Pleased to hear it went well six!

catlady15 · 12/12/2016 15:55

That's great news six! Enjoy your shopping Smile

Blueskyrain · 12/12/2016 15:55

Scan went well, measuring a few days ahead, so now am 13 weeks.

I'm having quite a team helping me (some genetic stuff that needs keeping an eye on, plus a severe needle phobia), but everyone is being very supportive and lovely. I'm really impressed with the NHS at the moment.

Great news bluesky, lovely scan pic! Glad you are getting proper sort too.

Can't wait for this time tomorrow when the waiting game will be over for me.

MoonlightMojitos · 12/12/2016 17:18

Wow reindeer what a shock!!! Let us know when you've told dp!

Congrats on the scans six and bluesky!

catlady I told everyone after the scan. To be fair most people close to me friends and family knew anyway so it was just colleagues. I wouldn't have minded them knowing even if the results came back differently anyway. So depends how you would feel about telling people if you're odds cane back high risk? Fx for tomorrow for you.

LemonPoppySeedMuffin · 12/12/2016 19:18

Glad the scans went well blue and six - and congratulations to the poster having triplets! What a big surprise!

We started telling people after our scan, but as we see them, so haven't told everyone yet! I've told my department at work but not my other colleagues or the students (I'm a secondary school teacher) - won't be long before they guess though, I suddenly have a proper little bump now! Wearing maternity trousers/skirts/tights etc as my normal ones are too tight now!

I've just realised that now I have moved forward a few days based on my scan I am officially on the 2ns trimester. It feels like a huge milestone 😁

MoonlightMojitos · 12/12/2016 19:38

six this is where it's supposed to get better isn't it? I'm in bed already now at 7.30 and have indigestion 😂

haveacupoftea · 12/12/2016 19:42

I had to go for a nap between 4.30 and 6.30! The 2nd trimester is overrated IMO! 15+3 Xmas Grin

haveacupoftea · 12/12/2016 19:44

And thats not to mention round ligament pain and lightning boobs!

Mommytobe2017 · 12/12/2016 20:06

Hi everyone, sorry for being MIA for ages. I've been on the FB page though.

Heaved when Brushing my teeth this morning. I thought nausea was supposed to have passed now. Sad

I've been having what I now know to be round ligament pain. Especially during the night

Snowdrop2016 · 12/12/2016 20:34

I have just looked up about round ligament pain and it seems it is often worse on the right and when coughing or twisting, in that case it seems that's what I've been getting too!

I finally told work today, my boss was v pleased for me which was lovely. I'd been dreading it.

Who is it I message to join the Facebook group?

Masweetpea1 · 12/12/2016 20:49

15+1 today and started being sick again on Saturday. Rubbish morning sickness.

I also have a cold and sneezing /coughing hurts my ligaments. I'm off to bed to mope!!

LorrieJ · 12/12/2016 20:50

Congratulations Reindeer! A photo of DP's face the moment he finds out would be excellent for your triplets 18th birthday!

VeganMama83 · 12/12/2016 21:56

Thanks everyone for the extra congrats! Congrats to you all! I'll definitely be capturing OH's reaction on camera (hopefully videoGrin). Just waiting for the perfect time when we are alone not easy with other DC runningaround. Still feel like I need to make the announcement more exciting, not that triplets aren't bloody dramatic enough!

I'm still exhausted and nauseous too Sadworked from home in bed todayXmas Hmm hope you're all feeling better than I am

LootTheRoom · 12/12/2016 22:15

Long time lurker first time poster...thanks to everyone for the 3AM reading material! Love seeing all the scan pics coming through.
12+3 and went for my scan today so relieved to see a baby in there as I was feeling so well I was concerned!

NappingRabbit · 12/12/2016 22:30

Wow triplets reindeer! Huge congratulations!

Glad to hear lots more happy scan news - good luck to those with theirs tomorrow.

We started telling people after the scan (but we got our screening results at the scan so didn't have a wait for these). I haven't told anyone at work yet but am trying to see if I can track down my boss this week to tell him as I've got to take next Thursday afternoon off for my 16 week appointment, and I really don't want to show up after Christmas and my holiday with an obvious bump having not told him yet.

mommytobe brushing my teeth makes me heave, I brush in the shower in the morning and the other day I was literally sick in the shower Blush thank god my stomach was empty!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 13/12/2016 06:09

Yes, it's supposed to get better now moonlight but I still have queasiness and an up and down appetite and I still can't eat any chicken or meat. These symptoms only lasted 12 weeks with my other pregnancies so I expected to be over it by now. And to top it off I am now needing the toilet constantly 😂

Sundaygal · 13/12/2016 06:40

It's been a while since I last posted but have been following along with the ups and downs of everyone's journeys.

I had my dating scan yesterday and all looks good. So happy to see our little one waving its arms and even saw him sticking his tongue out! So amazing the details already.

After the scan I went for my review and to have bloods taken and mentioned pain in my leg when I stand or walk. They did a quick check then got me to get my leg scanned. They found a major clot so am now admitted to hospital... Talk about an emotional roller coaster day! I'm just happy baby is good for now.

MrsPotatoHead80 · 13/12/2016 06:55

Oh Sunday sorry to hear you're in hospital. Get well soon lovely xx

catlady15 · 13/12/2016 07:02

Ooh, good you got that checked out Sunday! Congratulations on the scan news. Welcome loottheroom and congratulations to you too!

I've started waking up in night with fidgety legs. Found the best way to get back to sleep is to go downstairs and have a little cycle on my exercise bike for a few minutes! I tried to do some yoga at 3am last night and the cat came and sat on my back mid pose. Not quite so relaxing! Now counting down the hours until scan time Xmas Confused

Sundaygal · 13/12/2016 07:47

Thanks!
What time is your scan at Catlady? Exciting and nerve wracking!! Keep up your exercises, keep those legs moving.... These compression tights are 'lovely' but I wouldn't wish them on anyone! And apparently I get the joy of wearing them and of daily shots for the duration of pregnancy to keep this DVT under control. Thankful for medical intervention... But if you can prevent it, it'd be so much better!

HazyHazyJeans · 13/12/2016 07:55

Great news re the scans yesterday. Good luck to anyone with theirs today.

Sorry that hear you're in hospital sunday hope it gets sorted quickly

Welcome newbies and wow reindeer triple congrats!

I've been a bit poorly since the weekend with terrible diarrhoea Blush I was a bit freaked out when there was blood but have seen a nurse & they figure I just have a bug. It shouldn't affect the baby but I've to stay hydrated etc. Oh & DH hasn't been feeling great either so I'm hoping they're right & it is just a bug. Can't help but worry though Confused

Still counting down the days to my scan on Thursday. I think there are a few of us with our scan then...
