Luci wow! I hope to join you soon with regards to finishing the nursery. I can't wait to see a photo of the finished room so that I can steal all your ideas
.
DH finished the painting yesterday and removed the masking tape last night. All he now has to do is relay the carpet and put up the new blinds. I will then put the ikea chest of drawers together in there as DH hates flat pack. We already have a built in wardrobe so we can start to put baby's stuff away. We will probably have the cotbed in there next month but it is actually not really required yet as we have the snuzpod and we wont be using the drawer attached underneath anytime soon so no rush there.
As for baby's clothes, I think we now have enough to start with and we shall buy the rest after baby's arrival. We have about 8 short sleeved bodysuits, 6 longsleeved ones, 7 sleepsuits, 5 pairs of mittens, 6 pairs of socks, 4 cotton hats, lots of muslins (large and small) and 1 cellular blanket. All clothes in newborn or 0-3 months.
All we need now is the car seat and a way to feed baby.
Spin thanks for the tips. I will pop into primark to see what they have. If I ruin them then I am not too fussed. Apart from that, I have not thought about my hospital bag yet.
Mawita glad scan went well and baby is doing well. I also don't have an isofix base so it will have to be the seat belt round the car seat. I am actually not too fussed about carrying the car seat. I will take baby out the car seat and carried into the house or put in pram. Baby might wake up but then so be it; I am not in the position to fuss.
As for cosleeper, we went for the snuzpod as it was slightly narrower than chicco next to me and matched our bedroom furniture. We bought ours from ebay. I will leave the bouncer and baby gym to DH to source. He likes that kind of thing.
