Ha ha definitely hormones Smile Aww it sounds lovely. So pleased for you! I think I'll feel relieved once he knows. Feel like I don't want to tell anyone else before him and I really want to tell my best friend when I see her at the weekend.

PurpleHaze1 · 20/10/2016 19:31

I'm so sorry HelloMist Flowers

Poppy I cried like a baby when I told my mum that I was pregnant with DD. I remember driving over to tell her and I was SO scared, shaking and everything! I don't know why, there was no reason to be so scared. I think I still felt like a naughty teenager, ha! Hmm

MoonlightMojitos · 20/10/2016 19:39

mumofthree how did the midwife app and telling mums go?

Welcome lama and mrsrose!

peace sorry to hear that. Hopefully all ok if you had it last time too.

flashing glad you're positive about it and they saw more than last time! Fx for you sac keeps growing and next week there's a baby by then!

ma that's the same as I had. Early scan at 5+2 due to pain, everything was fine and baby right for dates but a cyst causing my pain. They said it's really common and actually a good sign as it releases the early pg hormones.

Great news going! Such a relief. I sobbed too don't worry I'm sure so many of us do!

tea mug shots are my go-to at the moment too! The hunger strikes me so quickly it's ridiculous so I have about 3 minutes to eat something before I'm in pain from the hunger aches!

So sorry mist, hope you're OK and have some good support :(

7+0

Poppydm · 20/10/2016 19:48

Mummyh2016 · 20/10/2016 19:53

So sorry mist, thinking of you Flowers

MundayCakes85 · 20/10/2016 19:56

Thinking of you mist

catlady15 · 20/10/2016 20:12

Just got a positive test result, first time pregnant! Due date says 26th June Grin

Mommytobe2017 · 20/10/2016 20:13

Purple Poppy Mom guessed. I said "I've got something to tell you" and she went "You're not pregnant are you?" What a relief I didn't have to tell her. Aha I'll never forget her face Grin

MumofthreeandBean · 20/10/2016 20:16

Midwife went ok - loads of paperwork, blood taking etc
Consultant led care because I've had a 10.3 baby - very happy with that tbh. Edd - 31st may - I will hang out here for the duration if I may, I'm sure dates will change after first scan which will be at 12 weeks - awaiting an appointment in the post

Both mums were very happy - told bro in law and his wife too - very happy! Also pleased they have someone to hand baby bits on to!! This I am pleased with as we literally have a Moses basket and that is it, like first timers again!!

So sorry mist xx

annakd1234 · 20/10/2016 20:19

Congrats cat lady Smile

I told my dad last week, he doesn't live close by so it was over the phone, made sure he was sitting down first! I cried loads - I think partly because mum died when I was 18 so I'll definitely miss her over the next few months! All I get is second hand stories from my dad about how she was when she was pregnant. Other than my dad my oh has told his mum - she's already got 10 grandchildren so think she probably had an answer well rehearsed! But she phoned me and was very nice!

Skee · 20/10/2016 20:19

Oh Mist, what terrible news, I'm so sorry to hear this.

Much love and look after yourself Flowers

Skee · 20/10/2016 20:21

Hello and congratulations Newbies! Star

Struggling with what to eat at the moment... but I think from all the recommendations I might get some S&V crisps Smile

Can someone tell me what a mug shot is...?? Grin

Skee · 20/10/2016 20:22

Also - congratulations on all the scans!! Star

PurpleHaze1 · 20/10/2016 20:31

Glad she took it well Mommy Grin

catlady15 · 20/10/2016 20:33

Thanks guys! I'm completely new to all this! Can I join the spread sheet? I didn't want to think about things too much until I got a positive result and now I think I have a lot to learn...! I haven't told anyone except my oh but think I'll have to tell work before 12 week scan as I am supposed to be travelling with them end of November

MoonlightMojitos · 20/10/2016 20:59

skee it's like a cup a soup of pasta lol. You just put it in a cup with boiling water. Not healthy at all but very quick and fills a hole!

My mum just told me my aunt asked her if I'm pg when she saw her yesterday as apparently when I popped round there on Saturday I walked in to her kitchen and gagged and covered my nose and mouth with my sleeve! I cannot remember this but it sounds like me right now! Made me wonder if anyone has guessed yet. Luckily mu mum knows already and she said she lied to my aunt but she thinks she probably knows!

mumofthree all good news then, well done! Bet you're so happy today :) all coming together and a bit more real!

Welcome catlady, congrats!

KittyVonCatsington · 20/10/2016 21:14

That's great to hear Mumofthreeandbean!

haveacupoftea · 20/10/2016 22:06

Dragon5000 · 20/10/2016 22:14

Hey newbies!

So sorry mist :(

I generally feel bleurgh unless in eating. I'm getting so fat there's no way in gonna be able to not tell my colleagues as I've lost so much weight this year they're commenting on my constant eating and my tummy is popping out big time!

Dh put ds to bed and I fell asleep on the sofa for am hour! Started walking up early hours again

Mug shots are my daily lunch at work so quick and easy! And free on slimming world so super handy
8+1

Skee · 20/10/2016 22:16

I want to want healthy food, I normally eat so healthily, but all I want/can stomach at the moment seems to be beige Hmm
