Hi. Does anyone else have their dating scan on Monday 5th Dec? I have mine @ 9am, starting to feel nervous already due to past experiences. Fingers crossed this time i see a jumping bean!

I have my scan on Monday at 9am as well Phoebe, feeling pretty nervous but promised myself to stay as calm as possible. Not that it's easy!

Scan this morning. I'm a bag of nerves, can't wait till it's over. Kept patting my tummy and saying is there anyone in there all night

The wait for my dating scan seemed like an eternity, I was very nervous but was soon reassured when I saw 2 heartbeats!!
Those of you with scans today/Monday try not to worry - just keep busy until you go and then enjoy your time in there. The statistics are pretty low for mmc xxx

My bump has ballooned!! There is no way I could have kept this a secret until Xmas!
I am eagerly awaiting my 16 week appointment with midwife next week to see if we can hear their little heartbeats!!
Only thing I will actually be 15.3 - do you think that matters, receptionist made the appointment not me 🙄

I had my scan yesterday, I was so worried about it beforehand but thankfully everything seems ok and we have a very wriggly baby. As mum says try to relax, easier said than done I know!

My dates have been brought forward about a week so now I'm due 6th June.

I've got my 16 week appointment before Christmas and my 20 week scan in mid Jan, its all hurrying along now!

I'm 13+2 and have my 16 week appointment with consultant week before Christmas.

My bump is well and truly visible for all to see now.

I am going on holiday today for what was meant to be hiking in the Lake District.
I hardly fit into any of my walking gear and I haven't found any maternity walking gear in the shops 😆

My bump seems to have deflated now - think I'm past the bloated phase. I refuse to go back to normal jeans though - maternity ones are so comfy and have an extra layer for warmth!

Hi Me9an, no way, same time! Lol. Im going to try and keep busy this weekend to take my mind of it. I have been ill all week with a bad cold and terrible cough, only just starting to feel a bit better. I think things are ok, signs are good this time, but you just never know. I will be the happiest lady alive if we get the a.ok at the scan. Can at least tell a few people then too. Once you can feel the baby move, at least it gives you some reassurance too, as the weeks go by. Good luck, hope we both have good news :)

Awww Mum, twins! How lovely! I think i would shit myself if there were 2 in there! Lol. I admire anyone who copes with a multiple pregnancy and looking after babies after. Wishing you well :)

I've got my works do tonight. It was casual dress (so I was thinking jeans and baggy top). They changed it yesterday to be 'party dress'. WTF?!?! I'm still trying to hide my enormous bump until after Christmas and literally have nothing to wear. So i think I'm going to just go in skinny jeans and baggy top as i had planned and pretend i didn't see the email...!!

How are you doing moose, did your results come today?

I need to have a selfish and completely unreasonable rant. I'm 12 weeks today, have my scan on Tuesday. My bosses wife has her scan today and she's due after me. It's really wound me up! I know scans can be anytime from 11-13+6 and she's at a different hospital to me anyway but I'm so bloody annoyed lol. Just another excuse I think to dislike her, I blocked her on instagram and deleted her off fb due to her stirring about stuff I'd put on. At least I won't have her messaging me next week when she finds out I'm pregnant. She's one of them that will be best friends with people who are pregnant/have babies but act as they don't exist the rest of the time.

Hi all, been keeping off here until now as was terrified about scan but had it yesterday - amazing how differently you feel after confirming it's all real!

Has everyone managed to get the nuchal? Baby was wriggling around too much (actual somersaults - ye gads, if it's actually doing that the whole time...) to get accurate readings (tho sonographer said she didn't see anything to be concerned about) but as my scan was so late, can't hv another and hv to get quad test done instead. Oh well, something more to worry about.

No news yet sweetpea Am going to phone later just to check they haven't arrived but they did say Mon/Tues I was just being ultra hopeful for today. Poor DP still having to wait over his birthday...

Hi phantompower. I was in the same boat with an overactive mini. They offered the quad test at 15 weeks and advised it would test only for Downs and was not as accurate as the combined test. Because of that, I opted for the NIPT test (non-invasive blood test, they separate out the baby / placental DNA) as that's c.99% accurate and tests for the same trisomies as combined testing. I got my results yesterday and am extremely low risk for all three.

Thanks LorrieJ Did they offer that or did you have to pay privately? I think because I was just concentrating on having heard heartbeat, I didn't really ask about other options.

You guys have just reminded me about 16 week midwife appointment. I must remember to give mine a call to book it, I had forgotten all about it!

No news here, other than feeling very tired here. Baby was causing me grief yesterday, shooting pains/twinges in my lower back and buttock. I'm told it's too early for sciatica so goodness knows what he was getting up to in there!

Thanks Dizzy :) im just thinking, what will be will be, totally outside my control. I've followed all the advice to the letter, took my pregnancy vitamins, no alcohol etc. We are in the lap of the Gods! Lol x

Congrats on your scan today Miss!

I had my 10week harmony scan today and all is looking good. One very active, wriggly little baby with a strong heartbeat and measuring one ahead at 10+1.

I cried so much- so happy and relieved. One week to wait for our blood test results.
