hey everyone, thanks for the new thread :)

My dating scan came through the post today. 31st March. I'm a bit surprised as neither the consultant nor a midwife has been in touch yet!!!

Lots of good signs there babycarmen, especially the nausea and the hcg rising so high. Just be aware the cyclizine causes drowsiness - I'm having to wait until I get to work to take it as shouldn't drive on it. Fingers crossed all is well for you!

Oh and I'm also struggling with erm the other issues but I'm also on progesterone (cyclogest) and it's a known side effect

Sorry for dipping in and out so much - I do try to read every day but last thread moved so fast I could keep up! Think I need to start doing some place marking!

Hope everyone is doing okay! Struggling a bit with nausea the last wee while, fortunately i now only feel sick during DD1's morning feed and not every feed!

I'm currently on the boat home from the mainland and feeling properly green! Cursing DP for convincing me to move to an island!

Tinysalmon I have the other problem! I have poo explosions! It's awful! I feel like Will from the inbetweenness - I'm scared to fart!

Have my MW appointment tomorrow afternoon and hopefully getting a EDD and a date for my first scan.

Will feel really relieved after I've seen MW as with DD1 I didn't find out I was pregnant until 15/16 weeks as I was still having periods until then! So worried that I could be further on then I think!

Jumping on the thread although not exactly sure of dates yet due to an irregular cycle - sometime mid October I think! Can't wait for my first midwife appointment on Thursday so I stop feeling like I've made the whole thing up!

I'm Curled up on sofa feeling very sick after a little car journey. Boobs have joined in the pregnancy too and started to hurt and get bigger (result!).

Yes tinysalmon so constipated, I've resorted to movicol but don't know if it's just made me more bloated...

People are more likely to guess by my decrease in tea and morning spent with my head in my hands trying desperately to nibble a biscuit! :s

I've still not told anyone but my oh. Kind of like it being our little secret! Planning on telling parents next weekend and will tell work straight after that, around 8 weeks. I know it's early, but it may require some thought from works perspective!

I had to tell my boss today as I spent more of the day in the loo (between nausea and needing a wee!) Than not and also had to duck out of a meeting. I'm only 5 weeks so unless by some miracle I conceived the month before I can't work out why I'm so rotten already. It's too early to feel this bad!!

Nausea is awful in the mornings, have been retching when getting myself and DS dressed (poor kid). Also utterly knackered.

Will call the GP for my booking in appt next week I think.

Storey I've noticed that! Could sleep all day but it's better then the horrendous nausea! I had hyperemesis with my last pregnancy so worried it's coming back again.

Also struggling with constipation and bloating here I literally look a good 5 months already

I've been suffering with nausea, bloating and fatigue for at least four weeks PlayOnWurtz and I'm no more than 8 weeks gone at the most! I guess it can start pretty early

Playonwurtz - I started being sick at 9dpo when I was pregnant with my ds and bizarrely could only eat olives. I knew straight away, but I only got a positive test at 12dpo.

So glad I'm not the only one with constipation! emberblu, vegetables are also making me gag! We had a roast on Sunday and the peas and carrots and parsnips were gag-inducing!

Evening all. I came home from work and bawled my eyes out for at least an hour. Just feeling inexplicably sad for some reason. Is this normal?!! Doesn't help that DP is away for work all this week... feeling a bit overwhelmed and alone...

Boxesoffrogs I'm sure it's entirely normal! I'm feeling alone even with DP here, I can't imagine how difficult it would be without him. Spend the evening doing something you really enjoy and make the most of having the place to yourself to help cheer yourself up

Boxesoffrogs my DP is away on business too! Lucky sod, he's in Milan 😩 He asked if I wanted anything while he was there but I'm too fat to fit in any nice clothes anymore! I'm just having cuddles with the dog and watching Further Back In Time For Dinner love this show on TV.

I nearly threw up on the way to DD's nursery this morning! I think this is a low point... (I'm 8+6)

Had my booking in appointment with the GP, because they said to come in so they could refer me. I'll be at UCLH -- anyone else? If all goes well, I'm hoping for a home birth.
