We maxed out our last thread before starting a new one.
I'm not savvy like kitkat so can't post our list either! Hopefully there will be some ba's before this thread is completed.

Oh bonkers so frustrating! Am currently doing laps of our local park in the hope of encouraging baby out by the weekend but I just know he's not ready.
Wondering if we have a jellybean baby yet...?

Nojo82 · 07/12/2016 08:58

Aw no way bonkers. Ive been having false alarms since Saturday. Contractions are starting and stopping. Def more painful than BH..

StubbleTurnips · 07/12/2016 09:18

Pop DH found me doing squats last night holding onto the bath tub. I can get down, getting back up is an issue with the hips!!

Vain attempt to evict the tenant.

Nojo and Bonkers ah rubbish. Fingers crossed those false starts move the right way soon.

Minispringroll · 07/12/2016 09:48

Have spent the night on the phone with 111...DH has been having stomach pains and is still throwing up now. Sad He spent the night in the bathroom, hugging the toilet. They were going to send an ambulance but he thought he was ok by that point. Hmm Waiting for a call-back from our GP now. I'm just hoping I'm not catching it. Hmm

Was getting some pains last night and DH was joking that the stress of him being poorly might just tip me over the edge and get this baby out. I'm not sure about his "cunning plan". Grin It's not working and pains subsided again.

Hello everyone! Haven't popped in here for ages as mainly been on the FB group. In hospital in queue to have an ELCS later today. Can't wait to meet baby!
mrsfredweasley of course you can - the more the merrier and dare I see it's a bit easier to keep up with. Just PM me with your real name (and maybe a description of your profile pic) or your email address and I can add you. Anyone else wanting to join the FB group, do say!

Growingbeanno2 · 07/12/2016 12:32

Parked on the sofa after a storm obsessioning night zzzzzzzz

Week till elcs, keeping legs closed. It'll be fine right? DS1 was born at 38+6 and today I am 38+4 so growing more anxious. God I'm a fruit loop??!!! Can I join the fb too?

livelyredjellybean · 07/12/2016 13:04

Little wriggle made her way into the world at 9.55am this morning by emergency c-sec. Her heart rate was struggling every time I had a contraction so they popped her out! She is doing fine now though.
Hope everyone else is doing well and that those false alarms come to something soon for you lovely ladies!

billabye · 07/12/2016 14:15

Congratulations livelyred Flowers

I'm glad to hear your little one is doing well, hope you are too!

Babydreaming · 07/12/2016 14:45

I'm not sure if things are starting for me or not! I was having some back ache overnight then went for a sweep this morning. Midwife said baby was very low down and my cervix felt ready. Since the sweep I've been having cramps every 15 mins or so and It feels like baby is trying to wriggle his way out! I'm definitely not in extreme pain though and was told to expect cramps after a sweep so who knows!!

Surf25 · 07/12/2016 16:45

Hope your ELCS goes well and you are holding your little one very soon, if not already, brisgirl I'd like to join the Facebook group too so I shall pm you at some point!
Congrats livelyredjellybean !! So exciting to have all these babies arriving!
I have my last scheduled scan and appointments with mw and consultant tomorrow. Already been given induction date for 20th Dec. Never had any medical monitoring or intervention at all with my previous three dc. All different with twins! Can't wait to meet them!

barkingtreefrog · 07/12/2016 16:57

Finally!!! I've been struggling to get onto mn on my phone (android so no app) as the page keeps loading to 90% then stopping?!
Still going really slowly so just posting to save my place and I'll read back later to see what I've missed!

Baby (girl) Barking arrived via early c section on 26th November after reduced movements for two days. Had some feeding issues due to tongue tie but otherwise all good. Born at 38+1 weighing 6lb 13. She has been feeding constantly for the last seven hours, I have done nothing but feed all day....

Bigfam · 07/12/2016 17:00

Congratulations Livelyredjellybean hope you make a quick recovery.
Good luck for the section brisgirl
Fingers crossed it is the start for you babydreaming

I spoke to a midwife and she'll be coming out tomorrow, she's going to take a look and if she thinks she has jaundice, will check.
southdown as you have recent experience, do you think baby looks yellow? Someone said today she looked quite dark Confused not quite sure what they meant!

New december 2016 thread! Will there be arrivals on this thread I wonder?

Congratulations Barking do they know why her movements were reduced? Hope you're both OK

TipBoov · 07/12/2016 17:49

bigfam the midwife who came on day 5 said baby had mild jaundice but we don't need to do anything. I felt guilty as we'd not been out and about so I made sure we went for a walk round the block today! Daylight is supposed to help.

Congrats barking !

Bigfam · 07/12/2016 17:53

Thanks tip When dd1 was born they told me to put her crib by a window/where there was sunlight.
Baby has been out every day since she was born Grin we even managed to register her birth today!

TipBoov · 07/12/2016 17:57

Wow, that's good going! We're registering the birth tomorrow, thankfully we can do it at the parish council office in our village. With DS we had to trek to he nearest city which was frustrating.

I'm trying to get out and about more each day as I really want to be up to going to DS's first nativity next week!

Bigfam · 07/12/2016 18:43

We did have to go into our local town but it's only 15 mins away so not too bad. Dd2's Christmas play was Friday & I was sat through that thinking about how I was so fed up of being pregnant, little did I know later that night (well early hours Saturday morning) she would decide to make an apperance! Ds' Christmas play is on the 12th so baby will be coming along with me.

SolomanDaisy · 07/12/2016 19:52

bigfam, both of mine have needed treatment for jaundice and I think your dd looks a little bit yellow, but not as yellow as they were when they needed treatment.

Congratulations barking and lively!

My DD had her tongue tie cut yesterday, it wasn't obvious until she got big enough to be sticking her tongue out and it was heart shaped!

I hope everyone who's waiting gets their baby soon.

kittyscot81 · 07/12/2016 21:43

Possible tmi question. Has anyone used 'padsicles' to soothe downstairs issues after the birth? Decided to make some but worried they might burn if u have a tear?

Bumbleclat · 07/12/2016 21:50

Congratulations on all the cute babies everyone!!

I'm 38 weeks today and my midwives have inundated me with research to help me make my mind up about the vitamin K jab for the baby.

I'm really Confused about it... What do the wise women of Mumsnet think?

Thanks in advance :)

Londonmamabychance · 07/12/2016 22:06

Congrats, Barking! How wonderful that you have your baby now! And congrats, Lively

Still no sign of my little one arriving, saw me today I'm 39+3 and they offered sweep but Insaid no as aid rather it starts naturally, but now so tired and in pain I'm just hoping it starts soon! Worst of all are in fact the piles (sorry if TMI) can't believe how bad they've become. Oh wel, hopefully soon the reason for them will make his appearance Adkins they'll be gone!

Londonmamabychance · 07/12/2016 22:07

Bumble I went for but K injection last time and will this time too, as its easier than having to go in multiple time
To have drops. Hope your NV had cleared up!

Londonmamabychance · 07/12/2016 22:07

Meant vit K!

StubbleTurnips · 07/12/2016 22:11

Congrats to new arrivals! Flowers

Youre brave kitty - hope it provides some relief, last time i had enough going on with various physical symptoms post birth so adding anything else to that mix was not happening.

Bumble baby 2 will be getting the vit k injection.

Bumbleclat · 07/12/2016 22:13

Thank you london I finally feel somewhat normal again- phew it was awful being this pregnant and that I'll.
Apparently my antibodies cross the placenta and are given to the baby so (it it's true) that's one good thing.
Thank you.
