We maxed out our last thread before starting a new one.
I'm not savvy like kitkat so can't post our list either! Hopefully there will be some ba's before this thread is completed.

I agree soloman, DS is just on monitors and a bili blanket for jaundice at the moment (although I never know what will have changed overnight and it's two steps forward, one step back.
I probably only hand expressed for the first 24hrs actually thinking about it. i actually preferred it because I hate having to clean the pump a million times a day.

Bigfam · 22/11/2016 12:54

Yes london dd3 will be 2 in January. I have a 2 year age gap between ds and dd2 though and can't honestly remember ds being so awful when his sister arrived...
I've really babied dd3 though, so I'd say it's my fault, when we tell her off she pulls the most angry face and yells really random words (mickey mouse & nanny are a couple Hmm)

Eek just checking on the thread and we have 3 babies wow! These December babies didn't want to hold on!
Congrats Esk Apple Magic & South such lovely news that there all safe and delivered fine!

Currently 35+4 and wishing this baby would move her little bottom down and get her head engaged. She is so high and causing me so much pain when I'm trying to eat or get comfy on the settee. Be finally in month 9 of pregnancy tomorrow wahoo!!
X

StubbleTurnips · 22/11/2016 14:42

Congrats South

We're in the midst of a threenager, so those with interesting toddler behaviours have my sympathies.

2 days to go at work before I finish, thank goodness.

Still not well here, have eaten a whole pineapple today and can't stomach anything else. Hopefully the pineapple will work in sorting out this baby to come on time.

Nojo82 · 22/11/2016 14:55

Doctor has put me on antibiotics for chest infection. Feel so rough. Got coldsores in my nose. Hopefully be on the mend soon..

livelyredjellybean · 22/11/2016 14:59

Just had my 38 week midwife appointment and was told my little madam isn't engaged at all...! Sad Any other first time mums to be had an unengaged baby at this stage!?

StubbleTurnips · 22/11/2016 15:26

lively there's time. But I hate to say it - DD never engaged, she's still stubborn now Hmm

Londonmamabychance · 22/11/2016 15:32

Poor you, Nojo hope you feel better soon.

Stubble interesting is a good work, last night little madam got so angry that she wasn't allowed to take my phone that she both hit and wanted to bite me and when I told her no, she went, like a little angry dog, and bit a pillow! Maybe we've been a bit too soft on her too, bigfam maybe it's time to get tougher or perhaps the arrival of the baby may sort that out by itself, as she'll simply have less attention! The nursery staff did
say early on that she's 'exceptionally stubborn' and to look forward to teenage years! Shock

Just seen mw and all was fine. Head down but still got a bit to go, so hopefully he'll stay out till my mum arrives next week. Now sat in cafe and trying to get some strength with mint tea to go and buy a new maternity bra. I bloody hate bra shopping and am so exhausted, but the one I have is pretty much in tatters, and since I've dragged myself in to oxford street, may as well make theost of it! (Hospital not too far from here) thought seeing the Christmas lights would cheer me up a bit, but I just want to be in bed! Shock

Nojo82 · 22/11/2016 17:22

I was put on iron tablets a few weeks ago and now i have piles. Raging! I do drink about 2 litres of water so its annoying..

My parents are going on holiday on Thursday, they are my babysitters for the boys when i go in to hosp so dreading if babba decides to come then... ill b on my own.. not good!! Didnt think id feel panicked but for some reason I do..

BowSurprise · 22/11/2016 22:35

So much good news in the last few days. Congrats to all the new arrivals.

I've just found out I'll be induced this week due to reduced growth rate of baby. Has anyone got any good experience they can share of when they've been induced as I've only heard negative things so far.
Thanks

AppleMagic · 22/11/2016 23:27

I've had two good early inductions Bow. Needed the drip both times but had reasonably short proper labours and really short pushing stages with no intervention needed. I had an epidural with my first and would recommend it, especially if they make you stay on the bed to be monitored. My second was just gas and air and it all went pretty much the same just much more painful.

Mainly they were very boring as once you are ready for the drip there can be a wait for staff/room on the delivery ward. If they get lots of women coming in in active labour you can have a long wait (2 days in my case). Obviously if you go into labour in the meantime they find you a room though.

Bumbleclat · 23/11/2016 00:38

Ugh just got up because I've been feeling ill all night and couldn't be bothered to try and sleep.
I then proceeded to throw up in the middle of a coughing fit- working full time this late into pregnancy truly sucks.

I've never felt more like I'm burning the candle at both ends as I do at the moment :(

8 days and counting.

zazie7 · 23/11/2016 02:24

Congrats South! Can't believe how many babies we already have in this thread!

Lively I am 38+3 and baby also not engaged and still feels really high, bump hasn't dropped at all. It's frustrating but there is still time.

I just wanted to let people know that Amazon has the baby moov sleep positioner cushions for £22.79 at the moment, I saw them recommended on this thread and have had it on my wish list, checked today and the price has gone down. It says they're not in stock until 4th dec though.

BowSurprise · 23/11/2016 05:56

Thank you AppleMagic that's really good to hear and helps a lot with my nerves. Will make sure I take lots of magazines!

Bumble hope you've managed to get some rest.

Nuttypops · 23/11/2016 07:47

London, we will also have a 2 year age gap. DD turned 2 last week. I am fully expecting her to play up when the baby arrives having seen recent behaviour from her little friends who have recently become older brothers and sisters. My theory at the moment is that at least sibling rivalry will be combined with the terrible twos, so maybe it would be shorter overalll than if they occurred at different times. Probably a load of rubbish but anything to remain positive! The sleep thing is the issue that really concerns me, apart from a few blips. DD has been a really good sleeper for the last year but one bad night makes me panic we are going back to the horrendous first year of sleep with her when she was an absolute terror! I feel for you.

MrsRaymondReddington · 23/11/2016 08:26

Morning all! I haven't posted much, but have been following the threads, so thank you to everyone on here for all the good advice, discount tips etc....

My gorgeous little lady arrived at 36 weeks by EMCS. She was breech and my waters broke so it was all a bit of a hurry! Good luck to everyone still waiting Flowers for you and now Winefor me!!

MrsRaymondReddington congratulations on your new bundle!!
how much did she weigh??
hope your both well?

StubbleTurnips · 23/11/2016 12:58

Anyone else having really painful braxton hicks? Just took my breath away while making lunch.

TipBoov · 23/11/2016 13:02

Sounds tough bumble do you have much time off between finishing work and your due date?

Congratulations MrsR!

Feeling very hormonal today, I cried when my tesco order was delivered and they sent mango and pineapple instead of melon. I just want some melon!! Now I have to drag myself to sainsburys to buy some, but I have a midwife appointment soon, so it will have to be after the school run. DS is bound to be tired and grumpy, so that will be an ordeal in itself Sad

goinggrey1978 · 23/11/2016 13:28

StubbleTurnips, i started having painful period pains and also burrowing sensations again last night and still continuing again today, last time bubble was burrowing it was getting it's head engaged 3/5 and it burrowed for 2 day non-stop and was extremely uncomfortable as well!!

Bigfam · 23/11/2016 13:30

No tears here tip but I did become irrationally angry with myself this morning because whilst shopping yesterday instead of buying normal shreaded wheat (which I really fancied) I stupidly bought sainsburys own brand with cherry inside, I tried them this morning, soooo bloody gross!
Are they definitely bh stubble or could they be the real deal?!
