Could you post another link to the list please, Raspberry x

Ohh some good deals there! I'm liking the muslin cloths been looking for some reasonably priced patterned ones.

Sah1987 · 13/01/2017 22:45

I kit have missed the meet up? I'm assuming I'm to far away in Kent, but where abouts is it?

Sah1987 · 13/01/2017 22:47

Anyone looked at or has this pram can give me any advice?

I've kind of fallen in love (no decisions on colour/pattern yet though) as has a tall handle perfect for all 6 ft of me!!

In keeping with the thread title, I'm going on a trip to Mothercare tomorrow! Hoping to get a better idea about prams/buggies/travel systems/whatever the heck they're called. Quite like the look of the Mothercare Roam, but couldn't seem to find a base for the car seat, but I'll see what they say in store. There are some other lovely ones but I just can't bring myself to spend so much!

mrspage1985 · 14/01/2017 07:07

Exciting week for us, had the 20 week scan on Wednesday then had the travel system and nursery furniture delivered Thursday and Friday! Can't wait for it all to be put together now!
Had a mooch on mothercare online last night and got a few bits from the sale, some supper cute boots were my star buy - down from around £30 to £7 Smile

peasandquiet · 14/01/2017 07:20

Sah have never heard of that one, have you been to a shop and tried it out? I wouldn't buy without having pushed and folded first if I were you, nothing makes you fall out of love faster than a difficult fold. If budget is tight I think I'd skip the traditional travel system and get a stroller type like a baby jogger that you can attach a car seat or a cocoon too for the early days, your also then sorted for when they are a bit older. Or I would buy second hand. You can get a second had Vista for under £300 and I can't rate the pushchair enough for you.
I wanted to go to the big mothercare near us today and do some shopping but my husband is off out doing his hobby and wants to come so can't leave him behind never mind have got another 19 week to shop I suppose!! x

RasperryInAMelon · 14/01/2017 09:27

Gutted I won't be able to, I work until 6om maybe when I'm on holiday before May leave x

newbieho · 14/01/2017 11:11

Rustler thanks for the link!

Regarding Monday meetup for those of you who have not met before - we are meeting at Costa between platforms 7 and 8, not in the Costa upstairs. The upstairs one gets very crowded easily and it's difficult to find a seat there. See you and the bumps soon!

Rustler74 · 14/01/2017 13:19

Sah1987 that looks a good one indeed! My OH is quite tall too, so I'd consider same brand. I'm not convinced on the colours though Wink

We are thinking of meeting up Monday 16 January in Victoria station around 6. Is that correct Raspberry?

EsmesBees · 14/01/2017 13:44

I've never heard of that make Sag. Great price though.

I am not the proud owner of a second hand Phil and Ted's double. Feeling slightly more prepared now.

Still being very indecisive about what co-sleeper crib to get. My head says rent a bed nest again, my heart cannot ignore all the bad news stories. Even though the design has changed.

Sipperskipper · 14/01/2017 15:37

Have a great time all those meeting up!

Sah1987 · 14/01/2017 16:22

I like there are loads of different choices of colours, like loads?!! Not just that one!
It just means not buying a Moses basket as it comes with x

RasperryInAMelon · 14/01/2017 16:24

That's correct Rustler will you be joining?

Barnes79 · 14/01/2017 17:53

OH is now away with work until next Sat so did a bit of basic baby shopping - sleepsuits and bodysuits, breast pads (my sister said only tommee tippee ones are any good as she found others leaked or were so thick they showed through her clothes) and things like Sudocream etc from Tesco (again, on the sisters advice as she said other cream makes made the nappies waterproof which is obviously not what is wanted).

Anyone know which shops sell gliding cribs or gliding chairs for breast feeding? Ideally I don't want to buy online without trying first but have not seen them in any shops yet.

Spam88 · 14/01/2017 19:29

So I bought my pram today! Came with a car seat as well :) the isofix base was out of stock though so I'll now be checking the website like a mad woman every day for when it comes back in stock. Also bought a travel cot, which is what we've decided to go for for downstairs seeing as we'll need one for actual travelling anyway.

claremccrory59 · 14/01/2017 19:54

My M&P Armadillo City arrived today! I got it for my 13 month baby to make getting out & about in the car easier during the 3rd trimester and I will try to use it with my Boba carrier for #2 as much as possible until I need to use a double. Still can't decide what double to go for 🤔🤔🤔

FatOldBag · 14/01/2017 20:03

Lullaby I've been having a lot of those unfortunately! My pelvic floor obviously needs work. The only thing worse than vomiting into a flower bed in public is peeing while you're at it, haha! At least it's winter and with layers and coats nobody will have known (I hope)!

I caved in and bought a new pram. Dd and ds both managed in a pink Tesco buggy which was about £15. I was going to make do with that for this ds as well, as it folds up and down easily with one hand and is very small to store. But it doesn't have a basket/net thing underneath, so when I saw Tesco had the next version up, same practical/light design, but with a net/basket thing underneath and in black and it was reduced to £13, I went for it. I got a cosy toes for it for about £3 as well! Bargains. You can only use it from 6 months on but I'm happy with a sling before then anyway.

Missfab2000 · 14/01/2017 20:09

Had my scan on Friday (finally at 21+3) and we are having a boy 💙 Bought some lovely ted baker clothes in the Debenhams sale today 50% off Smile

Tickyboovicki · 14/01/2017 20:14

Just had a thought, but for anyone whose struggling with bras getting a little uncomfortable (mines definitely towards the end of the day) I got these in primark. Seam free so nothing digs in, and not the typically thick straps that make sports bras so obvious! Went and got some more today as they are only £8 for 2 and really comfy! Probably not as supportive as a normal bra but fine for day to day and a bit of exercise (and I don't have tiny boobs so was pleasantly surprised!)

Tickyboovicki · 14/01/2017 20:15

They still have the cup lining in too which for some reason I cant go without!

peasandquiet · 14/01/2017 21:49

Fat. £13 that's amazing! Bargain of the century.
Ticky is there a size guide on the back of that label? I've got ridiculous boobs so not sure they make them big enough!

Northernexile · 14/01/2017 22:03

Hello claremccrory, I'm in NI too, and so is nurse15. I'm in Tyrone, whereabouts are you?

I'm going to weigh myself tonight out of curiosity, haven't bothered since my booking appointment and I think I've put on a fair bit. I'm jealous of all you shoppers and nursery decorators- as this is dc3 I've no excuse to spend!

Northernexile · 14/01/2017 22:07

Ok have put on 1 stone and two pounds at 25 weeks. Could be worse I suppose. Off to have some ice cream now!
