I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Zampa I think I'm going to try and get a harmony type test x

harrietm87 · 27/03/2017 03:29

Hi zampa I think I'm 5+2 or 3 today actually - may mean my EDD is wrong? I got pregnant straight after a MC with no AF in between so tricky to work out dates - prob won't know until I have a scan! The bleeding from MC started 13 Feb which would put me at about 6 weeks, but I ovulated a week later than normal and think conceived around 4 March. Everyone I know has been overdue so baby will probs be born in December anyway!

I'm thinking of having a scan at 9 weeks for reassurance after 2 mcs in a row (if I get that far). Might have harmony test too but not sure yet.

NoCatsHere · 27/03/2017 08:10

Thanks all, will ring today and see how I get on. Will let you know!

harriet you are the same as me! But a week later. I started bleeding on Feb 7th and then got pregnant straight after without a period, but I've no idea when I ov. However we only dtd once so I know roughly when it was I think. I'm hoping for an early scan to confirm dates a bit better....

Mummyosborne1983 · 27/03/2017 08:23

I tested again this morning and got 2-3 on a digi which I find reassuring - nice to know my levels are going up! I won't get hung up on it but nice to check and use the tests up xx

Stuckinstressville · 27/03/2017 08:26

What's a harmony test ladies?

Mummyosborne1983 · 27/03/2017 08:44

Pulled off the internet...

What is the Harmony test?

The Harmony test analyzes cell free DNA in maternal blood and gives a strong indication of whether the fetus is at high or low risk of having trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) or trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome).

Stuckinstressville · 27/03/2017 09:21

Mummy thank you! Must engage brain today if this is how I started.....

NovemberBaby2017 · 27/03/2017 09:45

@AGnu i agree x

NovemberBaby2017 · 27/03/2017 09:46

Hi everyone, has anyone experienced bad night sweats? Im 5 + 3 and waking up soaked in the night.

Kristen83 · 27/03/2017 10:04

How are everyones clothes fitting? I am 6 weeks today and jeans are starting to feel tighter!!

lelygirl · 27/03/2017 10:12

@Kristen83 thank goodness I'm not the only one 🙈 no appetite so jewellery and rings etc feel looser but trousers tighter Confused

Foggymist · 27/03/2017 10:38

Everything fits me fine (I didn't show with ds until I was about 25-30 weeks) but I have such a heavy bloaty feeling that it feels like I'm huge and bloated. But then I look in the mirror and look the same and it's so weird!

butterybollocks · 27/03/2017 11:00

I feel so fat, and my boobs are massive, I'm going to need new bras soon! 6 weeks today for me. Still very cautious about getting excited but starting to think it might actually be happening.

shakeyospeare · 27/03/2017 11:27

Hello! I found out this weekend, which was a huge surprise! Grin possibly 6 weeks and have awful sickness that I put down to either a kidney infection or a bug. Three tests later and it's better than a kidney infection!
Think I'm due end of November but to be honest, I've no idea.
I've got an 18 month old and a nearly 11 year old and I already feel like I've forgotten everything 🙈

GingerHanna · 27/03/2017 13:05

Afternoon folks. Another one for the club... due 17 November and have my first scan on Wednesday. I'm in the Netherlands so will be doing things a little differently to most here!

I'm also on the pregnancy after mc thread as had a mmc in Dec 2015. Thankfully I've got past the point I mc'd last time so feeling a bit more relaxed. Surprisingly relaxed in fact. Hope that won't come back to bite me on Wednesday. As I'm 36 I'll be offered the triple test as standard which I'll be doing.

Today is 6+4. I have sore, heavy, hot boobs of doom, nausea all day, exhaustion, crappy skin, aversion to mango (annoying as I usually have some with breakfast) and am very bloated. So yeah, definitely feeling it right now!

Kaydee2017 · 27/03/2017 13:08

Buttery I could have written the same! 6+4 today Griny boobs are SO painful too, even just laying in bed hurts!!

