The nausea has definitely ramped up here so working from home today. This morning have had the double whammy of my first proper upchuck followed by spotting! My tummy is feeling tender but not sure if that is the aftermath of the violent vomiting or if it is period-y cramps. I am going see if I get any more before calling the GP for an EPU referral. Early pregnancy is such a head fuck, especially if you've had miscarriages in the past. Don't want to worry dh as he has a big all day meeting today but need a hug!

WLMcI · 01/02/2017 08:27

Hugs kep! Brew That's the thing with symptoms--we worry if we don't have them, and we worry if we have them in spades! Head melt, absolutely Confused

Can someone please take over the spreadsheet. Things are not looking good for me after an A&E visit last night. My HGC is too low and not doubling. I have a scan tomorrow morning. I'm preparing for the worse.

If someone can pm me please when they have made a copy of the spreadsheet I can delete it from my account. Thank you.

oliversmummy26 · 01/02/2017 09:37

Sending hugs to everyone havibg difficuly tomes at the moment

Im keeping quiet but still lurking. Still not really feeling pregnant and worrying. and ive got a long time till my 12 week scan.

I don't remember it being so stressful last time

Heyitsholly · 01/02/2017 12:19

DontBuyANewMumCashmere · 01/02/2017 12:43

Flowers to eevee, lasanga and mouse. Fingers crossed for you.

Don't like to moan as it's all a good sign isn't it... but today is my worst day so far. I'm 9+4 and I think I read it peaks 9-10 weeks? Dtd last night and had some spotting but read up and it seems fairly standard.
DH is wfh today but has an interview this pm so is being a bit (understandably but also uncharacteristically) useless.
I'm camped on sofa with DD watching TV. Awful. Poor DD.
Sad

EssentialHummus · 01/02/2017 12:49

Fingers crossed for everyone struggling today Flowers.

I'm 8 +5 (I think?) and struggling today. Woke about at about 4am, couldn't get back to sleep. Now trying to work but brain is rather mushy. We have a birthday party tonight for a friend of DH's, who changed it from bowling to cocktails in Mayfair at the last minute. I'm not sure whether to go and hope for mocktails or dive back under the duvet after work.

oliversmummy26 · 01/02/2017 12:50

Cashmere I was about to say the same! I'm only 8+4, and today is my worst day yet..my usual trick of eating to stop feeling sick isn't helping, I'm bloated and burpy and keep feeling like I could throw up at any minute but can't! I feel like being sick would bring me some small relief but I can't even manage that! Bleugh! Envy

I really hope this goes soon, I didn't feel nearly this bad with DS...I do think sitting doing nothing doesn't help though, as when I have to get up and do stuff I feel much better, but there is zero motivation to get moving...also I'm stuck at work infront of a computer all day Sad

So sorry mouse

ZylaB · 01/02/2017 12:57

Scan all good! Little heartbeat :). They've put me at 5+6 today and I thought I was 6+3, this puts me at due date of 28th Sept now, but I'm expecting to get a couple of days back when I go for another scan in 3 weeks, which the lovely obstetrician booked me in for just to reassure me because of mc last time :)

oliversmummy26 · 01/02/2017 12:57

Ooh hummus rather you than me, I'd be tucked up in bed by 9pm if I were you! Don't talk to me about mushy brain either, I am forgetting loads of stuff at the moment and making silly mistakes at work which isn't like me...they still don't know I'm pregnant either and someone commented yesterday that I'm always stuffing my face! I've been having breakfast at work too, so have stopped that now, at least then it seems like I'm eating a little less! I'm also massive and must have put on loads of weight since before Christmas, so this doesn't help!

Great news Zyla, so pleased for you!

OP posts:
calimommy · 01/02/2017 13:43

zylaB I had a similar experience, scan at 6wks measured 5, scan at 8weeks measured 7+4 so it grew more than the two weeks (technically) so they kept my original date. The machines are very good but they are measuring teeny tiny specs at the start so as long as you've no bleeding or cramping there's no reason to eorry👍 I've had two MC so I understand the stress though!
