Thanks savage and rise, very interesting reading.

Ooh I hadn't thought of tk maxx for changing bag thanks rustler! Although still thinking we want a rucksack style one as hope to use sling quite a bit.

Glad to see they're looking after you Grow, hope you feel better soon.

Oh blimey Autumn that crunch doesn't sound good!? Let's hope it miraculously heals after some rest :)

Yes yellow! Itchy back and sometimes nipples Blush

WishIWasSleeping · 26/01/2017 22:20

Rise -That advice is spot on. Despite you declaring that it will never happen.
Even if they just end up sleeping in it! Grin

ShiniBerry · 26/01/2017 22:26

I think my morning sickness is back, woke up every day this week completely nauseous and even had to jump out of bed and rush to the loo to throw up-NOT an easy feat with my bump!!! I've also no appetite at all and struggling to eat... Ugh i thought this part of pregnancy was supposed to be over and done with!! Sad.

MrsJW15 · 26/01/2017 22:30

Yellow I'm just generally itchy! I was so desperate to get home and shower tonight.

Slightly struggling with some New Look over bump leggings tonight which I was testing pre-holiday. They are really comfy, except the top bit (waist band) which is quite tight and I can't quite figure out where it should sit!

astormgivenflesh · 26/01/2017 22:47

Oh shinibaby that's horrible 😭 I was sick constantly until week 20, had a lovely sick free week and thought I was over it and then it started back up again and I want to weep!!

Acorncat · 26/01/2017 22:57

I had delayed cord clamping with my first a couple of years ago, I asked specifically but they said it was standard practice anyway if baby was ok.

I've still not bought anything yet, and need to clear out the dumping ground spare room to set up another bed for cosleeping. I'm not even going to bother with a cot this time, one less hassle to avoid trying to convince them to sleep there! Feels like it's still ages away, in denial possibly.

Rustler74 · 27/01/2017 08:26

Badgerbird that's what I have: it's a fisher price rucksack! Maybe they'll have it on tkMaxx website? I saw it N Hatfield on Sunday and then yesterday in St Albans and I bought it for £24.99

Rustler74 · 27/01/2017 08:32

I'm also really itchy, I don't think it's in our head...
I tried to get my OH to donate blood for the first time so he would know, but he came down with a cold. I'm definitely negative so prob getting the injection anyway.
Re delayed clamping, not sure if that means that you can't donate the stem cells but that's what I'm hoping to do.

Rabbitykins55 · 27/01/2017 08:32

25 week appointment this morning, is there anything I should ask about? I've got a mind blank! Blush I had loads of questions last week but didn't write any down!

rustler we are in an area for donating cord blood and it's fine to wait

Rustler74 · 27/01/2017 08:46

Your MATB1 form? Record heartbeat on your phone! How to keep track of movement and kicking? I think you'll get blood tests as well, and midwife is likely to think of things you need to talk about. Good luck x

Autumnsweater · 27/01/2017 08:57

Matb1 form, vaccinations, NHS antenatal classes/hospital tours, what to do if not feeling movement.. thats on my list for next week.

Badgerbird · 27/01/2017 09:08

Blimey that's good rustler!! Think I'll pop by Watford branch today and see if they've got any.

storm and shini* hope the sickness subsides!

Baby brain was out in full force yesterday!!! Poured my soup directly into bowl, cold, instead of saucepan. One of my hoop earrings fell out, popped it back in, later freaked out I'd lost the other one, had put both in same hole Confused There were other things but let's leave it there..... DH and I were wetting ourselves laughing!! Oh dear....

Teaspoon74 · 27/01/2017 09:28

Shini - poor you! I'm still vomming at 24+4. Sucks doesn't it?! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Grow - re sickness: at my scan last week I got a bit emosh at how bump was doing given how I'll I've been. The scan lady basically said "think of bump like a parasite - she's taking everything she needs first so just because you are feeling awful, doesn't mean she's affected." So long as the ME/Dr thinks she's ok it's just a matter of you coping. Good luck!

Storm - we're having a girl too and I'm exactly the same as you - I don't want pink, but the MIL has her own ideas!

Rasperry - hope you're feeling a wee bit better. And the nursery is looking lovely. V jealous of your bump. Am now officially "out" in work and despite being nearly six months preggers the bump is relatively discrete ;(

Rustler - I'm all about foxes!! We have a foxy visitor for comes to see me daily when I'm at home! Where did you get your fox towel from please?

Nurse - hope the GTT went well yesterday. Finally got my date in 3wks time. Not looking forward to it!

Lucie - the elephant wallpaper is gorgeous!!!

Teaspoon74 · 27/01/2017 09:30

Badger - lol! OH keeps citing baby brain at me when I forget a word or lose sthg. It's only going to get worse!

Rabbitykins55 · 27/01/2017 09:34

Thanks everyone! I've written them down ready! Smile

savagehk · 27/01/2017 09:38

Is it this changing bag? www.tkmaxx.com/nursery/dark-blue-changing-backpack/invt/72500774

growcookeat · 27/01/2017 09:53

Thanks for the well wishes all.

Astorm im amazed at how well my mum and mil have held back on the buying front - I was sure they'd be like yours! I got one baby gift from each at Xmas and seem to be collecting hand knitted jumpers and cardigans from mil and her friends at church. The fact it will be a spring/summer baby isn't stopping them! There's time yet though.

Just realised I'm into single digit countdown too - 99 days today for all May 6th ladies!

MrsJW15 · 27/01/2017 10:01

Rustler recording heartbeat on your phone is a great idea! Will see if I can remember to ask that at mine next week.

RedBlu · 27/01/2017 10:07

Didn't someone post that little lamb nappies were having a sale at 10am? I cannot see anything!

Sat at home with an awful cold today feeling sorry for myself.

EsmesBees · 27/01/2017 10:12

Those heading to tkmaxx have a look at grobags while you are there. Much cheaper than other places.

PeachIcedT · 27/01/2017 10:14

Red my I think you need to go via their Facebook page

PeachIcedT · 27/01/2017 10:15
