So sorry ladies.xx

Waterfeature · 20/01/2017 22:17

Very sorry for your sad news mocha and melons.

Watermelon2016 · 20/01/2017 22:26

I'm so sorry Mocha and Melons. Life can be so cruel sometimes. Look after yourselves and take your time to heal. Xx

Waterfeature · 20/01/2017 22:26

No insomnia here. The opposite I just want to have naps all the time. OTOH I am ancient (44) so that might be why. I'm feeling slightly sick especially after meals but only vomited once. So I'm worried by my lack of symptoms but I was like this with my eldest too. Wibble.

ZigAZigAhh · 20/01/2017 22:29

Melons - so very sorry to hear such sad news Flowers wishing you all the best and sending gentle hugs your way

Timefor2 · 21/01/2017 06:37

Melons and mocha I am so sorry. And miscarriage is cruel but to get all the way to the 12 week scan and find out then with no prior symptoms seems particularly cruel. Flowers

ClaraLane · 21/01/2017 09:45

I'm so sorry to hear that melons and mocha, sending hugs to both of you.

Timefor2 · 21/01/2017 11:23

Not feeling great myself this morning. Had a scan at 9 weeks and all looked great but am worried a bit today - odd aches and pains in the side of my stomach. Hoping it's just carrying my DD1 age 2 around, taking it easy today. Scan is on Thursday, think it'll be a long week.

Fieldandgrasses · 21/01/2017 12:39

So sorry, Melons.

Fieldandgrasses · 21/01/2017 12:39

Very sorry, Mocha.

WantingBaby1 · 21/01/2017 13:25

So sorry for your losses ladies. I hope you've got lots of support at home.

It's such a nerve wracking time, particularly the first 12 weeks. I've my 12 week scan on Wednesday. Feeling OK but obviously nervous. Still lots of pregnancy symptoms but I'm not sure that counts for much when you think of the possibility of a mmc.

SociallyAcceptableCookie · 21/01/2017 13:39

I'm so sorry Mocha and Melons. FlowersFlowers

Blink1982 · 21/01/2017 20:44

Oh crap. Sorry for your news ladies :(

Brainfried1986 · 22/01/2017 10:22

I'm so sorry Melons & Mocha - that must have been devastating to find out, take care of yourselves Flowers

I think my biggest fear at the moment is going for the 12wk scan and finding out that my baby has stopped developing. It's so difficult knowing that there's nothing I can do right now other than keep going day by day and hope that everything is fine. The daily miscarriage odds website is no longer giving me comfort, because I'm now down to the lower chances so it doesn't change day to day anymore. I'm 8+5 today, and don't feel much more confident than 3 weeks ago! But I'm still pregnant & I just have to hang onto that. Broadly speaking I've been really fortunate so far - just occasional bits of spotting which frighten the life out of me. Not much in the way of nausea provided I keep eating (tho I've gained at least 6lbs so far...I know Christmas didn't help, but it's making me worry that I'll have gained a lot more than 2 stone by the time I'm done...). Other than that my boobs are definitely bigger, firmer & more tender. I just long to be a bit further down the line! Having a lovely scan pic and a burgeoning bump will be so nice, scan is 3 weeks tomorrow...

MrsG280516 · 22/01/2017 10:27

Anyone who got their scan date in the post after their booking appointment, how long did the letter take to come?

PancakesAndMapleSyrup · 22/01/2017 10:38

Mocha and Melons Flowers keep thinking positivley, as hard as it is. You will have your bundles unfortunatley at another time. Give yourself time to adjust and feel better. Thinkingnof you both.

Hope all the other ladies are well! Im useless at responding to posts at the moment! Im still continuing to bleed daily so ever since i got pregnant ive bled its vile, a prolonged period! My right side is soooo painful where ive had this massive subchorionic bleed. My two dcs dont know about the pregnancy yet, sickness has been blamed on a bug but they have noticed mums speed of doing things has ground to a halt!

firsttimer12345 · 22/01/2017 10:57

I am really struggling to sleep at the moment. Probably doesn't help that DH is all blocked up with flu as heavy breathing as I am a light sleeper at the best of times.
Popped to the Aldi baby event this morning and managed to get a v shaped pillow for £6 so hoping that might help! Any other tips?!

OkyDoke · 22/01/2017 12:27

MrsG - i had my booking in last wednesday and the letter was through my door on the friday so a very impressive two days for me.

Largemelons · 22/01/2017 13:51

I hope my story hasn't made you all worry more. I can hardly find any stories of people going to their 12 week scan with no bleeding and loads of symptoms and having bad news. Also seeing the hb at 8 weeks is supposed to drop my odds to like 1% or something!
So consider me the 1 in 100. You guys will all be fine.
Remember I have 5 beautiful children already whom I adore and I was being rather greedy really Wink. At least I won't be going to my son's graduation this summer with a giant bump!
I don't think I'll try again. It's taken me 2 years after the last mc to even consider it and this is way worse.
it's ok though. Another baby would have been icing on a perfect cake but I'm so blessed as it is.
Enjoy your pregnancies!

ZigAZigAhh · 22/01/2017 14:14

Oh Melons that made me cry - you're a beautiful soul and I hope your lovely children are a huge source of comfort. Wishing you all the very best Flowers

Catherinebee85 · 22/01/2017 14:26

Melons so gracious. I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't think other children could make it hurt less?

I've got my scan on 3rd Feb when I'll be exactly 12 weeks. I am terrified. Its at 8.40am and bang smack in the middle of a set of 4 x 12.5hr night shifts so unfortunately I'll have a LOT of time to worry!

Pregnancy symptoms have calmed down except still can't drink coffee and my food choices are bizarre. My arse is also getting bigger according to DP. Bloody charming!

OkyDoke · 22/01/2017 16:22

Melons Flowers

WantingBaby1 · 22/01/2017 16:56

melons you have a wonderfully positive attitude and I'm sure we'd all agree you're coping tremendously with what is clearly a very difficult time. Hugs to you and your brood of babies Flowers

Timefor2 · 22/01/2017 18:11

What a positive message Melons, you are very brace Flowers

Waterfeature · 22/01/2017 18:36

Another mother of 5 here melons. You're not greedy. Flowers
