Love and hugs to those who need it xxxFlowers

I took the boys football team to the scary park I posted about the other day, I ended up falling straight on my front and cutting all my hands up, in the car park on the way in!!! There was no lighting! I made a complaint!
I'm ok, I think at 9.1 baby bean is well hidden inside but I was quite shocked and I have the sorest palms now 😕 The boys all just stood and looked at me on the floor and I was like 'it's ok, I'm fine' secretly hoping I hadn't done some damage inside. No bleeding or anything but I don't know how long that would take!? Wondered about calling midwife but hubby said all would be fine so I'm going with that for now.
Feel so silly!!!

So I think I managed to add to the spreadsheet but not the thread?
"Busy thread! I've lurked a bit but don't think I've intro'd - so I've tried to add myself to the spreadsheet. I'll check back tomorrow to see if worked. Pretty tired here.
So. First child. Currently keeping fingers crossed. Feeling pretty queasy and quick to tears and just weird basically. All kinds of odd. I told my parents today."

6+4 (I think. can't maths! My thing says 45 days)

Dragon5000 · 28/10/2016 12:10

Hey girls, sorry flying visit will catch up on thread later when my phone let's me!

Just had my booking appt, BP crazy high, was 130/86 few weeks ago but now it's 140/93 so emergency Dr appt later for clarification and help!
Also been referred to consultant care because I have scoliosis, high BP and had a goitre after my last pregnancy.

Bit stressed out but sure out will all be fine! My mw is absolutely lovely which really helps.

Off to tell work the good news I'll be leaving 2 hours early later!

Mommytobe2017 · 28/10/2016 13:02

Can't believe half term is almost over already!!
Only 10 days till my mw appt. Not that I'm counting... Aha

PropagatingaPanda · 28/10/2016 13:39

Not sure it's good news from me I'm afraid- only measuring 5-6 weeks on scan and they couldn't detect a heartbeat. I was offered the opportunity to take part on a progesterone trial so have come home with a big bag of either that or placebo. The lady was so lovely but obviously we're feeling pretty deflated today. Going back in a week for another scan but my gut says it's just stopped growing Sad

PropagatingaPanda · 28/10/2016 13:44

Oh- on dates I'm meant to be 8+0

Kitsandkids · 28/10/2016 13:48

Aww Prop. So sorry to hear that xx

Sixisthemagicnumber · 28/10/2016 14:03

Oh panda, I'm sorry about your scan news. Could you possibly have your dates wrong? Fingers crossed for you at next weeks scan Flowers

HazyHazyJeans · 28/10/2016 14:04

I'm so sorry panda I really hope for better news at the next scan Flowers

PropagatingaPanda · 28/10/2016 14:23

Fairly certain of dates- first day of last period was 2nd September and I'm on a 26 day cycle. I do still feel relatively pregnant in that boobs are sore and I can't face a lot of foods and sense of smell is through the roof but I've had virtually no nausea this time while with DS I was vomiting a lot.
Trying to remain pragmatic, if it's not meant to be we're lucky to have what we have.

NappingRabbit · 28/10/2016 15:25

Really sorry you didn't get the reassurance you were after Panda, fingers crossed you get a lovely surprise at your rescan, but it sounds like you've got a good approach to it either way Flowers

Poppydm · 28/10/2016 15:49

So sorry to hear that Panda. Really hope everything is ok.
Hope everything is ok with everyone else.

FlashingLights · 28/10/2016 18:07

panda sorry to hear about the scan, I hope all works out well.

My GP called me yesterday and asked me to come in for an appt. He said he won't do my antenatal referral (which confuses me anyway because I done a self referral via the hospital - maybe it has to go through him first). Basically, he said I'm not pregnant and I am having a delayed period!!! Even though we both had my EPU reports that clearly say I am. He seems to think that because by dates I am 7+2, that can't possibly change at all. I tried to explain that EPU are happy that there is a progressing pregnancy, even if I don't match my LMP dates at all. I can understand if he doesn't want to do the midwife referral until after my follow up scan, but how dare he sit there and say I'm not even pregnant!!

Mommytobe2017 · 28/10/2016 18:16

Oh sorry Flashing people can be so rude. The receptionist was rude to me at the docs.

Should I be concerned that I'm having quite painful period cramps? I feel like I'm going to come on.

Mummyh2016 · 28/10/2016 18:32

mommy I think it's normal, I've been having cramps quite a bit. It always turns into trapped wind, sorry if tmi! I never used to suffer before.

