Welcome to all newbies :) so many of us!!

Happy Sunday everyone hope you've all had a good weekend. I feel very puffy about the face today - and generally a bit swollen! The evening bloating is back, boobs are still really sore and the tiredness is insane - I sat down to take off my boots last week and fell asleep for 45 minute!

thumbsup amazing about your scan :) so so pleased everything is as it should be!

crombanna · 04/12/2016 11:04

Yo. Checking in. 8+3 today.

Nausea in the morning and late evening. Today - woke up after 8 hours sleep feeling tired! First time I've felt tired from the very beginning of the day! Wonderful. Weeping at Christmas carols; weeping at the very idea of Christmas carols to be honest.

Lovely to hear about other people's bookings and scans going well. And I'm thinking of those who have received bad new. I will be keeping my eyes out for good news from you in future antenatal clubs.

I've got my booking this Friday. I'm really excited - spent (part of) the last 5 years booking other people in and now it's my turn!

AMillionMilesFromThere · 04/12/2016 16:46

Just checking in.

I'm still here but have continued to have light bleeding on and off.

There's been no pain but my breasts seem to have gone back to normal, not sore anymore at all it seems, so I'm not putting my hopes up.

I've had a really busy weekend with the girls and family and since there's been pain I've not had it checked out but will drive myself to EPU tomorrow when they're at school and dh is at work. I don't want any drama if it's a miscarriage.

AMillionMilesFromThere · 04/12/2016 16:47

*since there's been NO pain, that should read

Spindelina · 04/12/2016 19:15

I hope you have a restful night, million, and all the best for tomorrow.

Seahawk80 · 04/12/2016 19:19

Good luck million fx it's ok. Boob pain does come and go and I've had a fair amount of bleeding on and off and all was fine so hopefully no pain is a good sign x

CatRash · 04/12/2016 20:07

Good luck for tomorrow Million. I've had boob pain come and go so wouldn't read into it too much.

I'm currently at the Xmas markets in Prague and have been experiencing excruciating pain in one side of my groin - I've never felt anything like it so assuming it's pregnancy related. It sort of inner thigh / groin area and I can barely walk. Going up stairs is also a nightmare - going down is more bearable.

I feel sorry for my husband - not only am I a non-drinking bore but now I'm hobbling along. I currently feel 82 rather than 28 :(

I've always had funny hips - they sometimes 'pop' out if place during sex and are painful unless I 'pop' it back in.

And my back hurts :(

And I'm only 6+6!! What is wrong with me???!

mamarach26 · 04/12/2016 20:16

Can I join please? I'm a paranoid mess, I have one DS who is two I had been ttc for over 4 months (doesn't sound like a long time but it felt like years) in those 4 months I've had 3 chemical pregnancies each one has been a kick in the teeth but I finally got my BFP last week that stuck! I'm 6w+1day and now worrying about no symptoms, no sickness, not reacting to smells and feel fine apart from fatigue.
Someone talk some sense into me!

Moonbeam2216 · 04/12/2016 20:42

Hi all! Hope you're all well, just quickly popping in. Had another scan today as my early reassurance scan wasn't sure if there was another sac or bleeding. All is well no more shadows in there so just one baby. Measuring as 10 weeks baby was rather content in there amazed at how clear the scan was! Still no symptoms as such, tender boobs on and off, back is aching today but probably just over done it with Christmas shopping! X

GreedyDuck · 04/12/2016 21:25

Aaah, that's a lovely pic Moonbeam!

CatRash sounds like the beginning twinges of PGP/SPD. You need to ask your midwife for a physio referral. I had pretty bad SPD when I was pregnant with my daughter and it can be quite debilitating if you're unlucky. The physio will be able to give you some exercises to do and advice on how to avoid exacerbating it.

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 04/12/2016 21:36

Well this evening I have shouted at DH for buying chocolate cake when I wanted apple crumble (like he was supposed to read my mind?!) and cried because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do next. I am all over the place!

Hope everything is okay million!

