Oh and just to add my due dates have moved back three days, but they will confirm at my scan in two weeks (I was a day too early to have the nuchal measurements).

They also gave me the pics for free and we donated £3 at the door where someone was collecting for the children's department where I work :)

Back from scan and all was good, but the scan machine was rubbish quality so the photo is pretty poor 😞 Wish we'd gone to the bigger hospital instead of the local one now! But measured bang on for dates and heartbeat fine so think our odds of a MC are now much smaller at 11+4.

Re drugs januaryjunjper I beat you lol.

I am currently taking on a daily basis 3 x metformin, 2x vit d, ranitidine, prednisolone, pregnacare, omega 3, aspirin, progesterone and a fragmin injection. I have reminders on my phone so I take the right things at the right time!!

loopy no wonder you need reminders, that is a lot of things to remember every day!! Worth if it they keep bump safe and well though

Thanks for all the reassurance about dtd - I feel much better knowing it's not just me!!

Great news hearing all the good news about scans today bring on mine next weds! X

12 week scan this morning, everything looking good. Baby did lots of moving and waving. EDD confirmed 17th October (i've n/c'd from drunkenflamingo to butterybean). Starting to feel lots better now after a very challenging couple of months. Phew :)

So relieved, here is baby Doom 😀😀😀. 12 weeks and 3 days. EDD 16/10/2017.

So lovely to read lots of positive scan experiences, and glad to say I can join you, also had mine today and baby was described as perfect! We both cried with happiness/relief. My EDD has changed to 23rd October.

Re DTD, I'm another one who hasn't since conception . I just haven't felt up to it with the sickness, tiredness and everything else. Hoping that will change soon though!

So great to see everyone's pictures! The sense of relief is immense isn't it x

I heard my baby's heartbeat last night with a home Doppler. It was amazing but took a long time to find so don't think I'll be doing it again for a while.

yellowfrontdoor I feel just the same, mine isn't until next Thursday, I can't think about anything else! I don't think I'll be able to sleep next week. Congrats to everyone who have had good news at their scans, and I'm so so sorry for those with sad news. Thinking of you all.

Private scan Saturday :) harmony test. NHS couldn't do the Nuchal measurement on either of two scans bub wouldn't play ball.

DTD ... on and off.

DTD... Not since the positive test and OH hasn't even tried. I think he knows I'll be too nervous! It's gonna be a long 7 months for him. Poor lad 😂

It is lovely to see all the scan pics and hear so much good news there seems to have been a higher than average number of losses on this thread unfortunately. Hopefully the good news continues and it's onwards and upwards (or withwards) for us

£15 for photos here at scan. They even accept credit cards!

Glad everyone's scans are going well!

Excitingly I think I have almost started to show finally at 14+3. I mean, I look bloated and chubs but my stomach feels v hard (under the squidge layer!).

As for DTD dp and I have done it twice since we found out I was pregnant. Both times he has been scared he's broken my or the baby! However, he's been much more tactile with me and there's been lots of belly stoking and whispering which has been very sweet.

So so so lovely to hear and see all the great news! All those great looking babies!

mrsbumble and yellowfrontdoor, I feel exactly the same. Mine is on tues, not had any early scans, will be 13 weeks. Just really starting to panic and be terrified that I have imagined the whole thing and they will have a go at me for wasting their time. Guess if I had had an early scan, this anxiety wouldn't be quite so bad... ah well I will know for next time.

Feeling pretty crap at the mo anyway, currently on holiday with the family, and my sister (who is a bit of a cow at the best times) got drunk, and told my mum I was pregnant when I had told her in a fit of excitement ages ago and sworn her to secrecy. So now there is a huge elephant in the room... (and it's not just me!). She also said some pretty horrible things about the baby as well. But I won't go into that.

Anyway, sorry for the rather self pitying post. Anyone scanning today??

Same here SophieGiroux ours cost £15 ... im sure our hospital is the most expensive around - They are also on the most rubbish photo paper too! Damn you Bath RUH!

I'm exactly the same boxoffrogs - haven't had any early scans and now terrified I've imagined the whole thing and there will be nothing in there when they do the scan. Did joke with DH that they might find nothing but chocolate easter eggs in there

I toyed with the idea of an early scan but couldn't decide, think I was too scared in case it was bad news, and now the dating scan is so close I guess there is little point, but I do genuinely worry I've dreamt the whole thing.

Sorry to hear you've had a tough time with your sister - families are tricky things aren't they?!

I ended up having another scan today because I bled yesterday. Proper red blood too. WTF. Baby is fine though and no reason for the bleeding found... such a stressful 24 hours! I am measuring 14+1 now so EDD October 6th!

Woooo 1000th post!

I post with a great peice of advice that I thought of last night: do your pelvic floor when you're brushing your teeth. My toothbrush times 3 mins anyway so I just do it for that long, twice a day and then I don't forget. Clean Teeth and strong pelvic floor- Problem solved!
