Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Meant to add. Today we went to see a flat that we can't afford that I hated anyway. Feeling totally demoralised about the whole trying-to-move thing (we'll be 4 in a 1bedroom if we don't move). Urgh.

justtheonethen · 10/08/2017 17:18

In fact you have given me a kick up the arse and I'll do it now Grin

pretzelpieces · 10/08/2017 17:18

Ah thank you! That's nice.

NovaArt3mis · 10/08/2017 17:38

Flat hunting is the worst pretzel

Gran was very pleased. And then started talking about how she used controlled crying and started feeding her kids baby food at 6 weeks because they didn't like milk........ how times change! I just had to nod and smile.

I've booked a GP appt (earliest one was 3 weeks away) because I think I might have the beginnings of SPD. In a whole lot of pain.

FuzzyOwl · 10/08/2017 18:42

I hate moving home pretzel and find it so stressful. Really hope you find something suitable very soon.

I've found I have to do lots of smiling and nodding when it comes to parenting Nova. Hope the GP can help with your pain.

Scan tomorrow! Eek!

NovaArt3mis · 10/08/2017 18:47

Hah, I'll just get used to it then fuzzy! So many gx's for you tomorrow.

Just coughed and got the most incredible pain in my back and now I can't put weight on one of my legs/can barely move. Might need to call in the morning for a same day appointment now Confused

justtheonethen · 10/08/2017 18:52

Oh nova that sounds awful. Get to the gp tomorrow. Ouch!

Flat hunting sucks Sad

SofiePendragon · 10/08/2017 18:58

nova there's some advice for pgp on the NHS website www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/pelvic-pain-pregnant-spd.aspx Ask for a physio appointment when you see your GP, they ought to be able to suggest some exercises to help.

Good luck tomorrow Fuzzy! How many weeks are you now?

Elbi · 10/08/2017 22:10

Oh balls I just typed out a whole post then accidentally clicked onto another page and lost it!!

Elbi · 10/08/2017 22:12

The basics were - good luck with scan and househunting Fuzzy and pretzel. Sorry you're in pain Nova Sad and thanks for the link Sofie! I've had pain in my hips today that's meant I can't stand still on my right leg... hope it's not heading in the same direction.

FuzzyOwl · 10/08/2017 22:47

Thanks everyone. Around seven weeks so really hoping the dates match and there is a heartbeat. So nervous!

justtheonethen · 11/08/2017 07:51

Good luck today fuzzy Smile

justtheonethen · 11/08/2017 11:30

I've had a really good few days in terms of not throwing up and then just went downstairs and D(dickhead)H has left a load of food in the sink drainer Envy

NovaArt3mis · 11/08/2017 11:53

Thinking of you today fuzzy

Ugh just, but yay for feeling a bit better in general.

My back is a lot better today so that's good.

CountryGal4 · 11/08/2017 16:19

Nova get yourself a high u shape pillow immediately. Helps so much with spd/pgp and definitely get thee to a doctor for a physio refferal. Don't wait for it to get really bad as they might not to be able to help as much then

CountryGal4 · 11/08/2017 16:19

Huge u shaped not high

Elbi · 11/08/2017 17:52

Ah just that sounds rough! My own dickhead DH just admitted to secretly gobbling the bag of jellybabies I bought for myself...

Hope all went ok Fuzzy

SofiePendragon · 11/08/2017 19:27

I've been thinking I need to get a huge cushion recently. I'm starting to get back twinges and had pgp from around 20 weeks last time so worried it'll be worse this time (especially with a toddler saying "mummy up" on a regular basis!) Are any brands particularly good? There are some incredibly pricy ones on amazon!

pretzelpieces · 11/08/2017 20:17

Thanks for the luck elbi and everyone for the flat stress sympathy!

nova Argh, sorry you're in pain. And you elbi, also I'm outraged on your behalf about the jellybabies. And yours just for the dirty sink. DP's job is washing up and he always leaves the sink like that, we've got fruit flies because of it 😡 Not Cool.

I've got my preggo pillow out already. I favour the six foot long sausage (oh I say!). I've got sciatica and hip pain but it's not unbearable (yet). Bit of a squash with two of us, a toddler and a giant pillow in our regular double bed! Grin

I had my early glucose tolerance test this morning, results on Monday. Hoping it comes back negative (then I get to do it all over again at 28 weeks!).

pretzelpieces · 11/08/2017 20:19

12ft long sausage, actually! It's 6ft on each side of the U! Some people swear by the dream genii but I found it a bit weedy (sent it on to scottishlady instead).

SofiePendragon · 11/08/2017 20:48

pretzel That sounds a squash and a squeeze! We have a king for two adults and a toddler at the moment and I still bemoan my lack of space! What will you do when baby's here? Or does that depend on the flat hunting? I'm trying to encourage our toddler to sleep in her room or in the single alongside our bed at the moment but not having much luck so far! 6 months left to sort it out!

I wasn't very impressed by the look of the dream genii - it looks a bit flat and I'm not sure it would work for taller people (I'm 5ft 9). I bought a cheap v pillow in Aldi a whole ago but it was flat and lumpy after a couple of weeks so not very impressed with that. Will have a look for a 12ft sausage!

Good luck for GTT. i have to have one around 28 weeks as well (family history). The sugar drink last time nearly made me barf - it's so sweet!

NovaArt3mis · 11/08/2017 21:53

Ta country, do you have a link to this 12ft sausage you speak of pretzel?

I was gonna get the theraline, but I'm open to suggestions.

FuzzyOwl · 11/08/2017 22:23

Hope the results are negative pretzelpieces.

I found lying on a duvet also helped my hips when I was pregnant and sitting on the bed to get dressed, so I minimised putting weight just on one side. I figure it is inevitable it will return but not looking forward to it.

justtheonethen · 11/08/2017 22:28

Also fancy a look at the mega sausage. I have facet joint syndrome and bulging discs and I'm getting nervous for them when my latest injections wear off.

Elbi · 11/08/2017 23:13

Big up the 5'9"ers Sofie. Let me know if you find a satisfying sausage as it may suit me too!
