Love all the scan pics this week. I've moved from counting down the days, to counting down the hours to mine (37, actually!) Luckily I have a very busy day tomorrow to distract me and might have an early night tonight

Oh oliversmummy how frightening for you. Do you have any cramping with the bleeding? That was usually a sign for me-with DD, I had bleeding but no period pain like cramps, so I am very hopeful for you ((((((hugs))))))

I feel like I've hit a milestone!! I'm 12 weeks today! We're telling the rest of the family and friends the weekend... Yikes it suddenly seems real now.

This week is dragging for me. I'm hoping the results come back on Friday so we don't have to wonder/worry over the weekend. Plus it's DP's birthday, feel awful as he's said he doesn't want to do anything with this hanging over us.

Still getting blood and clots when I wipe but only a couple of spots on a liner. No pain so hoping that's a good sign.

Hi all! Can I join?? I didn't join one of these threads with my first and always regretted it, it would be nice to share the journey with people in the same position! I had a scan last week, but baby was a bit awkward so the dates might not be accurate! Currently down as due on 4th June! Hope you're all feeling ok!

Just spoke to my mum and she's offered to buy my double pram!! I did warn her of the cost but she has insisted!
Off to dr for a medication review now, bit silly but guess the paperwork has to be done.

I wish I knew when my scan is scheduled. I'm 10 +6, saw the midwife this time last week. She did say the scan could be between 12-14.weeks, but it feels so late compared with people on here. I dont even have an appointment yet.

I'm glad I had a private scan last week, as it sounds like it might be a while. I mean, I assume they'd give some notice in the letter?

blue I only saw my midwife for my booking in last week when I was 10+5 and I got my scan appointment through yesterday and I will be 13+1 by the time I have the scan. Some people do seem to have had their scans at 11 ish weeks but there are a few of us who are lagging significantly behind. The waiting is horrible.

Oh, btw, is anyone else less hungry than before pregnancy? Whist I have my ravenous moments. I've noticed I'm actually eating less than normal. I'm struggling with full meals, and just don't think of grazing. The Other day I had a small lunch and left half my dinner, and that was is. I couldn't face any more food!!

I'm still quite queasy, but that has eased a but, but even in my non queasy moments I have to push myself to eat most of the time.

It seems so different from everyone else's experience.

Six, glad to know I'm not the only one. If it wasn't for the private scan, hearing the heartbeat etc, I'd be half convinced there's nothing there. It looks like my scan might be the week of Christmas then. I need to know asap so I can try and sort arrangements for work.

Yes blue my appetite has been very reduced and I have lost half a stone as a result. I'm trying to eat but feel full very quickly or just cant face eating at all. I'm hoping things are starting to pick up though as I have been managing a bit more food in the last 48 hours.

Feel full of cold here so stayed off work today, didn't feel like struggling into work which would only make me feel worse. I know a day or so off will clear of up quicker!

Work trip over, absolutely shattered and now sat at the airport waiting in flight number 1. Hoping to be home by 9pm, but I'm concerned I might fall asleep and miss a flight 😂

I have my scan tomorrow, I'll be 12+4. I've not had an early scan, and despite being really excited about this appointment, I'm really starting to worry that there's nothing in there and I've just gotten fat 😳

Looking forward right after the scan, so I can hopefully relax and start getting properly excited!

Bluesky I don't even have my booking in appointment until 12+4 !!!! Midwife has requested my scan date though so should have that letter before I meet the midwife. Crazily late though! It's annoying isn't it!?

I got my Iona results back today. Less than 1 in a million risk on the three trisomies. Definitely one less thing to worry about!

Bad news I'm afraid, baby stopped growing at 8 weeks and the very lovely sonographer couldn't find a heartbeat.
Going back for a D&C tomorrow, heart broken but have had a Brie panini to cheer myself up and ready to pick ourselves up and start again once it's all over.
