I'm 10+6 today and feel like it's going to be a real milestone tomorrow hitting 11 weeks! Wonder how many weeks they will put me at when I have the scan next week tho... Hopefully not too far backwards I want to hurry up and get it out in the open!
Mat ill feeling nausea bad in the mornings, but lasts all day. Fingers crossed it wears of very soon, I've had a solid 4 weeks of it now!

My boobs haven't hurt in about 4 weeks either, they just look big and veiny 🙈

Hope everyone is good, happy Friday x

CatRash, I kept having negatives, so decided to give the gp a ring about the AWOL period. Peed in a pot the morning of the appointment and put a test in, just to be prepared when he suggested taking a test. To my utter astonishment, the test came up positive. The gp did one as well, which was negative right afterwards, but came up positive after a minute or 2 (test should be read after 3 minutes, so that's a positive).
Gp was confused and told me to go for a scan at the hospital. I suggested I just contact the midwife, as she is way closer and according to last period I would be 8 weeks by now. Midwife will see me next Tuesday.
I could have gone to hospital today, but that would involve taking time off at work at really short notice. Not ideal when you are a teacher!

Fattycowagain · 09/12/2016 10:34

Also, can anyone remind me how to post pictures? I want to show you my tests, which are 'faint' according to the gp...

LuciBee231015 · 09/12/2016 10:45

There is a paper clip icon under the box where you write your message, click on that and you should be able to attach a pic x

Fattycowagain · 09/12/2016 11:00

This is the one I took at home.

Well there's Defo a line! You should get one of the first response ones from boots or super drug, they give the clearest lines. When I first got my bfp, it was a fainter line than that! And when I did my second week of the day on the first response one it was so clear.

A line is a line!

Fattycowagain · 09/12/2016 11:54

There is no Boots or Superdrug here. And a line is a line, a test will not show as positive if there is no HCG in the urine. I'll take a pic of the one the gp did later on and post that as well.

LuciBee231015 · 09/12/2016 13:10

Like you say, a line is a line! So congrats! 👏🏻

Maybe do another one in a couple of days and it should get darker.

Fattycowagain · 09/12/2016 13:55

I have a scan on Tuesday, so I'll do another one that morning and see what the scan says. I really hope I get to stay in this club, as you are a friendly bunch!

OohNoDooEy · 09/12/2016 15:21

I'm having some spotting today and really struggling to do anything resembling work this afternoon. Got the GP after work but don't suppose they'll do anything. Just hoping that this isn't game over for me Sad

Stuckinstressville · 09/12/2016 15:31

sad news ladies.. i popped to the EPU this morning as i had a lot of pain on my right hand side low down, they did the old dildo scan thing, and i ought to be 8 weeks now, bean measured less than 5 weeks, seems non viable and not growing. Back for a follow up in two weeks, 24th Dec, but prognosis is not positive, been told to let nature take the lead, so unless a small miracle happens, am back to TCC in the new year. Currently i am numb but holding DS1 tightly.

I wish you well in your journeys! much love
x

Stuck Flowers.

Been there (well, it was at my 12 week scan, but similar findings - there was no way I was only 5 weeks pregnant). Be kind to yourself.

LuciBee231015 · 09/12/2016 17:00

So sorry stuck 💐

Chunder · 09/12/2016 17:38

So sorry stuck Flowers

I've been cramping and spotting yesterday and today. I don't know what to do.

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 09/12/2016 17:52

Sorry for your news stuck, look after yourself! Flowers

Popularcontrarian · 09/12/2016 18:13

I'm sorry to hear that stuck, take care of yourself.

Fattycow, have a read of the hook effect. I did a test a while ago and freaked that it was really light. I diluted my wee (I know, mingin) and then got a really dark test. So strange.

Seahawk80 · 09/12/2016 18:25

So sorry stuck

chunder and ohnoo hope you're both ok too. If there is an epu near you the local a&e should be able to refer you even at the weekend. I've had so many cases of spotting and so far it's always been ok so fx it is the same for you. Any blood is so scary though. Thinking of you both Flowers

purplebella · 09/12/2016 18:45

That's such sad news stuck, good luck for the future xx

I've never had spotting in any of my pregnancies so I also wish you well chunder and oohno.

So today I didn't feel right at all at work... then farted and was right as rain!!!Blush

DrewOB0 · 09/12/2016 18:55

Early scan ( 8 weeks) tomorrow. I'm absolutely petrified that something is wrong. Got palpitations and the shakes :(

CatRash · 09/12/2016 19:10

Stuck so sorry to hear that - my thoughts are with you and your family.

Chunder and Ooh - I can only echo Seahawk said about the EPU. There's been a few people on here with spotting and it doesn't always end badly so keep thinking positively!

Thumbs I'm glad it's not just me!!! I've had many an 'uhhhhh' moment. A lot of walking into rooms with no idea why too...

Fatty will be interesting once you have a scan then to find out your due date - must be frustrating not knowing!

purplebella · 09/12/2016 21:07

Good luck for tomorrow drew

rhodes2015 · 09/12/2016 21:08

So sorry to hear that stuck. Flowers

Drew, aww I felt like that at my scan on Wednesday, physically couldn't string a sentence together before I went in. I hope everything goes ok tomorrow, let us know how you get on! X

10Betty10 · 09/12/2016 22:40

Know this might sound weird, but does anyone else feel like their torso has turned into a 'trunk' shape?! I'm a 10/12 with quite a small waist and quite wide/clear shape to my hips (I have a little pouch of chub- also known as my 'winter warmer') normally.

However, although I know I'm not actually showing (am only 8-9 weeks) my torso looks like a tree trunk!!! Is this normal?!

AMillionMilesFromThere · 09/12/2016 23:46

Oh stuck so sorry to hear your news my love. Please look after yourself and all the best for the new year xxx Flowers

To all the other girls who are spotting ; please don't worry. Last weekend I started bleeding from Friday evening through till Monday morning and by the time I walked in to the EGU (called the Emergency Gynacology Unit around here) , I had convinced myself that I was mis carrying. I wasn't ! Xmas Smile

was 7 weeks today .. nausea is kicking in... and I've been in bed for majority of the week with a horrid bug. Appetite has completely gone ! Have gone off tea and I'm a massive tea drinker but going off it can only be a good thing!

I've also started looking at pajamas online the way I usually look at day clothes - a sure sign I'm preggers Xmas Wink

Fattycowagain · 10/12/2016 00:24

stuck, I'm so sorry to hear your news... as others have said: be kind to yourself!
