Great news going ! Glad all went well

Well, I had my scan. Apparently my bloods are completely abnormal and indicative of ectopic Confused and after a lot of pressing and prodding and 101 questions about further pain this week, 15mins in I had to ask if she could see anything and she said unfortunately not. Then she changed her settings to have a better look at my ovaries and said "hang on I see something".. lo and behold the teeniest 2.5mm sac in my uterus. She was a bit Hmm Hmm that my BFP was over a week ago. Basically my LMP dates/BFP dates/bloods and what they can see don't correlate or add up and she said I am an 'unusual case' but there is an early (she estimates only just 4 weeks!) pregnancy there but I need to return in a week.

So at least something is there.. We'll see next week, but I'm feeling a little reassured by the 2.5x3.3mm sac Grin because it's more than was there on Monday!

DizzyNorthernBird · 20/10/2016 13:00

What is the hook effect? Who'd have known that diluting your we could give you a stronger line?!

Sunday it's confusing isn't it! I'm pretty sure my revised date is about right as I was temping so have a good idea of when I ovulated (give or take a day or so).

Welcome farmer and mrsrose! mrsrose there's plenty of us here who are also very early on so you're in good company if you have any worries you want to get off your chest.

goingmad great to hear your scan went well. That's crazy you can see the heart beating already! Ovia told me today that mine is developing ears already....weird or what?!

I went out this morning having only had a yoghurt for breakkie. Was walking around house of Fraser and suddenly came over all queasy! They always have the temperature so high in there which doesn't help. So I came right home and I've just stuffed my face with cheesy beans on toast! Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 20/10/2016 13:15

flashing just seen your post, well at least that explains your lack of symptoms! Is the size of the sac what it should be for 4 weeks gone? What an emotional rollercoaster though!

Masweetpea1 · 20/10/2016 13:20

Just back from my scan. All is good!! They think i had a cyst that burst. There is a bean, it's in the right place, it's the right date and there was a heartbeat!!!

Absolutely delighted!! Just need to get through the next few weeks now. Smile

7+4 revised slightly

Xx

Masweetpea1 · 20/10/2016 13:30

Great news going . flashing, good news too, fingers crossed for next week xx

Mommytobe2017 · 20/10/2016 13:48

Any tips on when to get maternity trousers for work? I feel like I'm going to burst out my trousers already...

FlashingLights · 20/10/2016 14:07

Fab news masweet !

dizzy Yes it's been a very confusing week! But it definitely explains my lack of symptoms. She was a bit vague when I asked about the size but I've consulted Dr Google for pictures of 4 week scans and they look like what we saw today.

mommy Asap! Maternity trousers are the most comfortable things ever. You'll never want a regular waistband again haha! Well at least I didn't - I've been Stocking my ASOS wishlist with things already.

MissisBee · 20/10/2016 14:26

Hi everyone. Pleased to hear everyone's good news from scans. Not planning an early one myself and hoping circumstances don't arise that I'd need one.
I'm having trouble sleeping too, not on the whole unusual for me but I like to lie on my front and my boobies hurt. I'm also really hot at night, normally I'm freezing.

Mooseville · 20/10/2016 14:47

Brilliant news from all the scans! Let's hope that little sac keeps growing flashing

Got my scan tomorrow, very nervous!

PurpleHaze1 · 20/10/2016 14:50

Great news about the scans!

Hi rose

HelloMist · 20/10/2016 15:23

Glad to see Masweetpea, Flashing and Going that you have all had reassuring scans/news!

Unfortunately I think I am signing off from the thread now. It looks like I had a chemical pregnancy or an early loss. I had a little bleeding overnight and the blood test results (which I'd arranged as was already worried) have confirmed it.

Good luck to everyone.

haveacupoftea · 20/10/2016 15:26

I am so sorry hellomist. I will miss you from the thread xx

Poppydm · 20/10/2016 18:23

So sorry to hear that Mist Thinking of you.
Hi Rose and congratulations.
Great that they've picked something up on the scan Flashing Smile
Think I'm going to tell my dad tonight. Could actually be sick a little bit. Why am I so nervous?!

Poppydm · 20/10/2016 18:34

Also thank you very much to the person that added me to the spreadsheet. I really appreciate it Smile

Mommytobe2017 · 20/10/2016 18:50

Oh so so sorry Mist Flowers

Managed to get through dinner with the work folk without feeling sick so bonus!
I think I'm making myself feel sick from panicking that I'm going to be sick...
I can't deal with sick. Have managed to avoid it for about 12 years so not about to start now!!

Will definitely look for some maternity trousers Flashinglights. They feel so tight that I'm thinking people will guess before I say anything.

Glad to hear all the scans went well. Haven't even considered an early one myself.

Going to put my feet up now. Hope everyone has a good night Grin

Mommytobe2017 · 20/10/2016 18:53

Oh, Poppy I was terrified to tell my parents too. I know there's no need to be but I couldn't help it. I cried when I told mom. Hormones! I also cried when I told the ladies I work with Blush

Poppydm · 20/10/2016 19:01

How did they react Mommytobe? How did you tell them? I've told my mum just feel weird telling my dad!

Mommytobe2017 · 20/10/2016 19:10

They are over the moon Grin Dad was quite surprised and didn't quite know what to say but now they're both planning where the tree house is going and getting all of my old stuff out of the loft 😆 I'm nervous about telling my sisters too. My younger sister said she doesn't want to be an aunty... ermm... Not quite sure how she'll take it... Smile. Mom got a little upset because we lost my Gran a few years ago so she was thinking about her.
So glad they know now. Breathe and you'll be fine Grin I cried that much Mom asked me if I was happy about it! Haha Blush
