Sorry to hear that put Flowers

Happy New Year everyone, 2017 is going to be a great one for all of us xx

ThirdThoughts · 01/01/2017 10:11

Sorry put Flowers Take care of yourself and lean on your close family/friends if you need to.

I'm feeling positive after my booking in appointment which was with the home birth team. My midwife is one I met with my first and I've got a student midwife who is following women as part of continuity care who is lovely too.

Dating scan is for 31st January. We decided not to have screening. I've been put on a higher dose of folic acid (due to high BMI).

mistletoeprickles · 01/01/2017 10:50

Thought it was about time I found you all.

I'm currently 7+5 with dc2 (I've had 3 mc between, each pregnacy didn't last longer than 5 weeks) with long cycles i will be due 14th of August. This baby is a result of clomid as I have PCOS.

DD is almost 7 and we haven't told her yet, I can't wait to be able to tell her because she's been asking for a baby for a long time.

I've had a few issues a long the way with this pregnancy, because of my history I'm having terrible anxiety but my local epau have been amazing and I've been scanned 3 times already. One 5 weeks where we saw a sac, then at 6 ish where we had a yolk and a fetal pole and most recently on Thursday where we saw the heartbeat for the first time. There were so many happy tears. I have now been discharged to midwife care so will be booking my first appointment after the new year.

I'm another with serious bloat and my boobs are so hard!

Anyone else had the moment of panic yet about being heavily pregnant in hot weather?

whoateallthejaffacakes · 01/01/2017 12:52

sorry to hear that put Flowers Sad

Happy New Year everyone, hope you're all keeping/feeling well. i've been feeling so ill since i woke, feeling ever ever so slightly better now since i've been sick & then managed a slice of toast. tmi but i think being constipated doesn't help the nausea at all! so fed up of the constant nausea & lightheadedness, 8+3 today & 10days til booking/scan

Sparklyuggs · 01/01/2017 13:49

Welcome miseltoe and glad your EPU have been taking such good care of you.

Put sorry to hear this, thinking of you.

Hope everyone had a good NYE. My nausea is starting to subside and I'm now 10w+1 so I'm hoping this is the beginning of starting to feel more normal before uni starts again in 11 days.

Going to call on Tuesday about my scan as I've still not had a date yet, apparently they are always slow (I'm not in the UK).

ZigAZigAhh · 01/01/2017 15:01

Happy new year all!

It's honestly "new day, new symptom" at the moment - today's special is very swollen-feeling ladyparts. Every time I sit down I feel as though they're going to pop like a balloon! Not painful but lots of pressure Shock

At least the nausea is taking a backseat (for now anyway).

Lixon · 01/01/2017 16:49

So sorry to hear your news put, thinking of you.

Welcome mistletoe fingers crossed for a smooth run from here, no wonder you've been suffering from anxiety and what a relief seeing that little heartbeat must be!

Heatherbaby · 01/01/2017 17:29

Hi everyone.

Hope you've had a fab xmas and happy new year. Just marking my place here.

Sorry to hear the sad news put.

Hope everyone else is well. I am about as far from well as pregnancy will allow at this stage. 8 + 3 and had the worst cold in the world for the past 4 days so much so I have barely moved from bed. The first two days my morning sickness became constant and I couldn't keep anything down. The sickness has now stopped so I'm hoping it's over tho I do get nausea if I even think about it for a second.

Anyway self pity rant over. I am surprised some of you guys not had the mw appt yet? Mine was now 2 weeks ago and I have had my 3 month scan appt through the post! It's 28 Jan so I'm very excited.

The not telling people thing isn't going so well, most our families know now! Hard to hide it being so sick!

For all the ladies who are also sick, for me and empty stomach makes things a million times worse so try to fill up on anything that u can. In positive news I have lost 7lbs which i am secretly pleased with xx

swimchick1980 · 01/01/2017 17:45

So sorry put :-(.

Mistletoe - sounds like you've had a tough journey, hope it's a smoothe journey this time.

Happy New Year to everyone xx

TeamLentil · 01/01/2017 21:17

Flowers for put.

Welcome mistletoe!

Does anyone know when the boob pain will subside? I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and it's pretty much the only symptom, but it's killing me Confused. I have to sleep with a soft sports bra on!

mistletoeprickles · 01/01/2017 21:51

Thanks everyone I'm hoping it'll go smoothly but ill also take what ever gets thrown at me.

Flowers put

team I still have boob ache too. Worst part is taking my bra off at the end of the day. I'm large chested so usually love taking my bra off. I'm quite impressed with how hard they are!

heather I think or depends on location as to when you get to see the midwife for the first time. Where I am it's 10 weeks but someone I know is 7 weeks.

Anyone suffer with sickness in the afternoons and evenings? I'm finding it tough so think I may see the GP. With DD it was a bit in the morning and done for the day. This time I get it in the morning if I get up too quick then hits hard in the afternoon . Managed to pull a muscle in my back being sick yesterday so that's not helping!

ZigAZigAhh · 01/01/2017 22:15

Mistletoe - ouch, you poor thing!! Definitely see the GP, hopefully they can give you something to help. With DC1 I would always feel far far worse in the afternoons/evenings (usually as I was about to leave work/on my way home). This time round it seems to be a lot more "all or "nothing", i.e. I feel fine all day or I feel atrocious all day!

Team - not sure about the boob ache sorry, for some reason it's the one thing I haven't yet had (it was the same with DC1, my boobs were fine until my milk came in the day after he was born, then my god they were sore) - but I couldn't help but notice we are at exactly the same stage (I'm 7 weeks tomorrow too) Smile

Fattycowagain · 01/01/2017 23:01

I'm out. Lost the baby today.
