Thanks everyone. Went with the Kite Runner, was fab! Things still not looking much better unfortunately - will try and call tomorrow but signs are not good. Just so devastated after trying for so long. Miracles do happen though Smile - got the BFP in the first place Smile

So sorry to hear others are having a hard time...

It seems to have got worse here I went to the loo earlier and found dark brown gunk mixed with bright red streaks.

It has since slowed down so I'm probably clutching at straws thinking it might be the cervical ectropion I was diagnosed with yesterday and the trauma of the internal exam and scan irritating it. There's absolutely no pain but my boobs aren't sore anymore however I have been feeling nauseous on and off today so maybe just maybe everything is OK.

Everything crossed for tomorrow. Absolutely dreading having to tell everyone at work there won't be a baby after they've been so supportive and congratulatory. I had to tell them as there's certain things I can't do at work when pregnant such as working with infectious patients / manual handling etc.

Thinking of everyone else in a similar situation. It's really crappy!!

Waterfeature · 14/01/2017 23:21

Best of luck to everyone with worrying symptoms. Flowers

Brainfried1986 · 14/01/2017 23:25

Thanks for the comments - I tried to see if I could speak to a midwife but no luck :( I'm going to make sure I get some contact numbers when I have my booking in so I know who I can call if I need to. It would be fine on a weekday as I could get in touch with my gp easily enough.

The bleeding hasn't gotten any worse thankfully - just continued to spot a little, so think things are probably ok. I said to my DH before I left that I would contact a hospital here if I had pain as well as bleeding but otherwise just try to stay calm and take it as it comes. Not fun. Hopefully being in a new city and having rehearsals etc will distract me over the next few days & by the time I get home again I'll be 8 wks & edging closer to my scan. Still keeping fingers and toes firmly crossed!

Kirstyinnorway · 15/01/2017 10:15

Sorry for those of you feeling worried and with all the scary symptoms Flowers

Alphon5e what a time of it you've had. How anxiety-raising for you, I'm so so glad you've had a positive outcome and can maybe start to relax a bit now (hah - says a serial worrier over here) Grin

Sending hugs to everyone.

88claire · 15/01/2017 10:37

I think that's that. Cramping and huge amounts of bleeding. It was really early but still massively upset.

Will still go to the hospital to get the hcg levels but I'm sure what they're going to say.

At least I know I can conceive. Onwards and upwards.

Lixon · 15/01/2017 13:31

So sorry to read this Claire, I'm glad you're going to go and get checked out because sometimes things work out against all odds but equally I know sometimes you just know. I've had 2 miscarriages and know how horrendous it is, particularly after years of TTC but it made me feel a bit better to be told that any miscarriage at this stage is just nature's way of taking care of something that wouldn't work out so it's not due to anything you have or haven't done. Thinking of you and hope the hospital visit isn't too traumatic x

Lixon · 15/01/2017 13:33

And the conceiving naturally thing is a massive bonus, I conceived again 2 months after my last miscarriage (didn't really try the first month) but anecdotally people often seen to be more fertile afterwards. X

swimchick1980 · 15/01/2017 16:41

I'm afraid I'm definitely out now too. Best of luck to you all xx

PancakesAndMapleSyrup · 16/01/2017 00:48

Hi ladies, unfortunatley at 12+3 i am most likley bowing out. Ive had backache all day and this eve much worse. I woke up about 40 mins ago after managing to nap breifly and my legs were soaked. :(
One very sore/painful and upset bunny!

Timefor2 · 16/01/2017 07:05

Oh Pancakes not you too, what a horrible few days for our group Flowers

Kirstyinnorway · 16/01/2017 07:42

Oh no pancakes, you poor thing. I'm wary of giving false hope, and you know how you feel, but my MIL had a horrible bleed at 12+1 (she had to call an ambulance and everything) and her daughter is now 28. They think it was maybe an undiagnosed fibroid. I will keep everything crossed for you.

PancakesAndMapleSyrup · 16/01/2017 08:25

Thanks Time and Kirsty, im off to the epu in a bit as its so painful. However i really dont hold hope as im filling pads fully saturated at a rate of about 1 per hour. Some less some more but small clots are passing too. I knew this prenancy (DC3) felt 'wrong' since about 6 weeks but had just got my head round the 'well i must have been wrong ive hit 12 weeks'. I know these things happen for a reason and for the bes, nature wise but it still bloody hurts emotionally and physically. Gah!

PancakesAndMapleSyrup · 16/01/2017 08:27

Hope the other ladies going through a rough toime too are ok Flowers
And for the rest of you i hope you have lovley gorgeous babies!

Lixon · 16/01/2017 08:30

So so sorry to hear this pancakes, it must have been such an emotional rollercoaster. glad you'll be seen at the EPU this morning and take care of yourself whatever the result Flowers

WantingBaby1 · 16/01/2017 08:46

I'm so sorry ladies. Thinking of you all going through difficult and worrying times Flowers

PollyCazaletWannabe · 16/01/2017 09:17

Sadly I'm out - found out today that I have had a MMC. Baby died at 5 weeks 6 days :( good luck to all of you x
