Sorry to hear that wurtz. I had agonising cramps about this time in my last pregnancy but everything was fine. Fingers crossed you will be too. Can you phone midwife if worried?

I would if I had one. My gp referred me to consultant care and I've not heard anything other than a "12" (read 10 and change) week scan

Sorry Wurtz. I had agonising and severe cramps last week and thought for sure that was it. I'm also worried as I've read progesterone can mask a natural miscarriage as it stops bleeding so I'm panicking about MMC.

That's what I'm worried about tiny I've tried calling the midwife self referral line but not getting any answer or an answerphone. Should I just leave it and wait until I get a letter? I'm concerned I've not been given a date for a booking in appointment given all my health issues too!

Thanks MoominMama22. Hoping it's nothing but not feeling very positive if I'm being honest, trying to prepare myself for the worst so that anything but is a nice relief. I have had mild cramping but nothing of any significance. I think really the two together are the worrying combination so other than discomfort during sex hopefully yours will subside! Nausea has improved today though which is also worrying me although I know it can mean nothing. I'd give anything to be back lying on the bathroom floor feeling sick!

playonwurtz if the cramps are genuinely agonising call your GP and ask to speak to the on call/emergency doc. I was seen the same day and had an early scan 2 days later when I had very bad cramps. I hadn't known I was pregnant when I had them but it was bad enough for me to make an appt anyway, then over the weekend I took preg test, by this time wasn't having any more pain but was still moved fwd and scanned on the Wednesday. I'm still worrying over what that pain was but everything is fine apparently and I'm relieved to have had 2 scans now and seen heart beat, which makes the wait Til 12 week scan not so hard.

emvy sorry you feel like that, it's exactly how I feel when I start to believe it's going wrong, sort of self preservation. Fingers crossed everything is fine. I have awful sickness but still have some good days, try not to read into it too much. Easier said than done, I know!

10storey yup :( Dr Google told me. Although there was also evidence to suggest that it doesn't stop bleeding or natural m/c, only that it can.

Wurtz I'm not sure - I don't have a date for booking-in either but because I had a late loss I go straight to the bereavement midwife who works with my consultant so have a direct route rather than faffing around with the main midwifery team.

There's no point me getting worked up over mmc yet because even if I went for scan now it's too early. I'll be 6+3 on Sunday, have a scan booked for the following Thursday but might change that to Monday or Tuesday.

Not feeling confident.

It looks like today has been a rather negative day for lots of us. Let's hope tomorrow brings some reassurance for those of us having a tough time and some relief from the sickness and nausea for those that are struggling with the early pregnancy symptoms. I'm approx 6+5 & due 23rd October according to NHS calculator.
Have seen my GP & have been referred to the midwife but haven't got an appointment or anything yet.

I have cramping that seems to be easing now, and extremely sore boobs! I'm also really bloated all the time; anyone else?

Having a shit time at work too :( I'll read the thread now Smile

Good plan emvy although don't think I could stomach cake. Fancy some Ben and Jerry's fudge brownie ice-cream. Don't have any because DH finished it. Grump.
I'm thankful that DD napped today and she has gone off to bed with minimal fuss tonight after 2h+ tantrum-athon last night, I am So relieved!!! PLEASE don't let me be jinxing this

Strangely enough I have a scan appt next week but I have not seen anyone else yet. I am feeling bloody awful. Sick all the time. Constantly eating to try and relieve it. Feel like nothing tho. And I love my food but not at the mo.
I feel completely bloated and everything going is an effort.
Feeling sorry for myself as I had constant sickness for the whole pregnancy with my DD and I'm setting myself up for it this time too.
Had a hissy fit about it all last night. Just feel like hibernating for 9 months

Wurtz it's probably me, I just used an NHS free calculator thingy. FDOLP was Friday 13th Jan, but I have very irregular cycles! I'm pretty sure I ovulated on the 30th Jan, thanks to opks.

Have I got it totally wrong?! Blush

That's what I used. Lmp 20th 25day cycle here. So that's probably where the difference is it goes by lmp

Hello v late hopping over from the old thread - has been so busy on here!
So sorry to hear about people having worrying symptoms - I hope you all get a good nights sleep and there is more good news in the am.
I am
Now 7+3 and have an early scan due to mmc in October on sat am at our EPU. To be honest I am dreading it as I don't think I could face it if we have another situation where there is no heart beat :-( have been feeling v v sick and head achey though and boobs still v sensitive - an also seeing the pregnancy loss counsellor that we saw after the miscarriage who has been absolutely brilliant at calming me down and helping manage my anxiety ! I really wish time would speed up and we could get into the more reassuring weeks of pregnancy!!!
I also have a hug aversion to chocolate - particularly dairy milk which I LOvE - it now tastes like rubber and makes me want to gag :-(
