Picture from the test taken at the GP. The one he first thought was negative. Seems like my gp doesn't often do tests, as he tried to read the results when the wee was still travelling up the strip. It takes a minute or two, silly male person!
He did agree with me when I pointed out the stripe after a couple of minutes, though!

Clear line again! ...silly doctor

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 10/12/2016 08:17

Definitely a clear line on both tests!

10Betty10 · 10/12/2016 09:58

Perhaps time to ask for a different doctor! Clearly pregnant! (I always ask for a female doctor, they seem so much more together!)

DrewOB0 · 10/12/2016 16:44

Hello all, back from scan. A heartbeat was found, but baby measuring small. All going well, new adjusted EDD is 02 August.

Bawbles · 10/12/2016 16:56

I'm another July, EDD 8th July.

I also have a 10yo so big age gap.

DaisyQueen · 10/12/2016 17:30

My back is absolute agony today. I'm limping like an old lady and it's not letting up whichever way I sit, stand or lay down. I feel utterly miserable :(

BeamReach · 10/12/2016 17:37

Great news Drew!

mummycaitlin · 10/12/2016 19:49

Great news drew, and that's my birthday! I think it's hard for them to get accurate measurements when it's so teeny tiny

rhodes2015 · 10/12/2016 23:55

Brilliant news drew!

Seahawk80 · 11/12/2016 08:37

How is everyone today? I woke up with awful stomach cramps which was terrifying but I think (hope) it was just wind! Feeling much better now Blush

purplebella · 11/12/2016 09:00

Morning seahawk! I just had my morning (decaff) coffee and threw it all back up again!Sad Other than that, everything's good thanksGrin

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 11/12/2016 09:08

Morning all, hope everyone is doing okay! I've been suffering with pain in my hip joint for the last couple of days, I'm hoping it's not a sign of things to come! I'm seeing my midwife in two weeks so I'll make sure I mention it then.

OohNoDooEy · 11/12/2016 09:09

Morning. My spotting has now stopped. I have a uti. GP wouldn't refer me to the epu as I have a scan on the 19th anyway and the outcome will be the same... going to be a long week.

Seahawk80 · 11/12/2016 09:31

Good luck ohno feels like early pregnancy is just a series of dragging waits. Glad the spotting has stopped, that's a good sign so try not to worry too much (so much easier said than done)

LuciBee231015 · 11/12/2016 13:14

I've had right sided lower back pain for the past few days. Hurts when I walk, when I get up from sitting, roll over in bed... Lovely!

Still feeling sick in the mornings too.

Got my scan on Thursday, can't wait, feeling really nervous!

CatRash · 11/12/2016 13:22

Great news Drew!! And good to hear the spotting has stopped Ooh!

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow so we're telling our parents and SIL today. My husband wanted 'grandparents to-be' cards but I couldn't find such a thing so we bought Xmas cards and I added the 'to-be' myself - I think they look quite good!

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 11/12/2016 13:34

Thats how we told ILs catrash, with a scan picture inside and signed from the baby. It took them a couple of minutes to work it out!

Spindelina · 11/12/2016 13:38

Really stressed about my next scan on Thursday. Find myself wishing that I had more symptoms to convince myself things will be different this time around. Only four more days. Then three weeks until 12 weeks and hopefully a sigh of relief.

wildone81 · 11/12/2016 14:25

Anyone else completely floored with exhaustion? Have slept for 12 hours past 4 nights and could still sleep now :( feels like I'm recovering from flu, if that makes any sense...

Penny85 · 11/12/2016 15:03

Hi everyone, I haven't posted on here in a while but I have been reading everyday- I hope that everyone is keeping themselves well. catrash I love the cards- we are doing this with our family too but waiting for Christmas day. spindelina I am having very few symptoms too and had an early 9.2 week scan yesterday and we heard a heartbeat, baby was sleeping so no movement but still great to see.

Lallypopstick · 11/12/2016 15:36

Wildone I had about 12 hours sleep last night and then a couple of hours this afternoon. All I want to do is sleep, it's ridiculous.

Totally agree Seahawk that early pregnancy is a series of dragging waits. Since I had my early scan, time has slowed right down. Midwife appointment in a week, so that might feel like stuff is happening. Then another wait until the 12 week scan! At least after that I'll feel properly pregnant and hopefully will have a bit more energy too!

Anyone here doing antenatal classes? Think I'm going to sign up.

TinklingTheIvories · 11/12/2016 15:44

Lally - I'm thinking of doing classes, just waiting to move first. Thinking of aqua-natal and pregnancy yoga too. Both are not far from where I'm moving to, just need to move!!

Also thinking of going for an early scan just to check it's all ok. I've found a place locally that does them, and have sent an enquiry email. Hoping to get in before Christmas. Get 4 copies of the scan pic so parents can have copies (except they won't know we've gone for an early scan, so that'll be a nice surprise at Christmas if we get them)

rhodes2015 · 11/12/2016 15:49

Lovely scan pic penny!
After a week of feeling back to normal (ish) I feel like shit again today!
I'm starving hungry all the time but don't fancy anything, it's so frustrating! And yes wildone, so tired! It's 15:50 and I've actually got in bed and staying here now!

Seahawk80 · 11/12/2016 16:31

Lovely pic penny

cat I just got cards too, seeing my family for my birthday on Sunday next week so giving them all the cards then. I couldn't find any auntie and uncle cards in any of my usual shops but went to clintons and they cover everything - even to my mother in law and her husband!!
