Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I'm going to gp Monday to be referred to RMC. I can't believe this is happening to me.

justtheonethen · 07/07/2017 21:36

It's not fair. I really feel for you lovely Flowers

ZylaB · 09/07/2017 03:45

It's so unfair choo :(

ZylaB · 10/07/2017 18:14

So today, as well as being shattered, I have gone off th idea of any drink except water (I'd been fine with decaf coffee before) and have sore boobs! My last two pregnancies I was only a bit tired, no other symptoms and lost them. Now either the last two were boys (I know one was from genetic testing) and this is a girl, or it's just positive signs! I had symptoms like this with my daughter and then threw up loads and suspect I will be one amongst few to be really happy if I start being sick lol.
I'm taking it as a positive sign :)

justtheonethen · 10/07/2017 18:27

zyla exciting! I'm also delighted by my symptoms!

corgi88 · 10/07/2017 22:09

Viroids I did a baby!!!!!!!!! I am so so so in love I basically weep happy tears of gratitude when feeding him Smile
But here goes with my birth story! So induction started really well, they gave me a prostin and broke my waters and I got to 9.5cm with tens machine and entonox 😶 but there was a cervical rim still.... so the plan was for syntocinon to see if it would get me to fully dilate.... at this point I asked for an epidural which was magical, so glad I did. Alas even after the 2 hours of Syntocinon there was still a rim so they planned a c section - semi elective one, no hurry. Was fine with this and tbh had had enough of labour by this point! Had the options of epidural top up Vs spinal - asked for epidural top up and we were waiting in theatre (Dh in scrubs etc) then baby's heart rate started to drop so they changed it to an emergency section and said we are putting you to sleep now sorry! So I woke up and there was a baby 😂
I'm really not bothered by how he got here though, I just can't believe that he is here and ok and so blinking perfect!!
Came home on Friday evening and he is feeding so well, I am so proud of my boobs 😊

Choo I am so sorry.
Zyla yay!!! Cautious gxing here for you
Just whoooo for symptoms!

Hi viroids, I am a JS-er from 2-ish years ago, I stopped coming online as I was getting obsessed and it wasn't helping my depression, had a few dramas (marital) in between, I finally got my BFP on Friday BUT I flew out to Cuba on Saturday morning and now I am absolutely cracking my pants about ZIKA Blush
Still also don't believe it's real, apart from the sore nipples and the bloating (WTAF with the bloating?!?!?!!!) and trying to get online when I can to google random questions that are popping in my head and trying to hide it from my very sensitive 15yr step-daughter (thank the lord for non alcoholic cocktails!!!) I am one rather stressed out holiday maker Blush
Anyway, just wanted to say hi, I will try and catch up and see if I recognise anyone later

corgi88 · 13/07/2017 06:20

Congratulations poochie! I know it's hard but try not to worry about zika - I mean, don't beat yourself up, you didn't know you were preggers and you can't do anything about the fact that you are in Cuba now. However! I have had a read for you on here (www.nhs.uk/Conditions/zika-virus/Pages/Introduction.aspx#pregnant) and going forward:

"If you and your partner are currently in an area with high or moderate risk of Zika virus transmission, make sure you use condoms during vaginal, anal and oral sex while travelling and for the duration of your pregnancy.
If you are pregnant and have recently returned from an area with active Zika virus transmission, see your GP or midwife and mention where you have been, even if you have not been unwell. Your midwife or hospital doctor will discuss the risk with you and can arrange an ultrasound scan of your baby to monitor growth.
If there are any issues, you will be referred to a specialist foetal medicine service for further monitoring."

And yeah wear mozzie repellent and long sleeved clothes and keep covered up all the time, as the Zika mozzies do indeed bite in the day (the little shits).

Hope you are feeling ok otherwise!

How's everyone else doing? Up bf'ing my little squish - he has regained his birth weight already on day 6! So proud Smile

stumblymonkeyagain · 13/07/2017 07:02

Oh yeah....the bloating.

I'm feeling your pain* with that one Poochie*. I started bloating from 3+3 and it hasn't deflated yet at all. I've been offered a seat on the tube every day this week and I'm only 5+1!

Already in maternity jeans as mine are not even close to fitting around my bubble belly. I'll take a photo this evening so that you can all be in awe of my six month preggers belly with my gas baby Grin

stumblymonkeyagain · 13/07/2017 07:03

Bold fail 🤦🏻‍♀️

justtheonethen · 13/07/2017 09:04

Will post this here as well poochie now you're here Smile, You must be bricking it. I know I would be. I would be tempted to sit inside all day to avoid the zika mozzies, but then I probably wouldn't have gone once I found out. We didn't have a honeymoon for that reason.
I would get tested for zika once home- blood to see if your body has attempted to create antibodies and urine to see if the infection is/has been present.
Urine has to be done within 14 days, blood after 21 days.
You don't have to show symptoms to have it.
Hope I'm not telling you something you already know but I think it's important that you know how risky it is.
Advice is to totally cover up, highest deet you can and avoid any stagnant water. Fingers crossed it's all fine.

stumbly and poochie the bloat!!! I look huge but then I have since stimms. Bloody progesterone pessaries don't help I don't think but thankfully I'm stopping them today Smile
Maternity jeans already Shock, good idea! I'm just glad it's summer and I can float about in harem pants!

justtheonethen · 13/07/2017 09:05

corgi 😍

Poochieblue · 13/07/2017 13:59

Thank you viroids! Thank you for looking that up corgi I wouldn't have even considered using condoms Shock I know dh is going think I've lost the plot so will
Show him what you've put!

I think if I'd found out even just days earlier I'd have cancelled but as it was in the whirlwind of packing literally hours before we left and it didn't (still doesn't) feel real!!

Thank god I brought lots of long dresses with me for the bloat, tried a pair of what were once loose linen trousers the other night and felt like I was being severed in 2 Blush I easily look 7 months.

Thank god I managed to get deet spray as well (who knew it was so hard to get!!) I guess I will carry on covering up and spraying and try not to worry till I'm home and can be tested x

SofiePendragon · 14/07/2017 11:48

Hello. Can I join in? I was on the undergrads thread until i got my bfp in May, but have been lurking since. I had a chemical in February so have been worrying about another loss but I had a scan last week that puts me at 10+4 today so it's starting to feel a bit more real now. It looks like there's been a bit of a run of bfps recently - gx for everyone!

Congratulations Corgi! Wonderful news. I think you got your bfp around the time I joined JS!
