot, I thought ours were expensive!!

lelygirl · 28/03/2017 20:56

@Foggymist..yep the North and very rural Grin

Foggymist · 28/03/2017 21:01

@lelygirl rural is a problem alright, not much choice where you go!

harrietm87 · 29/03/2017 02:19

Hello and welcome new people! I'm 5+4 and feel so massive already - everything seems to have expanded - I don't fit into any of my bras and all my clothes are tight on my bum and thighs as well as my tummy. I feel hideous! Boobs are quite sore but cramping has stopped. I haven't had any bad nausea yet but constant low level hunger which probably explains why I'm now so fat!

MrsGB2225 · 29/03/2017 06:58

Hi everyone! I'm glad that everyone is progressing along nicely. I think i might pay for a private scan around 10 weeks because I have a wedding when I'm 11+4 and it will be pretty hard to hide my bump in my dress!
It's definitely popping out earlier with number 2, I saw my friend do a double take in the park yesterday and I'm only 6+1.
I've avoided symptoms so far, but the nausea started kicking in yesterday. Only eating makes me feel better. Last time I put on so much weight and it was really hard to shift it so I promised myself it wouldn't happen this time, but I'm starting to eat more and more. Blush

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 29/03/2017 07:09

@harrietm87 and @MrsGB2225, I'm glad you're the same as me in the size increase stakes!
I have a friend who announced she was 12 weeks the day after I found out I was expecting, and even now at 14 weeks she looks exactly like normal, with a gorgeous glow and a tiny, teensy little bump that you have a strain to see.
I feel like a big spotty whale in contrast and I'm just over 8 weeks behind her!

Had some awful dreams last night and I'm now not sure I'm even ready to have a baby. We have building work going on and I think it's unsettling me. Kept dreaming I'd be a terrible mum and would have my child hate me. Had to go to the loo at 5am for a good cry.

BabyNo1Nov2017 · 29/03/2017 07:26

Morning everyone
I'm 6+2 today and have my group session booked for tomorrow then my booking appointment next week. Does anyone know what happens in the group session? I was too busy writing down what she was saying to ask 🙈🙈

MrsGB2225 · 29/03/2017 08:01

nicecuppa everyone worries if they are ready/will be a good mum. Even more so when you have the baby, some days I feel
like super mum and some days I feel like a terrible mum. There's loads of pressure nowadays to be perfect and seeing only the best bits on social media makes it harder.
I try and remember that as long as the baby is loved, fed, clean (ish) and warm that's all we can do.
Some people can keep up a massive social life and look amazing when pregnant, some people (like me) want to just stay at home, watch box sets & eat biscuits.
Be kind to yourself!

MrsGB2225 · 29/03/2017 08:02

babynumber1 - I've never heard of group sessions before. Where abouts are you?

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 29/03/2017 08:18

Thanks @MrsGB2225 Smile now I'm slightly teary in the office car park, but in a nice way.

BabyNo1Nov2017 · 29/03/2017 08:23

North east England. I have no idea what to expect I wanted to ask loads of questions but don't feel comfortable in a group situation.

AGnu · 29/03/2017 09:37

I've not heard of group sessions at this stage either. We had them for antenatal classes but not until much further along. I'm not a group person & there's no way I'd go to one before it was public knowledge! I'm antsy enough about being seen going to the clinic for booking in!

I feel dreadful today. So sick & tired! DSis is still here & my DC wanted to go to a local animal park today... I've said we can't because there's a possibility that they have chicken pox, but just haven't developed the spots yet. It is over a week since they were definitely exposed & DS1 may have been exposed about a week before that... They've both definitely got colds so it is possible that this is the beginning... I feel dreadful that I'm using their illness as an excuse for mine. If DSis wasn't here I'd just tell the DC that I wasn't feeling well. Not even got out of bed yet! Shoving pretzels in but the DC have joined me & keep stealing them! DSis is still asleep so I'm making the most of not having to pretend yet.

The scan showed a good sized embryo with a strong heartbeat... so relieved.

Like my previous pregnancy there was a small bleed site so that explains where the spotting has come from.