The not telling people is killing me though! Hoping to go for an early scan next week & then tell parents! Midwife tomorrow to book in too! Cautiously excited!

NoCatsHere · 27/03/2017 13:35

november form what I remember I didn't experience night sweats until much later on, but that's not to say it's not uncommon early on too.

Also thanks for the encouragement to call, I really hate asking for stuff and you know when you don't want to be a nuisance? Anyway Sammy the girl I saw last time called me back and said I was fine to have a scan because of the mc and the fact I'm now pregnant with no period in between so they are fitting me in tomorrow at 10.50. I think I'm 7 weeks tomorrow so it'll be interesting to see what they say. I hope all is ok in there!

NoCatsHere · 27/03/2017 13:40

Kristen and lely My clothes fit ok but my belly is so obviously bloated, I look pregnant already and I'm only about 7 weeks. It's my third so I expected it to pop out quicker, but still this is pretty obvious. I'm getting very self conscious in front of people. It's hard to hide. I still have zero boobs. Disappointed!!!!

Stuckinstressville · 27/03/2017 13:53

Tingly boobs like I had when I was bf'ing and had too full boobs. Unpleasant sensation - not painful per se but not nice either.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 27/03/2017 14:15

I've had to change bras to some super comfortable seamless ones, and I feel terribly bloated. Clothes still fit though.

The worst change for me has been to my nails, they're so brittle they're cracking at anything. Anyone else had that and have any tips?

stuckinny · 27/03/2017 14:31

Good morning.
After a terrible Friday I had a much better weekend. I think sleep had a lot to do with it. I'm going to make more of an effort this week to get into bed at a reasonable hour especially as I have a run on Saturday morning.
I've already grown out of one pair of jeans. Although I don't really look any bigger there was no way in hell I was going to be able to do them up. Thank goodness I had a pair of stretchy ones.

I'm planning on taking the harmony test (or whatever the equivalent is here). Hopefully the doc can give me more information on when it can be done on Thursday.

Kristen83 · 27/03/2017 14:54

@nocatshere glad to hear, I am also getting an achiness in my lower abdomin is this normal? This is my first pregnancy so all new to me!!
This is the first day where I actually feel pregnant, feel bloated and just a little 'off'!

Foggymist · 27/03/2017 17:00

@Kristen83 yes mild abdominal aches, pains and cramps are totally normal as everything stretches to accommodate.

Bought new skinny jeans in my regular size today, the great thing about having already had a baby is knowing that it might take a long while but I will get back into them! Last time I was nearly saying goodbye to my skinnies when I was a swollen mess with a pudgy fresh c section scar.

My breasts are driving me insane! I've resorted to wearing my nursing night bra & kept my jumper on all day to hide the outline. I want to scream every time my DC hug me!

My DSis invited herself to stay for a few days & has been here for a total of 6 hours & it's ridiculously hard to hide how I'm feeling today! I've developed "travel sickness" from driving for half an hour... Thankfully she's usually pretty oblivious so unless I start vomitting loudly I'll probably be ok. It's just really bad timing when all I want to do is sleep on the sofa!

Midwife ran earlier to arrange a booking appt. I did consider not answering but then remembered DSis would be able to hear any message she left! I ran upstairs under the guise of finding my diary that was in my hand & managed to arrange the appt without once saying anything obvious! By the time I came back down DSis had fallen asleep on the sofa so I don't think she's suspicious! I'll be 8+5 at the appt & I'm worried that means my scan date will be later. Could be a little awkward given that I've got a flight booked for when I'll be 13+5 & don't really want to have a scan to deal with while trying to pack! Plus, we wanted to tell everyone well before the wedding we're flying to so it's not a "thing" on the day. Added to that, we have an autistic 5yo who's already really anxious about the flight & I wanted to stagger the big events that might upset him! If we could afford a private scan, I would definitely consider it! I'll mention it all at my booking appt & see if they can get me in as early as possible!
