Gosh my antenatal department are great. When they booked my scan yesterday (I rang them as was impatient waiting for my letter!) they gave me April 5th I asked if possible to change to the Monday as DH could be there they said sorry no space but they then rang me back later and said they had a cancellation would I like 9:30 Monday morning. How is that for service!

Have to admit some irrational nerves creeping in now. Not to much that baby isn't in there but that something is wrong with it.

Off work today as didn't sleep and was so sick this morning. I thought it was getting better!!

Lovely scan news btw wasp and we are definitely finding out the gender! Too impatient!

Definitely finding out, I can't wait! I also want to give myself time to come to terms with it possibly being a boy as I'm desperate for a girl!

Congrats to those who have had good scans and good luck to those having them this week.

Re finding out the gender, we'll be finding out in a few days time whenever our Panorama results come back. My gut is after 2 boys that the odds are higher of this one being a boy too, but I'd love a girl and my eating in this pregnancy has been completely different to when expecting the boys. But then I'm on prednisolone so it could just be that to blame! At least I haven't long left until we know if it's healthy and normal and what gender it is. There's no way I could have waiting until 20 weeks to find out if all is ok.

We're not finding out, I can definitely see the pros of finding out but I'd always liked the idea of it being a surprise when they arrive, and DH thinks it will rein in my spending

We had our dating scan yesterday as well. All went well - two hands and feet, saw the brain, fluid in the stomach to indicate it was swallowing and heard the heartbeat. We were in there for about 40 mins and the sonographer said it was the most photogenic baby she'd ever seen and just kept on printing photos before panicking as should be £3 each and telling me to hide them in my bag. Moved my date forward 3 days to 1st October so 13+3 today.

Was feeling so much better then had a horrible nightmare about losing the baby last night. Bloody hormones.

Ive finally recieved a letter from the midwife, my booking appointment is on 6th april, yaaay its about time

Lovely seeing scan photos! I've got mine on Friday when I will be 12+3 and I can't wait.

We had lots of cute scan pictures, followed by this really freaky one where baby stared right at the camera. You can see it's eyes! I think it looks like a little alien!

That's an amazing scan picture
I had mine today, after an initial scare - they couldn't find him via ultrasound, we had a great view via an internal one. Apparently my uterus is set deep within my pelvis - anyone rise heard of this? Apparently it's more common if you are tall and slim (ish!)
Anyway, saw the heartbeat and all looks good but have to go back next week for another attempt at the normal ultrasound, trust me to have awkward lady parts!!

Hey cath glad it went well! I have a tilted uterus which means it's tipped backwards and really hard to see. In the past no matter how much water I've drunk they can't find it except with internal. Got my fingers crossed its big enough by next Monday to show up !

Cannot believe how clear that scan is 10storey - it's amazing!

Had my Panorama test done today including second scan, sonographer said baby looks fit and healthy and it even did a few little wriggles! Felt amazingly real and could see everything, although not as clearly as some of your pics.
9+4 today, she said the early scan was bang on date.

Very nervous now waiting for the Panorama results, they said it could be 7 -10 working days which would mean two whole weeks from today! Just hoping everything is low risk

Here's to 15th April when all going well I'll FINALLY be 12 weeks and hopefully a lot less miserable!

I'm back next Tuesday hopefully he'll be a bit bigger but she did warn me it could be internal again, it just makes it a bit harder to measure for the tests!

plsbesticky Panorama is calendar days not working days, and I was told that they are pretty good at the turnaround at the moment and usually come back after 7 days from when the bloods arrive in America.

Hello all, just catching up on everyone's news. Lovely scan pics!

10storey you can see your name and NHS details in your pics, might want to crop them out! But that scan pic where the baby is looking right at the camera is crazy, I've never seen anything like it before! Are you sure it's a human in there?!

My scan is tomorrow, pretty nervous now.

We'll be finding out the sex at 20 weeks probably, but we won't be telling anyone what it is - so we'll know, but it'll be a surprise for everyone else. I am quite evilly looking forward to people saying "From the shape of your bump it's definitely a boy", or whatever, and all the while we will know the truth!

loopy thanks for letting me know, I'm in Ireland so not sure if the same applies - although if it does turn out to be 7 days that would be amazing!
