Sun I got my notes during the booking appointment. The midwife did request to have them back the next day at the surgery and I picked them up 1 week later at my local surgery reception. Call your midwife number and find out when you should have them. I had further notes/stickers added to my notes during the scan appointment.

Sea I am in the same position. I am at the point now where most symptoms have stopped. I have had terrible migraines over 5 days which made me nervous as I had a migraine 3 days before miscarriage last time. No more headaches today so I am telling myself that it was the Xmas hosting stress. I have also had a few cramps but I can't really say whether they it is a poo or something elseBlush. The excitement of the 12wk scan has definitely worn off and the worry is back. 20 week scan on 10th Feb. That is so in the future! I might break and pay for another private scan.

12 week scan yesterday and everything seams to be ok 😀 EDD changed to 11 July though if someone could update my info in the list?

Still feeling sick, and occasionally being sick, but had a very quiet Christmas so not as tired as I was....fingers x'd it lasts....

Bawbles · 29/12/2016 12:22

We have a lovely healthy baby however scan was a washout. My uterus is tilted backwards so they struggled to view baby at first plus the baby never stopped wriggling, turning and stretching. It took ages to get measurements and the photos were rubbish.

Dates were only a couple of days off my own though which is reassuring for growth

Great news about scans wild & bawbles!!

My scan was a faff too bawbles, baby had its chin on its chest and arm over its head so took ages to get measurements while they sent me for a walk/do half a wee/jiggle about/eat some chocolate??! To get the baby to move!

Bawbles · 29/12/2016 13:33

I had to go walkabout too Rhodes, had a bottle of water and a hot chocolate but baby was doing gymnastics and never stopped moving. My notes state 'technically very difficult scan with suboptimal imagining due to uterine lie and persistent fetal lie'
It was cute seeing baby waving arms, stretching and doing flips though

wildone81 · 29/12/2016 13:34

Spud didn't cooperate at all... had to go and eat something sweet and get them to have another shot once the sugar kicked in, and then it was dancing too much! Just managed to get the measurements they needed though.

Finding it very odd that there's something jigging about in there that I can't feel....

Lallypopstick · 29/12/2016 14:23

My scan is tomorrow. So nervous now. Has anyone had to pay for photos? I'm sure I heard that people have had to pay at my hospital, but I don't know. I'll take some money anyway.

wildone81 · 29/12/2016 14:30

We got three for free...Scotland with NHS Lothian

Bawbles · 29/12/2016 14:32

Lally our photos should be £4 each but they didn't charge me as they were all rubbish

Notyetthere · 29/12/2016 14:35

Lally my hospital ask for a donation but you don't have to. You still get the photos.

Babbles and Wildone glad your scans went well. I will update the list with your new EDDs.

About to leave for my scan in a bit, trying not to get anxious! The leaflet my midwife gave me said the scan photos are £15!!!!!! I paid £10 three years ago with my son and thought it was expensive then!

Those that are having fewer symptoms currently, try not to worry as it's down to the placenta taking over. The second trimester will be soooooo much better. It's hard when the baby's not big enough to feel or have a bump yet but you're feeling better!

Harvestwidow · 29/12/2016 23:48

Lally I had my 1st scan today and photos were £4 each, northeast England, I didn't buy any as the nurse said from my scan I only looked 10+3 so going back in a fortnight for another scan and the tests.

mummycaitlin · 30/12/2016 08:48

My scan was all fine but only 11w so have to come back next week for proper measurements and blood tests, which is fine as I get to see the baby again. She gave us a free photo as they weren't very clear and I certainly wants going to pay £15! (Although she said it would be for a set not just one next time). The baby waved at us and did a full flip which was cute to see.

My back's gone the last few days which is really painful, it's hard to rest with a 3 year old!

rhodes2015 · 30/12/2016 13:03

Glad your scan went well mummy, I had the same except I was 10 weeks so had to go back 2 weeks later! But like you say, least you get to see the baby again! That's good you get a set of photos. We had to pay the £4 for the 1 and considering how good we could see the baby on the screen the actual photo that she took isn't really that clear.

Notyetthere · 30/12/2016 13:21

Mummy and Harvest glad your scans went well. It seems to be different in trusts.

Despite my concerns with whether everything is alright with baby, I cracked and bought some baby clothes in the boots clearance sale.
I bought a unisex long sleeved bodysuit, a short sleeved rainbow bodysuit and a pair of socks - all for £7! I will stop myself there and maybe start again after the 20 wk scan.

