sherbertlemon17 I don't know why I think it as I'm not getting mad symptoms, I'm probably wrong anyway. It would be lots of hard work, even harder for you with your child already.

I thought I was a little unusual fluffy and Shwighty1 I will call them on Monday to see what's going on, they're not able to look at the appointments on the weekend, apparently 😡

calimommy · 21/01/2017 20:47

Amz26 I'd die if there were two in there 😝 honestly dont know how I'd cope. Probably wouldn't be breastfeeding for long I'd say! DS2 is a Velcro child, he will be well put out in September, all going well of course!

ADuckNamedSplash · 21/01/2017 21:07

Thanks Shwighty and Fluffy. If I agreed to the conference, I couldn’t pull out without incurring costs for the company, which I’d feel bad about. But it’s encouraging to hear that my symptoms will hopefully be better by then. I also got my scan date in the post today (17th Feb) and it doesn’t clash, so that’s one worry gone.

Sorry you’re having a hard time with your DH, Fluffy - hope he steps his game up soon!

flymo - Thanks for the suggestion - I’ll look into pregnancy pillows.

ZylaB · 21/01/2017 21:14

5 weeks tomorrow. I've been having funny twinges/cramps today and am really worrying. I know it can be normal, but knowing that doesn't stop me worrying :(

Frillyhorseyknickers · 21/01/2017 22:17

Today is the first day I've felt really rough, and my nipples are on fire.

I've got my booking appointment on 31st, I'm a bit clueless until then really!!

Shwighty1 · 21/01/2017 23:56

Oh wow there's an October 2017 thread! I remember thinking that was a bit of a milestone with ds1 chat group!!!!

Amz26 · 22/01/2017 00:05

calimommy bless him, my nephews are the same with their mums.. They stick to them like glue.. on the other my niece is so independent! I think boys are more clingy to their mums :)

Fluffywallow · 22/01/2017 06:39

Oh wow shwighty an October thread is indeed a big milestone!!

Ksk it's so hard looking after a little one when feeling like this isn't it....my DD climbs all over me and wants to play and it's so hard to keep my patience. I feel bad for her but I'm hopeful once the sickness passes I can do some good parenting again Sad

ADuckNamedSplash · 22/01/2017 07:51

Zyla - I had lots of cramps around 5 weeks too and everything was fine - try not to worry x

Ooh, well spotted Shwighty - we're not the newbies any more! I guess we'll get fewer people joining us now.

ZylaB · 22/01/2017 08:12

Thanks duck

newbie87 · 22/01/2017 08:27

Hi all, please can i join? Completely new to this so please help me learn!!! Got my first ever BFP last week and due date calculator is coming up with 14th september! So excited but feeling awfully nauseous ALL THE TIME 😕 can't really eat much and the boob pain...!!!!!! OUCH!

turtletum · 22/01/2017 09:07

Welcome newbie. I'm the same with the boob pain. I feel I could smash through walls with them at the moment! Congrats on your bfp.

puttingourhoodupdown · 22/01/2017 09:15

Morning ladies, great news on all the weekend scans....I'm only 4+5 so it seems such a long time until I can have a scan.

I still have absolutely no symptoms although I don't remember any with DD until the tiredness kicked in around week 9. I'm knackered but I think that's related to a toddler with a cough keeping me up in the night! Hope those with the sickness eases off.....do go and see your GP about anti sickness mess in case it's HG....don't just suffer along!

Have a lovely Sunday all

DontBeBlueBeARainbow · 22/01/2017 11:23

Happy Sunday ladies!

I'm feeling really sorry for myself, over 3 weeks of constant nausea now Confused and this evening I'm just lying in bed instead of sit at the table grossed out by ALL Chinese food. Might have to order a subway, can't think of anything else i can stomach. It definitely wasn't like this the first time, i think it only lasted a week or two, although i was sick a few times whereas i haven't been sick yet this time.

Boobs still not different, I've also been wondering if that's because I'm still BFing.

I think I'll end up telling everyone before i have my first scan, I'll probably go at 13 weeks as I'm travelling from now until then.

So excited to be in Germany and the UK, I'm convinced all the food will cure my nausea!

About long haul flying, i haven't done it in the 1st trimester before, flew at 34 weeks last time. I hope altitude doesn't worsen the nausea :(

Amz26 · 22/01/2017 13:34

Happy Sunday everyone

everything went well today at the scan! They said there was a strong heartbeat and everything looked good... It was so emotional 🙈 I thought I was 7weeks 2days but she thought I was 7+4 days so I was really close anyway xx

Fluffywallow · 22/01/2017 14:14

Great news amz!

Dixiechick1991 · 22/01/2017 14:19

Hello. WEnt for another reassurance scan today after being told last week that I was only 5-6 weeks, I'm now 7+3 with baby measuring 11.5mm and a tilted uterus.
Got to see a tiny little blob with a heartbeat & new due date of 7th September

I've gone from 25th August to 15th September to 7th September.

Great news on the scans Amz and Dixie!

Annoyed myself my using my last CB digi this morning, even though I knew it was too early to see it move from 2-3 to 3+ Angry So now I need to buy another one and take this morning's apart to analyse when to take the next one!

In other news, my knees aren't aching, and I have stopped breastfeeding! Dd (12 months) rejected the breast on Thursday night and hasn't fed since. I feel quite guilty as I had planned to feed for longer, but my supply has dropped so much that she was getting increasingly cross.

sherbertlemon17 · 22/01/2017 16:09

Kep don't be too hard on yourself! You've done an amazing job to breastfeed your LO for so long as it. You've done so well, and now your body is doing what it needs to do for your next baby.

Amazing news on the scan Amz and Dixie. I'm glad everything's measuring up as it should now.

I know it's going back to the last thread but I was on a mission this weekend to find good decaf! For anyone still on the lookout, the Decaf Yorkshire tea is actually quite nice and if you buy ground coffee, the Taylor's Decaf is lovely.

sherbertlemon17 · 22/01/2017 16:14

Oh, and forgot to ask... how do I find the spreadsheet to add my stats?

Kskifred · 22/01/2017 16:38

Great news on the scans ladies!

Those that are feeling constantly nauseated I bought some ginger ale on recommendation earlier and pleased to say it definitely has taken the edge off! Going to stock up, co op do a low calorie one. Wristbands didn't really work for me, just bruised my wrists although i'm scared to take them off in case they are helping a bit?! But yeah ginger ale is worth a try, ginger nuts haven't worked for me x

MrsK8541 · 22/01/2017 16:56

kskifred Thank you for the heads up on ginger ale, just sent DP out to get some! Struggling with sickness today, only been sick a few times this morning but I haven't been able to shift the awful nausea all day. Think a doctors appointment could be on the cards if it doesn't settle 😔

newbie87 · 22/01/2017 17:11

(Stockpiles ginger ale before work 2moro!) I have switched to tetley decaff and havent found it too bad at all... i do have quite a weak milky tea though! Excited to see all these scan posts coming in, did anyone cry at their scan?! I have a feeling i'm going to cry like a baby!! Im so emotional at the minute...

Kskifred · 22/01/2017 17:14

It's been really getting me down too, with a toddler to look after and feeling sick is just horrible. Praying it's just because of a hormone surge and not here to stay, i don't know how i will cope!

I feel really ill after cooking dinner again, urgh.

ZylaB · 22/01/2017 17:15

sherbetlemon I swear by twinings decaf English breakfast tea :)
Yay for the fab scans.
