Has anyone else had emotions all over the show? I've had the full range of happy, sad, paranoid, jealous, insecure, happy again, bawling my eyes out over adverts or just randomly, and feeling on an even keel for the moment. Poor DH doesn't know what's going on haha.

Welcome to all newbies! :)

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 01/12/2016 07:27

Rum a couple of weeks ago DH was reading the news on his phone instead of washing up, when I 'caught' him I locked myself in the bathroom crying because I assumed he would rather be on his phone than with me so he must be cheating on me! I've never been so irrational or insecure before, that's one of many examples of my hormonal madness!

purplebella · 01/12/2016 07:39

I had to laugh thumbsup and rum! My emotions are all over the place, finding The Big Bang Theory hilarious even though I've already seen them!! Then arguing with OH over something and walking out on him (only for 20 mins!)

Seahawk80 · 01/12/2016 08:08

I wondered why it had gone quiet!! I'm having a symptom related panic - felt great yesterday and so far so good today. No nausea or tiredness. I have my booking on appt later so hopefully the midwife will talk some sense into me!

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 01/12/2016 08:12

Seahawk I think the placenta starts taking over between 9 and 12 weeks so you should start to see a reduction in the intensity of symptoms. At least that's what I'm trying to reassure myself with! I have my booking appointment today too, good luck with yours!

DamsonGinIsMyThing · 01/12/2016 08:19

I've not long since puked into a bush at the side of the road on the way home from my night shift. Managed to give myself a nosebleed at the same time.
Feeling the picture of health this morning Grin

Seahawk80 · 01/12/2016 08:34

Oh no damson you poor thing, bet you can't wait to finish nights!

Just found out one of my bosses is 16 weeks pregnant, we don't work in the same office which is a shame but it's nice to know someone above me knows what I'm going through. We had a good bonding session last night at a work event over a bottle of sparkling water, we're both worriers who are prone to a panic Google! Grin

Seahawk80 · 01/12/2016 08:34

And thanks thumbs good luck too!

DrewOB0 · 01/12/2016 08:45

Morning all!
6+ 4 here, still no sickness to speak of, just terrible back ache and a few pains in breasts. The lack of symptoms is so stressful!

whyistherumgone · 01/12/2016 08:46

Seahawk I hate those kind of symptom related worries - I was 6 weeks when I had my booking in appt and talked at length to my midwife about my fears, lack of symptoms etc and she was really
helpful. I hope it puts your mind at rest.

Damson poor you! What a start to the day. Bet you're counting down the hours til you're not on nights any more - I don't know how you've done it!

Thanks thumbsup and purple you both sound exactly like me. One minute I'm my normal, relaxed, level headed self and the next minute a hormone crazed mad woman has taken over!

whyistherumgone · 01/12/2016 08:50

missed your post drew I'm 7+1 and exactly the same. Just tired, bit emotional, sore boobs and feeling different although I can't explain how exactly. No sickness or even feeling sick apart from the occasional bout of gagging. I spoke to my midwife about lack of symptoms and she really wasn't concerned at all she said it's about a 50-50 split in the sickness stakes, that I should just try and enjoy it as it may well crop up later when I'm
not expecting it.

I know what you mean though it feels like EVERYTHING is cause for
concern.

Happy 1st December everyone, time feels like it's going really quickly now. Only a few weeks til
my first scan I am so so so so incredibly nervous and anxious about it!

DrewOB0 · 01/12/2016 10:09

So, how early would anyone wear a baby on board badge? 12 weeks?

Seahawk80 · 01/12/2016 10:24

I've already got one drew some evenings I can barely stand!! I'm really paranoid that someone at work will see me though so I tend to take it off the second I get off the tube - then I worry that people will think I'm a fake Confused

mummycaitlin · 01/12/2016 10:29

chunder please don't worry about your weight and it affecting your pregnancy. A bmi of your is literally on their markers for any extra eyes being kept on, which is anything above 30. They only thing they'll really do extra is the gestational diabetes test and you might get a leaflet about healthy eating. I had a bmi of 34 with my last pregnancy and had a healthy baby and pregnancy with no GD. This time my bmi is 33. When I had my booking in appointment she didn't even click the obese box on the system in the additional concern but as it was only people with a bmi over 35.

AMillionMilesFromThere · 01/12/2016 10:29

Oooh there you all are !

5 + 6 here ... still no sickness ... trying not to worry!

Where's my fellow farter ? Xmas Grin

Dd2's birthday today , she's 4

Bloopbleep · 01/12/2016 10:49

Can I ask an embarrassing question? Has anyone else found their BO has ramped up to super tramp level? Honestly I'd shame someone who had never washed in 20years with my stench. And I'm washing my pits twice daily. It's really not helping with the nausea :(

whyistherumgone · 01/12/2016 11:48

Fellow farter reporting for duty amilion Grin surely it has to stop sometime soon?!

Popularcontrarian · 01/12/2016 11:53

Hi girls, hope the vom-attacks aren't too bad for everyone.
I'm still in that awful state of 'ugh I feel terrible I'm definitely pregnant', to 'jesus christ I feel fine, I must be mc-ing!!!!' ad infinitum. I've driven myself bonkers.

I have my booking in appointment tomorrow which will also include a dating scan. Only one more sleep...

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 01/12/2016 12:10

Bloop do you think you might be oversensitive to the smell rather than its increased or different?

Amillion the gas is horrendous! I can't stop burping or farting! DH started off impressed now I think he is getting sick of my long strings of belching! Gas pains are getting uncomfortable too. But bizarrely I feel like this is one of the most tangible symptoms I have so not complaining too much.

Seahawk80 · 01/12/2016 12:11

Bloop I feel like I smell more - but then I wonder if it's just my super sense of smell!! Maybe we always smell this bad!

Just had my booking on appt, midwife was lovely and put my mind at rest about my missing symptoms and my fear of stillbirth. I'm such a worrier. Have a scan as part of the harmony test a week today and then 12 week scan a week later. So it's like a scan a week and I know I'll still panic in between!!

Popularcontrarian · 01/12/2016 12:31

People are so stinky, I can smell them a mile off. It could be perfume, a person's breath, unwashed hair, smell of spices, garlicky smell, the toilets in work (mingin, like public loos). Gross, gross gross. I normally have a very good sense of smell but it's definitely exaggerated at the moment and makes me feel queasy.

And there are loads of smokers outside the front of our building at work and I have to hold my breath when I pass them, yuck!

Hey all!

For those of you wondering about sickness, mine started at 6+5, I'm now 9+5 and it's still here. Bad in the mornings then kind of goes from 12-4ish then it's back again for the evening... I'm really hoping that I'm getting close to the point that it's supposed to stop. I need to feel healthy again!

Got my booking appointment tomorrow. My 12 week scan is booked for 15th Dec, 2 weeks to go!!

AMillionMilesFromThere · 01/12/2016 14:15

whyistherumgone so good to here you are still thriving Grin

Yes! I am stinky! Not only from the bottom end but also from the pits !! It's like constant PMS week. I'm really paranoid about bad smells (always have been!) though so I am sure I am all fresh smelling to other people Grin she says hopefully I also have two small children to blame the farts on when I do let rip ... poor kids Grin
