Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Hooyah! Those are great symptoms

I remember the constant worry of the first trimester though so its only a gentle one :)

When is your 12 week scan?

Pisghetti · 19/12/2016 16:32

I'm only about 5 weeks so it'll be February which feels an age away. I'm not registered with maternity services yet. I'm going to contact them in the new year.

I didn't get much apart from the permanent hangover (most unfair when you're laying off the gin) and tiredness with DD. I was fairly convinced that I'd turn up for my scan and they'd send me away with a diagnosis of glandular fever or something.

I've peed on another stick and got a good strong line which confirmed I wasn't suffering from line eye the first time.

ChatEnOeuf · 20/12/2016 13:05

Hooyah, Pis. That's pregnancy in a nutshell for me and random bleeding. Oh, the hunger. That's still there sometimes!

LondonGirl83 · 20/12/2016 13:40

Chat how far along are you now? Sorry to hear about the random bleeding.

LondonGirl83 · 20/12/2016 13:42

I'm really annoyed by Peppermint's delivery service Interlink. We ordered some stuff from them at the London baby show and the sent us a text yesterday saying they would be delivering and gave us options to leave it with a neighbor, reschedule etc.

I selected to leave it with our next door neighbor. Instead they left it outside (it was an expensive order) in the rain and the driver signed for it himself.

I can't believe how horrible this delivery service is. I don't think I'll ever shop anywhere that uses Interlink again.

Canters15 · 20/12/2016 16:17

I'm sure all will be fine, pis. It's such a worrying time though, I had disgusting morning sickness and still was horribly anxious the whole pregnancy

Interlink sound shite, London. Hermes always leave stuff hooked over my garden gate which drives me bonkers!

My nips are definitely still very sensitive. Though I have perpetual pre menstrual like hormonal pain which is annoying.

sheepishly sidles in
Hello! Finally had my scan today, am 12w6d so have allowed myself to join grads at last. Was so exciting to see the bean wiggle around!
No real symptoms apart from needing to wee a lot... So I understand your anxiety pis, I've been a wreck for the last 8 weeks!
How's everyone else getting on?

Great news corgi congratulations Smile

Canters15 · 22/12/2016 20:00

Wahoooooooooo corgi!!!!! So happy to see you here, hurrrah for little bean!

LondonGirl83 · 22/12/2016 22:56

congrats corgi!

ScottishLady7 · 22/12/2016 23:28

< delurking briefly before continuing to lurk for another few weeks >

YES corgi!! What a beauty!! Totally delighted for you, love- how exciting!!!

Canters15 · 23/12/2016 07:15

Scottish you too?!!!! Another wahoooooooooo!!

ScottishLady7 · 23/12/2016 08:23

Early days canters but yes I have had my first hundred BFPs, starting last Thursday!
Hopefully I'll be back in a couple of weeks after an early scan to make sure there really is something growing in there...

That's if my boobs don't suffocate me before then. It is a concern. My ginormanorks have been growing rapidly and no bras fit- already, at 4+4... doesn't bode well!!

Hope you're getting on ok? How is R doing?

MyBlackCat · 23/12/2016 17:32

Great news scottish this thread needs some new members Smile

Pisghetti · 23/12/2016 21:39

Great picture Corgi!

Day 2 of the in-laws Christmas visit and no one has yet noticed that my g&ts are actually just ts....

SockQueen · 24/12/2016 21:07

Ooooh corgi congratulations! So pleased to see you here again! I've not been following the conception thread so had no idea. And congratulations Scottish - don't think we've met.

Socklet is 3 months old now, and I think he's starting teething - lots of dribbling, hand chewing and generally a bit more irritated than usual. Hoping this doesn't go on too long! I've fallen down the stairs today and hurt my foot quite badly - just trying to convince myself it's not serious enough to go to A&E on Saturday night/Christmas Eve. Pretty sure it's not broken, just blimming sore!

