We maxed out our last thread before starting a new one.
I'm not savvy like kitkat so can't post our list either! Hopefully there will be some ba's before this thread is completed.

Nojo82 · 24/11/2016 08:05

Congratulations queen she's a wee cutie..

SolomanDaisy · 24/11/2016 08:07

Aw, how lovely queen! Congratulations.

Chookchick · 24/11/2016 08:30

Congratulations Queen! Folk have been asking after you. Lovely news! But 3 weeks in hospital? You must be so glad to be home :)

cnchapmanxx · 24/11/2016 09:00

Congrats queen everyone was wondering where you were and if you were ok!! She's lovely!

That's great that you can bring baby home soloman such good news and glad Baby is doing well!!

Apple I hope you are able to bring baby home to celebrate a bit of thanksgiving if I'm right in saying you live in the us!

My hospital/community midwife won't do a sweep until I'm 7 days over and an induction until 12 days, whereas Sunderland and North tees offer sweep on due date! I think you should be given the option to have it on your due date wherever in the country you are based you don't have to take it but I mean after 40 weeks your absolutely fed up I know I am at 36 weeks! Xxx

Bigfam · 24/11/2016 09:31

I had to go back a page to see babyqueen glad I did, she's gorgeous!
3 weeks? Hope you're both OK x

I really feel like ive turned into a complete moan this pregnancy..

SouthDownsSunshine · 24/11/2016 09:33

Congratulations queen! She's adorable.

I'm feeling a lot lot better this morning. Baby is doing really well as well and off the sunbed. Currently enjoying skin to skin cuddles.

billabye · 24/11/2016 09:38

Congratulations Queen she's beautiful. You must be glad that's all over!

goinggrey1978 · 24/11/2016 09:59

queenc81, congratulations!! What a beautiful name and a lovely weight too!! Nojo82, ring the midwife about the itching please, it's to do with your liver and pregnancy, can't remember the name of it, I'm on weekly blood tests for it and I have cream too and I also have the consultant again for it and thyroid issues next Monday, as if something changes in my blood they will start me off at 37 weeks and won't let me go over 38 weeks, the condition goes once you've given birth, but you need to be checked out sooner rather than later!!

OrianaBanana · 24/11/2016 10:09

Stubble I found that too (sweep v uncomfortable). Mind you my mw at the time was horrible and I suspect at that point my cervix was nowhere near ready. I was induced in the end at 42 weeks and it took two days, so my current mw says my body probably just thinks 42 weeks plus is a perfectly acceptable gestation period and that attempts to encourage me along this time may well not work very well. Ho hum. Think I'll decline any sweeps this time as it was v ouchy.

amorita · 24/11/2016 10:23

Hi all, I'm board hopping frm the July board. Lovely to read of all you having your babies or getting close to the point Smile I hop over to this board like something that hops a lot to ask a quick question. My cousin has told me that i'm not supposed to use bleach to clean with around the house during the first trimmester. Was this true or did you carry on using it? She said something to do with the fumes Confused

Theaks · 24/11/2016 10:45

Awwwwww beautiful babies being born. Congratulations!
39.3 today and getting very impatient. I'm getting period type pains on and off. Hoping this is a good sign. Was sick yesterday- came out of the blue. Still feel a little off it today but no more sickness.

StubbleTurnips · 24/11/2016 10:51

congrats queen - am mightily Envy of all these babies coming.

Think I was the same last time Oriana, nowhere near ready and 3 sweeps later = induction. The midwife said she'd do one at 40w here but I may decline.

Last day at work today!! I'm eating another pineapple just in case it works.

OrianaBanana · 24/11/2016 11:28

Hi amorita There are lots of guidelines and dos and donts. I think you have to do your research and make your own mind up, I don't clean with bleach apart from chucking it down the loo every now and again and I've tried not to use the more noxious products like cillit bang.

barkingtreefrog · 24/11/2016 12:43

So good to hear from you queen and what a gorgeous little girl Grin. You must be so happy to be home!!!

Sunshine glad today is a better day.

I'm waiting at the hospital to be monitored after reduced movement today. Typically she's kicked twice since I got here, but only moved twice in the last 7-8 hours compared to 16 times when I counted on the app on Tuesday.... So still want to be reassured!!

amorita · 24/11/2016 13:00

Hi Oriana thank you for trying to answer my question. I have google'd it and i've read articles that say not to use caution with cleaning products and some articles that say its fine so not really conclusive. I only want to put some bleach down my loo. I have been a good girl and not put any down since Friday now. My cousin told me over the weekend but its beginning to do my head in the loo not being able to put some down now. First world problems et al but its still a minor irritation i don't need right now especially when i'm getting up close and personal with that loo with morning sickness Blush

OrianaBanana · 24/11/2016 13:08

Personally I'd use it down the loo but well-ventilated. Or do you have anyone who can do it for you? Like your cousin Wink

amorita · 24/11/2016 13:19

Oriana My boyfriend works away during the week so its only me here at the moment. I could ask my cousin around for a cuppa i guess Hmm Grin The bleach bottle doesn't have any such cautions written about use in pregnancy. The thought of all the germs is doing my head in! Anyone else offer a second opinion?

Nojo82 · 24/11/2016 13:28

goinggrey is it just a blood test they take. Haven't phoned as its a bit awkward with kids at school. Why will they not let u go further than 38 weeks..

Londonmamabychance · 24/11/2016 13:43

Congrats on your little sweet girl, QUeen! Great news. Hope you're both well after long stint in hospital.

South yes am using saline nasal spray, but don't think it helps loads. Went to GP today and he prescribed me another, decongestant nasal spray he said I can use. He also said I could have antibiotics, but not both antibiotics and nasal spray, so currently thinking about which one to go with.

Thisisbonkers · 24/11/2016 13:44

Congratulations queen

I'm not sure I'd be fretting about putting a bit of bleach down the toilet, but also don't fret about a few germs down there either.

goinggrey1978 · 24/11/2016 16:00

Nojo82, yes the blood test checks some levels, not sure why they don't let you go any further than 38 weeks, all i know is you have to have weekly blood tests to check the levels, you can be given cream to use twice daily and also medication as well, please ring for advise as i only went for a thyroid levels check up and ended up with immediate blood tests and weekly monitoring as soon as i mentioned that i had been itching my belly the day before, its called obstetric cholestasis, there's lots of information on the nhs website about why we get it and why you must tell your midwife and get a blood test and be monitored too

AppleMagic · 24/11/2016 16:19

Thank you for the Thanksgiving wishes cnchapman. Ds won't be home for a few days more now as he's doing great but not gaining weight yet.

Nojo82 · 24/11/2016 16:50
