Had scan. Good and bad news. Good news is there is a pregnancy and it's looking good, heartbeat n everything. Smile
Not so good news is that i have a bleed in the uterus. It could get absorbed by my body, come out and all ok or i could miscarry. Sadthey just don't know and i have to wait now until my 12 week scan.
Trying to be positive but a drivelling wreck after last time .

Anyone else heard of this?

Everything crossed for you Sweetpea & sending positive vibes your way xx

I love to crochet but I'm not very good but I'm better than I am at knitting! I think that blanket is lovely.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 27/10/2016 18:44

Fingers crossed for you sweetpea. I hope everything works out.
panda I had an internal scan at the EPU for the same reasons today. Everything looked okay and they saw a heartbeat, hopefully your news will be the same. They did say that some women get pinkish discharge or light bleeding and have perfectly normal pregnancies.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 27/10/2016 18:45

6+2

I always forget that bit

FlashingLights · 27/10/2016 18:47

So sorry to hear your news bobo Flowers

I hope all works out well sweetpea

I also crochet! I'm not very good though, but I've been practising!

I had my scan today, same doctor. She said it's still measuring as 4-5 weeks Hmm which is what she said last week. But it's grown (from 3.3.3mm to 14mm) and there was a visible yolk sac this time so that feels reassuring to me. Even if they say it doesn't correlate to my bloods & dates. By LMP I am 7+1 but I personally think 5+2 so I am sticking with that! She wants me to come back for a rescan in 2 weeks.

KittyVonCatsington · 27/10/2016 19:11

Masweetpea - did they mention 'subchorionic haematoma'?

I had that at 9 weeks last time. A bleed in the uterus but not near the baby. If so, I was told this is very very common but we don't often know as the blood should get absorbed back into the uterus, we rarely know about it. For me, the squeezing from constipation made me bleed.

There is nothing to be worried about, if so xx

catlady15 · 27/10/2016 19:12

Dizzy I had my flu jab a couple of weeks ago and told the guy i thought i could be pregnant and he said it's fine as it's not live.

I'm telling my boss next week which is earlier than I'd like (I'm 5 + 3), but we're supposed to be doing a long haul flight end of November for a work project and I'm a bit wary about the destination when pregnant! I've been feeling guilty all week as there's only two of us on this project and she's such a nice boss Blush

catlady15 · 27/10/2016 19:21

I love a bit of crochet btw! I've been making baby presents for my friends for years so super excited to make them for my own little bean. Trying not to look into anything too much until after 12 week scan though. So far I have just been searching online and I got a couple of pregnancy books from the library.

Mooseville · 27/10/2016 19:36

wishing you all good Luck ladies.

Just read that my baby now weighs 1.1g. If that is so can someone explain how I've put on half a stone??? GrinConfused

PropagatingaPanda · 27/10/2016 19:43

Thanks six - it's turned thicker and dark brown now and I've a hot water bottle clamped to my back but trying not to worry. Good luck to everyone else having concerns.

NappingRabbit · 27/10/2016 19:48

Good luck Panda and Masweetpea. I had lots of bleeding with DS including a couple of pretty heavy bleeds and it all worked out fine. Fingers crossed for you.

Moose your uterus will have doubled by now so there's extra weight there. Add in some extra blood, extra boob and (if you're anything like me) lots of bloat then it all makes sense.

Bought some new scales today so I'll see what I've put on in the morning.

7+1

Masweetpea1 · 27/10/2016 20:02

kitty, yes they said it was a haematoma. Good to know you came out of it fine, hoping we'll be the same. Nothing but worry these pregnancies. x

Purplefairy21 · 27/10/2016 20:40

So sorry for you bobo Flowers
Hello to the newcomers and wishing you all the best. Hope everyone is doing ok.
After spending the entire weekend worrying that it had all gone terribly wrong because my symptoms basically dissappeared and I was getting cramps I had a scan on Tuesday and everything seemed to be fine. Now I'm back to feeling hungover and bleurgh. I should of made the most of it in other words but it was just so daunting at the time. Cant wait for the second trimester. 8+4 today.

KittyVonCatsington · 27/10/2016 20:58

I'm surprised they said it could result in a miscarriage Masweetpea, you poor poor thing. I was reassured the complete opposite by the EPU Doctor!!!

haveacupoftea · 27/10/2016 22:08

sweetpea make sure and take it easy. lots of rest and no heavy lifting

MundayCakes85 · 27/10/2016 22:13

Really sorry bobo hope you get lots of support irl.
sweet can't believe they said that to you. Hoping that it's just an innocent bleed.
Feeling massively full, like I ate too much pudding (I haven't) DH is back tonight after working away all week. I'' very much looking forward to handing over the parenting baton tomorrow, although I'm on a night shift so I won't get a rest Sad

Kitsandkids · 27/10/2016 23:01

Hello all, I hope it's ok if I join?

I can't believe I'm here. I have been trying to get pregnant for years, and finally got a BFP today after I thought I'd take a test to rule out pregnancy as my period was a full week late. I still can't really believe it!

I'm 4+6 and due, according to online due date calculators, on June 30th.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 28/10/2016 07:29

Welcome kits and congratulations!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 28/10/2016 07:30

Good luck with the scan today panda.

HazyHazyJeans · 28/10/2016 08:03

Good luck with the scan Panda

Hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about Sweetpea

Welcome Kits

The nausea & exhaustion has really kicked in for me now and I've started to go off certain foods. Feeling a bit sorry for myself. But it's nice to have symptoms for reassurance.

How are you doing Skee? Is the nausea still really bad?

Hope everyone else is feeling ok

5+6

babyand · 28/10/2016 08:12

Hazy we are 6 weeks today I'm sure? I have been symptom comparing with you lol

HazyHazyJeans · 28/10/2016 08:34

Lol babyand I'm not sure. Based on my ovulation date (I was temping) ovia says I have a EDD of 23rd June and am 5+6. If I calculate it using the NHS one, my EDD is 21st June because I have shorter than 28 days cycles Hmm I'm assuming using ovulation date is the most accurate way at the moment but maybe not? It's all guesswork anyway. I'm somewhere between 5+6 to 6+1 Grin

Are you feeling sick now too?

babyand · 28/10/2016 08:41

Ovia have my edd at 23rd too and at 6 weeks today too lol! But by ovulation I find myself to be 6+4 today. Only another 6 weeks till I know for sure (seems like forever) I'm feeling ok considering with dd I had crippling nausea 24/7 from 4 weeks to 28ish weeks! This pregnancy is bringing nausea but only in the evenings! I'd happily take that over the way I felt the last time.

haveacupoftea · 28/10/2016 09:07

panda good luck with your scan fx for you

hazy ovia had me at 9w today but my scan matched my ovulation dates perfectly and I am 8+2 (bit annoying to have lost the best part of a week Halloween Confused)