7 weeks today, got my flu jab on Tuesday, booking in appt with midwife a week on Monday and booked an early scan for a week on Wednesday Grin been to Drayton manor today, DH brother works there and got us free tickets as it's the fireworks this weekend. Was all arranged before I got my BFP. Can't believe how little you can go on when pregnant. Used my initiative towards the end and went on the rapids, not sure what risk it could cause in early pregnancy! Was supposed to stay till 9pm but decided to leave, DH felt like a loner going on the rides on his own.

Feeling a bit nauseous now, not sure if it's going to be the start of morning sickness or because I was messing with my phone in the car on the way home Confused

Creatureofthenight · 28/10/2016 18:39

I've had loads of cramping Mommy. Someone told me if it's like period pains it's ok, if it's worse then seek medical advice.
GP told me the extra progesterone the body produces and uterine stretching are what causes the cramps.

Mommytobe2017 · 28/10/2016 19:01

Ok thanks. You've put my mind at ease Grin I know worrying won't make things easier.

I get really, really bad PMT and was expecting to be really ill during pregnancy but so far I've barely had any symptoms. That's how I realised I was pregnant. 2 days late and absolutely no pain or anything (I usually get pains at least 5 days before)

KittyVonCatsington · 28/10/2016 20:19

Oh Mumofthree Hope you have got over the shock-that must have been so scary!

Oh jeez Panda I so hope it is just too early to detect a heartbeat and the dates are a bit ou (((hugs)))

Flashing -sometimes GPs just are absolutely rubbish at early pregnancy-my one had never even heard of a
Chemical Pregnancy!!! Not what you want to hear, lovely-I'm sure the dates are just out a bit xxx

Cramping will be your uterus stretching Mommy-can really hurt sometimes!! But should be nothing to worry about

Hurray for Friday!!!!!!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 28/10/2016 21:06

Apparently the cramping can be tiny cysts on the ovary from which you ovulated and got pregnant. I only know this because when I had my internal scan the sonographer had a look at what could be causing my cramping and she deliberately moved the dildo cam around to see what would cause discomfort and then when I got uncomfortable she said 'yep that is pain from your ovary where you ovulated, nothing to worry about, just tiny cysts which is normal'.

RunMum33 · 28/10/2016 21:28

Hi all, I am 6 weeks today and this will be my second baby. My son is 10 months old 😀. It was planned and now just hoping everything progresses as it should.

I have already seen my GP and have an early scan booked for November. Will be consultant led as had complications during labour and was diagnosed with Group B Strep afterwards.

Look forward to going through the journey together.

P.S dates can be well off. I was 7 days ahead with my sonand I had a clockwork 28 day cycle. Some people ovulate early and some ovulate much later xxxx

VeganMama83 · 28/10/2016 21:44

Hey everyone.

Welcome to newbies and sorry panda for your news Flowers

Early scan went well. Everything where it should be and saw the heart beating away. Moved forward by 1 day which is still pretty spot on to my cycle/my dates.

7+4

Skee · 28/10/2016 22:52

Oh what a couple of days, just trying to catch up - so sorry to hear troubling news.

My heart goes out to you Bobo, I hope you've got the support you need. Flowers

Panda, much love and fingers crossed for good news at your next scan x

Take care of yourself Ma! Sounds like some reassuring info from the thread though x

What a load of nonsense Flashing! I've heard midwives comment that GP's don't have a clue with pregnancy... I'm getting to see their point?! Halloween Angry

Very warm welcome to the recent newbies too - congratulations! Star

Hey Hazy, I'm ok thanks, hope you're doing well?

I had to fess up to one of my customers today (who i've recently started going mountain biking with through the summer, outside of work, so consider her a friend) because I nearly vommed during a training session..... awkies! Halloween Confused

Food diary's making me laugh:

Monday: Rich tea biscuits are the cure

Tuesday: Can't stand rich tea biscuits, loving oatcakes and S&V Squares.

Wednesday: prepacked pancakes - why have I only just found these??

Thursday: Super noodles, this is easy to eat! Win!

Friday: cream of tomato soup, don't bring Squares into the same room.

Today: Sultana bran. Breakfast and dinner. That's all I want. I definitely don't want pancakes though...

My child is going to be born with scurvy 😔

Skee · 28/10/2016 22:55

Urgh! Sorry for the super long post!

Also congrats to all of the HaPpY scans recently too! 🎉

Poppydm · 28/10/2016 23:28

Ha ha Skee. I could've written your post. The other week I was ravenous hungry but this week I'm off everything. Well apart from pre-packed pancakes, pot noodles, chips and gravy and Pom bear crisps. The thought of some foods make me feel so queasy. My child will have scurvy too Confused

haveacupoftea · 28/10/2016 23:41

I've been having fried chicken for most of my meals, including breakfast Blush

Carving pumpkins tonight, the smell is making me want to puke