Lovely scan pictures Bawbles!! Must admit I'm slightly jealous of everyone's scans....I've still got 17 days till my one and only scan of the 1st trimester and it's dragging!!

Not yet there bargain!!! I caved today and bought a few unisex bits and pieces too. I blame the influence of my SIL who I was shopping with. This is why I don't want to know the sex as I will end of buying shed loads!!

I've had excruciating headaches for the past couple of days and can hear the blood pounding in my ears whenever I move. Ugh.

LuciBee231015 · 30/12/2016 18:43

Hi ladies, lovely to hear everyone is good and scans are going well. I'm 15 weeks today. Feel totally normal apart from the odd headache. No idea how I will cope going back to work next week with no mid afternoon naps tho!

I have my next appointment with midwife on 20th Jan, and she said she would listen to the heartbeat then. Can't wait. I do feel a bit weird not to have any symptoms now whatsoever... It's nice it a bit scary at the same time! Oh I have been getting lower back pain on the right when moving around which is really annoying.

What's everyone's plans for new year? We're having a quiet one at home with a takeaway and some movies I think.

DaisyQueen · 30/12/2016 18:44

Had my scan and bloods done today. Baby is fine and was jumping all over and being a real pain when the sonogropher was trying to get measurements. My Edd is 2/7/17. My 2 dd's are over the moon, the eldest (6) is hoping for a brother so she doesn't have to share Grin

rhodes2015 · 30/12/2016 19:08

Great news about your scan daisy!
Luci/cat, I'm also having headaches. Sometimes waking up with one! But other than that feel normal.
bloods came back in the post from my scan today and it's come back low risk. And also in today's post was an appointment with a consultant on 26jan which will be to do with the lletz treatments I had but no info on there if it will be a scan or anything? But seeing midwife on 18jan so will ask her then.
luci, we are having a quiet night in too tomorrow! DH wants to make mini burgers?? Sounds like too much of a faff so think I will be suggesting a takeaway too!

Seahawk80 · 30/12/2016 20:31

I had another scan today as I was bleeding yet again. Baby is fine which is the main thing. Just getting really fed up with the bleeding, they don't know what causes it but at least it was all ok and baby is still in there!

Still zero symptoms here!

Notyetthere · 30/12/2016 23:18

Cat amen to bargains! I still intend to find out the sex though, hope I can have better control next time.

I too have had headaches over the Xmas break but they eventually subsided yesterday. They have now been replaced by heartburn and mild nausea. And the spitting is back.

Luci I'm also meeting my midwife on 20th Jan. I don't know if she will listen to the heartbeat. I hope so. As for new year, we were invited to go out with friends but I am not going. DH will join them and I will stay at home with my brother, takeaway and generally take it easy.

Daisy glad your scan went well.

Rhodes off to google what a lletz is Blush

Sea I'm glad baby is ok. It is worrying though. Please take it easy.

rhodes2015 · 31/12/2016 08:29

Ha Not, sorry I've become a bit desensitised to the word lletz I presume everyone will know what I mean.... I had stage 1a1 cervical cancer when I went to get my 1st smear at 25 (6years ago) but was really lucky to just have the cells taken away with 2 lletz treatments - (large loop excision of the transformation zone) but it can shorten your cervix I think but it's dead common lots of people get it done for pre-cancerous cells. When you have it done they just warn you It could result it miscarriage/premature birth & some people have a cervical stitch put in if cervix is short but I read lots of ladies on here who had lletz and they've not had a problem so I'm hoping it will be fine.

Lallypopstick · 31/12/2016 15:37

I had my 12 week scan yesterday. All good, though the little one didn't want to move for the neck measurement. Got to get bloods done on Monday and I already have a date for my next scan. Oh and my photos were free - should've been £2 each but she gave me them free "because it's Christmas" - so nice. Paid it forward by leaving someone a generous tip at lunch today.

It's completely sunk in for me now that there's a tiny person in there, but it still hasn't for OH. Anyone else's partner similar?

Seahawk80 · 31/12/2016 16:02

I've not bought anything much for the baby as I'm so superstitious but there was a really good offer at www.moribaby.com where you get £20 off if you spend £40 and also free delivery if your total order is over £30. I only just ordered it so can't comment on the quality but it looks lovely

Seahawk80 · 31/12/2016 16:03

Ps Rhodes that must have been such a shock at 25.
