Mighty I like the look of that cos you use your own actual pillow !

So who is first to get the 20 week scan ? Must be some this week ?

I was struggling with what to get as a pillow. I read HUNDREDS of reviews, and lots said the dream genii ones weren't very good, but I guess everyone is different and you wont know until you try! I've got a wedge one currently, but will definitely be looking for something more full body supporting towards the end, that hopefully will be useful for feeding! Gosh, there really is so much to think about!!

My best friend just told me she's pregnant today, 12 weeks behind me, so I'm very excited today!! Exactly the same age gap between me and her :)

Mighty Lucie that was my second option, I liked the idea of using your own pillow, but picked the other one because you could have it in more positions.

I'm a bit miffed and sleeping to be honest, I've always been really good at it! Now I wake up at least a couple of times in the night and I'm wide awake so that's me for at least an hour.... Must be in preparation like savage said!

Brightsmoke I feel exactly the same about the pillows. There seem to be so many options and reviews, I don't really know what to get!

The pillows are so confusing lol so many different reviews!

I bought one from pregnancypillows.net its fab! So well filled and plump, super comfy! Not too dear either!

My 20 wk scan is on 28th! Can't wait!

I'd love a pregnancy pillow but haven't tried using a standard pillow between my legs yet, so if that doesn't help I'll have to invest. Either that or grab more of the duvet for the same purpose, though that might not be a popular move!

I'm three weeks on Friday for my 20 week scan, but opted for a private gender scan last Friday which was amazing!

Raspberry I'm the same date on scan - feels like so far away...! Have also booked a private one next week as wouldn't be able to relax over xmas otherwise

Anyone else getting movement? Have felt it for about a week so quite early I guess.

I had another private scan on Saturday it was really good to see and like you mighty I felt it would help relax me over Christmas. The baby was very active and kept trying to put its fingers in its mouth but coordination not very good at the moment! She showed us all the ribs, bones, knees, spineetc and we could even see hair starting to grow on its head! Amazing!

Wow, Lucie that sound amazing! My scan is a week tomorrow, very impatient. But relieved it's before Christmas.

I think I'm starting to feel movement now. But I'm a bit worried that I keep thinking it's movement just because I'm so desperate to feel it!

Non alcoholic drinks I'm enjoying : Schwepps tonic water with elderflower and Ocean spray sparkling water with cranberry.

I'm the same MrsJ I keep thinking I've possibly felt some flutters now and again but I also wonder if it's just because I want to feel it. Nothing significant here. Looking forward to the proper kicks starting!

My scan is 2 weeks on Thursday.... trying not to wish the time away because I do want to enjoy Christmas but it's hard.

Definitely feel movement, felt like bubbles for the las week but also starting to feel stronger. Takes me less by surprise now

mighty we've booked a private anomaly scan next week as couldn't wait till Jan and wanted to relax/be excited over Christmas too! Also I will have close family over from abroad then so extra special :)

You could see hair lucie!! That's so amazing sounds like a fab scan.

We heard our little ones heartbeat again this morn, it kept coming and going as I guess it was wriggling about/hiding. Feel more secure about coming off progesterone and aspirin now.

I'm going to have to try the gin substitute! I was out on Friday and Saturday and I got very bored of sparkling water. I am also getting the sore hip thing at night now, such fun this pregnancy lark!

I had my 20 week scan today- I'm 20+4 officially, but the sonographer said I was measuring 20+6, though I expect the date will be kept the same (27th April but planned CS so could be a week before). All is looking good, thankfully, placenta is at the back this time so no worries about it adhering to the scar tissue from previous CS. Feel so relieved and I can relax a bit now. Didn't find out the sex, so team yellow here!

Northern I love the team yellow thing! Perhaps we could add our teams to the lists as we start finding out!?

My 20 week scan is 2 weeks on Friday.
My parents are over for xmas and my mom is going to come with DH and I.
I think shes feeling guilty that she lives round the corner from dsis who is also having a baby so it will be nice for her to feel a bit invloved.
Not finding out the sex.

Hi everyone, first time posting here. #1 due 30th April, but have been following this thread for a while when I still thought I was due in May, so have stayed here instead of switching to the April thread.

I have the dream genii pillow but I prefer it with the long part supporting my back, sometimes with an extra pillow too. I use 2 pillows between my legs and sleep on top of a duvet. Feels a bit like a fortress but am having a lot of trouble with PGP and it's the only way I can get comfortable!

20 week scan on Friday afternoon... nervous and excited!
