I would like for squirmy to make an appearance. He's kicked my ribs and it's been hurting since last night. Continues to feel like he's trying to tunnel out by himself. I was half expecting to wake up and suddenly find a baby between my legs last night. My DF is very excited and I keep getting asked whether anything has happened, yet. (Yeah..sure...I just forgot to mention it... )

Thanks south I was going to ask for your advice as I remembered gorgeous babysouth had been treated. I don't know who to contact though, we took her back Sunday for the nee baby check and she was fine then, it's only today that I think I've noticed her skin colour. Shouldn't I have a mw appointment in the next few days too?

Baby KitKat is already 4 weeks old today! She's really doing well now. Had her weighed yesterday and she had put on 15oz in 10 days and is now 7lb 3oz so finally fitting into newborn clothes. I also successfully managed to start breast-feeding her yesterday without nipple shields (some of you might remember she had an immature latch from being born early and couldn't latch without them). This is great but where she's still getting the hang of doing it properly good god she's making my nipples sore! Also all the weight gain has come from a lot of late night cluster feeding sessions so I am really tired! Pleased (in a guilty way) that DD1 is at nursery today so I could catch up on some sleep and get some odd bits done.

Put my Christmas tree up yesterday! Feeling festive now!

One successful ELCS completed this morning! He's bloody gorgeous and we're both now slowly cooking on the ward awaiting the return of my DH with our older DS. Can't wait to introduce them!

Congrats Dartmoor! Fantastic news. Hope you're both well and that your DS picks up interest in bubba a bit once You're home. Guess if DS is small it can be hard to really comprehend.

39+ 1 today and so tired, and my piles are back with a vengeance, ouch, really hope that they'll resolve once bubba is born. Also DD is teething like mad and in a dreadful mood And not sleeping properly or eating, so feeling a bit besieged. But hopefully baby will arrive soon, can't wait!

Has anyone who had a csection noticed numbness? My whole tummy is partly numb, it's very odd.

Baby is sleeping all day and only waking up to feed, but then feeding hourly all night! I managed to get a few hours sleep this morning while DH watched her, and just brought her to me when she needed a feed, but I'm so tired now, and I barely have an appetite which doesn't help.

Definitely tip last night baby woke at half 2 (which is exactly when my labour started Saturday morning, how strange!) and didn't go back to sleep until half 4.
Dd3 is being a complete pickle and is bouncing off the walls and won't sleep so have sent her up with dp, but I know once she starts getting tired/grumpy will want to come down.

Period pains have started on and off this evening. Wishful thinking but wondering if this might be the start of things. Am a bit nervous in case it is, despite having been so impatient!

😭 my boobs are absolutely KILLING me

I'm loving all the birth announcements on here! I've moved from FTM terror of the labour as I don't know what to expect to just wanting the baby here already!! It's so exciting!!

I've realised I posted our baby news on FB but not on here.
Baby boy (name to follow) born 7.53am on 2/12 weighing 9lb 10.5oz.
My labour story isn't great (poorly controlled pain following induction, tear requiring surgery) and we're still in hospital as we've both needed iv antibiotics but hopefully we'll get home tomorrow and start this adventure properly. I'm completely in love with him.

Hi all! Long time December babies lurker here. I had a mc at the start of the year so didn't want to join in with any antenatal threads because I felt like I had to be cautious throughout this whole pregnancy so I hope you don't mind me butting in now .

DD was due on 3rd December but came by elcs on 30th November. Currently struggling with (what we think is) reflux and the tummy havoc of changing from breast to bottle, but hoping it all settles down.

I've seen there's a fb group so could I join? Even though it's cheeky to ask so late!! How do I go about joining?

Argh waters have just gone...! Had my 40 week mw appointment today where she referred me for a scan as babys head didn't feel like it was in the right place. Really did not expect to go from seeing her on the scan today to potentially seeing her for real the next day, eeeep!!!

Hi mrsfredweasley sorry for you loss earlier in the year, but congratulations on the birth of your little girl. My Dd3 had awful reflux, the gp wasn't listening to my concerns so we decided to switch her to anti-reflux formula, we never had any problems with her bringing up her feeds after that.

Livelyredjellybean how exciting, have you had any contractions yet? Not long now!

Hi bigfam, contractions coming thick and fast! Sat in the ante natal ward now waiting to go to MLU... to be precise, sat on the loo as its the only place I'm comfortable!
