putting I hear you! My nausea has really ramped up today, I feel all bloated and burpy, only I've never been able to burp properly so every time it tries to bubble up it feels like I could be sick.
No shame in youtube - I would have spent all morning in bed with my DS watching "play doh videos" this morning if I could have...I've been waiting for it to get really bad, so I can call in sick one day, but I feel so guilty just thinking about it. Although I am genuinely poorly, because I'm not being sick I feel like I would be taking advantage..

I'm still on quite strong anti-emetics. I haven't been sick since Sunday and am a lot better but I haven't been able to eat a proper meal since Saturday lunchtime. I'm not sure what to do. It's making me feel a bit weak and tired.

Amz26 · 31/01/2017 18:34

My nausea has ramped up a notch too! I haven't had a day off work yet but like you oliversmummy26 I would feel bad as I haven't been sick at all.. I will save it for when I'm really unwell, fx it doesn't happen.

So I have a meeting with my boss tonight once the come home from work about the children and my job role.. (nothing about being pregnant) The only thing is the little girl who is 9 ask me about an hour was I pregnant as my belly was much bigger, I said no I must of eaten to much cake! She then backtracked and said it must be the way you're bending over 🙈 I feel bad for lying but what do I do? Tell my boss in the meeting or wait? I don't want the little one to tell her mum what she said to me and then her mum be watching me all the time!! What should I do???? X

By the way I'm a nanny 😁

Hello

I am going to leave this thread, as I suspected all along, due to the lack of symptoms, I have had a missed miscarriage. Booked in for ERPC next week.

oliversmumny could you please delete me from the spreadsheet?

Thank you and all the best to you all.

I wish I'd had all the symptoms many of you are struggling with, you're so lucky in a way. X

Amz I am also a part time nanny afternoons only. I told them last week. Just because I needed time off for appointments and also she was trying to book summer holidays and asking when I will be away. Kids don't know, I will wait for 12 weeks or more to tell them.
If all goes to plan I wont be coming back to them, as I have set up my own Montessori School this year and its just to much, add a baby (fingers crossed) into the mix I wouldn't be able for it all.

But tell them when you feel ready. Hope the meeting goes well Smile

MrsK8541 · 31/01/2017 21:03

Hi ladies,

Haven't posted in a while but I've been lurking. Been feeling very strange about pregnancy, I've put it down to anxieties following previous miscarriages. Finally plucked up the courage for an early scan after missing 2 I had previously booked. Baby looked good with a nice heartbeat. They dated me at 7+2, so 2 days behind what I initially thought.

Sickness has been horrible, I've hardly left the house in 2 weeks. I'm taking promethazine (phenergan) which helps slightly, although mainly because it knocks me out! Thinking of all you other sicky ladies.

sherbertlemon17 · 31/01/2017 21:05

HellsBells That sounds amazing, I would love to do something like that!! The meeting went well but I didn't end up telling them as it didn't seem like the right time 😩I'm really nervous as I know they're gong to hate me as I plan to come back after my maturity leave.. and I'm sure they won't be happy getting a temp 🤔 How did your boss take it? X