NameChange30 · 25/12/2016 09:03

Merry Christmas everyone! Xmas Smile

This thread had dropped off my "Threads I'm On" so I haven't checked in for a while and it looks like I missed some exciting updates!

corgi and Scottish Hello and congratulations to you both! Great to see you on here. Hope your pregnancies go smoothly and wonderfully xx

NameChange30 · 25/12/2016 09:07

Sock Sorry to hear about your fall Sad How's your foot today? Did you go to A&E in the end?

ChatEnOeuf · 26/12/2016 23:11

Great news, Corgi! So pleased :)

Lovely to see you here too, Scottish, do chat with us!

24+ now, counting down to the last long shifts - hips starting to randomly ache occasionally now.

SockQueen · 27/12/2016 18:12

Foot still very sore Name, and impressively black-and-blue! I finally caved to pressure (parents/DH) and went to A&E today, Socklet tolerated 3 hours in the waiting room very well. Nothing broken (well, possibly a tiny bit of bone pulled off the base of my big toe, but not certain) but I've got some crutches to make life a bit easier. Hopefully it will start to get better over the next few days.

LondonGirl83 · 27/12/2016 20:39

How sock that sounds painful. You must have a pretty high pain threshold to have been limping around on that the last few days without crutches are medicine.

Scottish congrats! I can't find the current TTC JSing thread. It seems to have gone a bit quiet over there.

I'm 33 weeks now and spent today sorting out all the nursery clothes. DH washed everything including the bedding of the last couple of weeks (one more load to go of new stuff that's arrived) and I've finally put it all away property. Once the final load is done, I'll do the last bit of organising in there this week and then leave it until the baby comes.

I still need to pack my maternity bag though. About half-way through. How much baby clothes did you all bring and did you pack multiple sizes just in case?

Canters15 · 28/12/2016 09:38

Awww Scottish that's wonderful. So pleased for you. My boobs got massive quickly too, I'm now four cup sizes bigger then pre baby Confused R is great thanks, he's just started smiling which is making me melt!

London I would just take newborn sized clothes. R was 7lb 13 and his newborn stuff was all too big, even now at 11 and a bit lbs it still just about fits. I think I took 3 vests and 3 baby Gros and that was plenty.

Ouch sock! Glad it's not officially broken and hope youre feeling better soon. Crutches and a baby sound like an interesting combo!

Pisghetti · 28/12/2016 12:54

Do you know whether you're having an ELCS yet London? You might be in for a bit longer with a CS so it could be worth packing a few days worth of sleep suits. I had DD at a birthing centre and we only ended up being there for a few hours but I packed a separate bag with a week's worth of stuff that DP could just grab in case we got transferred for any reason.

SockQueen · 28/12/2016 15:01

Canters it's really rather tedious - I can't carry Socklet so need DH to do all of that, have to summon him for every nappy change etc. Hoping it will improve by the time he goes back to work next week.

I took 3 vests and 3 babygros, it was enough for us but we only lived 5 mins drive from the hospital so it would have been easy enough for DH to pop home for more. It was pretty hot when I gave birth so most of the time in hospital he only needed to wear a vest, obviously at this time of year it will be different! All in newborn size, though we had 0-3 stuff at home.

corgi88 · 30/12/2016 10:43

Hello! Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! Sock you poor thing with your toe! But excellent work on training your Dh so well Grin

Am 14 weeks now; we had our consultant antenatal appointment yesterday - was relieved to hear that I am "interesting but not exciting" in obstetric terms!! Screening bloods all fine for downs etc but came back as slightly low papp-a. They don't seem too bothered about that though, just put me on aspirin and I'll have scans at 28, 32 and 36 weeks. Anyone else have any experience of this?

Still basically freaking out all the time but also kind of starting to believe that I might just have a baby!

Scottish I had to hotfoot it to M&s and get a much larger bra - is one of those really nice Rosie ones - think I need to buy several more!!

Chat how many more long shifts for you?