Fingers crossed for you too mamarach, I don't have anything to advise but it seems we have all the had the run around with come and go symptoms so I'd try not to read too much in to it (easier said than done I know!).

whyistherumgone · 05/12/2016 00:28

just wanted to say I'll be thinking of you tomorrow amillion I really hope it's good news and like others have said bleeding and the sore boobs going doesn't necessarily mean something bad. Fingers crossed for you in the morning.

cat that sounds so painful and so typical while you're away!

thumbsup I've been a pure delight today as well. Ate loads of junk then cried because clearly I'm
going to be a terrible mother. Couldn't get my jeans done up and then had a few hours of making myself feel awful and teary because I'd decided DH would probably leave me as I'm going to be disgusting and haven't felt like sex since I found out - this is based on NOTHING by the way, DH is lovely and supportive and hasn't uttered a murmur about my needing to be asleep at 9pm every night. I'm now feeling hugely happy but can't sleep. Go figure.
Hormones are really something aren't they!

Moonbeam2216 · 05/12/2016 07:58

Thinking of you today amillion x

DrewOB0 · 05/12/2016 08:12

Morning all! 7+ 1 here.
Still not much sickness but breasts grew 1/2 cup in the last 2 days. I had to ditch my normal bra.

Stuckinstressville · 05/12/2016 09:19

Good luck today million. Will be thinking of you.

I just look fat ( fatter than Normal) wishing I had made some effort to lose baby weight after ds1.... any effort at all! Now my bmi is in the obese range I have to watch so carefully not to put on too much!

Anyone else being a tad careful
Weight wise? I just can't face being heavier than healthy near the end as last time my bump was huge and that was hard work!

But ugh vegetables now taste grim!Grin

Stuckinstressville · 05/12/2016 09:19

That is a good increase! Swish swhooooo!

whyistherumgone · 05/12/2016 09:21

Good luck today million

LuciBee231015 · 05/12/2016 11:35

Good luck million, hope everything is ok. Xx

Spindelina · 05/12/2016 12:01

If I manage to stay pregnant until the end of 2016, I'll have spent more of 2016 being pregnant than not being pregnant. So I'm not sure I can really comment on what not pregnant looks and feels like any more! I was about 10kg lighter this time last year, then put on loads of weight eating to stave off sickness and then eating fuck it cake. I managed to kick the cake habit before I got pg this time round, and I haven't put on any more weight (yet). Aiming for weighing the same amount at 20 weeks as I did in my first pregnancy

  • don't want to have to buy too many new maternity clothes!
DaisyQueen · 05/12/2016 13:41

Can I join? I am 10 weeks and Edd is 4th July. Still waiting on my scan appointment. This will be third baby and we have 2 girls already. Super excited x

DrewOB0 · 05/12/2016 14:07

I had my booking appointment, it was alright, she's nice enough, I'm glad to be out though

CatRash · 05/12/2016 15:02

Thanks GreedyDuck - I think you're right although it does seem too early for that to start setting in but probably having an issue to begin with hasn't helped.

Had sex for the first time since getting BFP today. I assumed it was because I've felt knackered and bloated a lot and OH has been working long hours.

Turns out he thought we couldn't have sex now I was pregnant in case he 'pokes it'. Had to explain that the baby isn't living in my vagina lol. The other day he asked me what they did with umbilical cord after its cut and whether they stuff it back up there.

Good lord...

purplebella · 05/12/2016 15:24

Hi everyone, just checking in!
moonbeam that's a lovely scan pic!
Hope you're feeling well today million
After throwing up twice at work yesterday I am feeling much better todayGrin

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 05/12/2016 15:25

I was wondering if I could pick your collective brains on telling my sister about my pregnancy. She has secondary infertility and has experienced two early losses, I know she is going to find my news quite difficult and I'm dreading telling her to be honest. We don't have the greatest relationship, when I told her about my engagement she shouted at me because she thought I was going to tell her I was pregnant and took weeks to come round. I thought about emailing her but she isn't the emailing type, and I rarely see her alone without my niece and younger sister.

I'm starting to feel really anxious about telling her now!

BeamReach · 05/12/2016 17:27

Gosh, that is a really difficult situation..... Can you enlist one of your other family members to support you (and her)..... All you can do, I think is tell her as gently as you can and weather her emotions (from a distance if necessary) while she works it through (gently reinforcing as needed that you have not done this to hurt her, you know it is hard, you understand she needs time to adjust to the news...)
