Lovely names ladies!
Had our growth scan today and all is fine. Baby girl distinctively average actually! Huge relief to see her wriggling away

Lovely names being chosen already. We have found out we are having a boy but haven't narrowed down from our shortlist yet, I think we'll leave it until he's born.

When is everyone planning on going on maternity leave? I am trying to be realistic about a very physical job on a hot ward in the summer but difficult to know with it being my first pregnancy!

I'm finishing work four weeks before my due date, though the first two weeks of that will be annual leave.

I have my 25 week midwife appt next Thurs and will get my MATB1 cert then, so I'm excited to hand that in to work and make it all official!

Hi everyone hoping you don't mind me joining so late. Due to previous m/cs have been waiting to get past 20 week scan to allow myself to believe this is actually going to happen! Due 28th Aug, first baby and found out it's a little lady :) super excited and overwhelmed and everything inbetween!

@namelessninja I'm hoping to make it to the end of summer term, which is a few weeks before I'm due. I have a 3 day residential the week before that as well, so I'll be very ready to finish after that!!

Congratulations, Doughnuts! I run the gamut of all the feelings every day, but I'm mostly enjoying being pregnant for the first time and I'm excited to meet my daughter 😍

May I join this thread please? Due my 2nd DC 30th Aug. I've a 17month old DS and recent scan shows this is a girl! 17 months of being in 'boy' mode, can't quite switch head round to girly mode! But very excited

I didn't find out sex but I'm convinced it's a boy. We are finding picking names so hard second time around. People can be so rude with their opinions towards names too . Puts me off talking about them with people

I'm still managing to rock the I don't look pregnant look, still in all my own clothes and skinny jeans which everyone else finds amazing! My bra size is also same size - but I am a 34j to start! God knows what size they will end up

Hi everybody canning join please I'm new to mumsnet so still getting used to it. I'm due the 5th August with our second, not finding out what we're having as we are definitely having no more so wanted to do the suprise thing. Everything going well but have to do my GTT again as the lab messed up my results. Other than that km excited but enjoying the time before baby arrives lol

Only just discovered this thread! I'm due 9th August with my first child, I'm having a little boy. Everything going ok so far.

Hello ladies! Can I be a latecomer as well? Like some other ladies I've been nervous about joining any groups. Ttc for 4.5 years. 3 miscarriages and 2 IVF failures. 3rd transfer was third time lucky it seems. 24 weeks yesterday and it starting to feel more real now! Due 19th August.

Congrats fatty! A good sign for you. We all appear to have dropped off this thread!. Unfortunatley due to work i cant join the FB group so im clearly missing out. How is everyone doing? Im now 29 weeks and v v uncomfy. Baby is footling breech so its quite unpleasant compared to my last two 'normal' babies. Ive also developed gestational diabetes which is a pain in the arse as i crave carbs all the time and sugar in my coffee. Sweetners are just blurgh. Im also seeing the obs every two weeks and having growth scans so thats quite nice. My fibro has gone aflame and im quite limited in daily life much more than usual to the chagrin of my other two DCs And i still cannot bring myself to go baby shopping for anything. Argh! Let me know how you all are!!!

Hi everyone! I'm not on Facebook either unfortunately. I'm happy to finally be in the third trimester (38+1), I've managed to get pretty much every minor pregnancy symptom going so I'm pretty sick of it all now! Had my GTT and bloods yesterday, plus the whooping cough vaccine so my arms hurt as well!

Quite worried about diabetes as frankly I'm struggling just with the backache, round ligament pain and general knackeredness as it is!

I have, however bought pretty much everything for baby except nappies and wipes! I love my travel system and sorting out all the clothes has been lots of fun.

Anyone thinking about maternity leave yet? It's my first so I'm a little conflicted about it all. On the one hand I want as much time with baby as possible but on the other I'm so shattered and sick of working or being in too much pain to struggle in that I'm seriously considering just stopping now!

Hi! Can I join in please ?! I'm currently 25 +6, due on 19th Aug with a little boy!

Feeling ok in pregnancy so far, apart from the exhaustion, heartburn, indigestion, aches and pains!!

We have the same due date foncy, we're having a boy too!

I'm not a part of the Facebook group either. I don't both with Facebook at all so it looks like we'll have to miss out.

I can definitely tell I'm creeping towards the third trimester. The aches and pains are starting to appear!

How's everyone's weight gain? I weighed myself for the first time since my booking appointment and have gained 9kg!!
