I will have a large gap between children - I already have dd 15yrs, Ds 13yrs and Ds 10 yrs

Already people think we are insane 😂 My mum is so excited as she thought my 2 nieces 5 &7 yrs would be the last grandchildren

8.5 😳 Time is flying by!!

MumofthreeandBean · 24/10/2016 14:29

skiping. All 4 of my pregnancys started very differently, don't worry! Xx

catlady15 · 24/10/2016 14:57

So tired today, I keep yawning all the time! Tomorrow is my first day back in the office since finding out and I'm a bit nervous about how I'll be. I'm supposed to be doing a presentation in a couple of weeks and I'm thinking of saying I can't do it as I find things like that really stressful anyway!

catlady15 · 24/10/2016 14:58

Oops 5+0 I think

MissisBee · 24/10/2016 15:11

I do pilates regularly but my class has a 2 week break at the minute. I'll speak to the physio who runs it when we start back. She does run an antenatal group but I'd rather stay in my usual one as long as possible. Not so nauseous today but I think I've got the hang of constantly snacking. Finished work early today which was good, I feel like a nap and a walk. Had to refuse the offer of cake in work this morning, hoping I don't raise any suspicions.

I called my surgery to book the 10 week "Booking" appointment only to be told that they have changed it to 8 weeks now! can't get an appointment until 9 weeks so thought that I should mention it in case other surgeries have also changed to eight weeks.

I am freezing cold all the time, I was last time around too but much later, I remember wearing my DH's Christmas Jumper in June.

I will try the seasick bands as constantly nauseous.

7 weeks, EDD 14/06

Mommytobe2017 · 24/10/2016 15:32

I'm so cold. Trying desperately not to put the heating on till later tonight.
I'm glad I've got the week off for half term so I can relax 😆😆

NappingRabbit · 24/10/2016 15:36

Just catching up. Had a difficult weekend as DH was away and DS had a stinking cold, so on top of feeling tired and nauseous I was dealing with rivers of snot and a sleep-refusing toddler.

I have gone from feeling hungry all the time to nauseous and only interested in savoury foods. Mainly marmite on toast and crisps.

I have convinced myself I'm having a boy as all symptoms are exactly the same as last time. I know it doesn't prove anything, but I would definitely guess boy at this point. Will be interesting to find out.

I've got my booking appointment on Saturday morning then scan at the end of the month. And my miscarriage risk is now down to less than 5% having been as high as >30% when I first started looking at this website which is v reassuring spacefem.com/pregnant/mc.php?m=9&d=7&y=16

I am sat wearing a bobble hat and thermal fleece!

How do I add to the spreadsheet?

Skee · 24/10/2016 15:57

Hello all!

Loads to catch up on, but in summary, welcome newcomers and congratulations!! Fantastic scan pic of a little bean there too Star

I felt absolutely horrendous yesterday and couldn't look at my phone. My nausea is making me so miserable. I'm wearing travel bands now, feeling slightly better today but no idea if the bands are helping.

I really hope this doesn't last too long, it's making it difficult to be excited, I just feel so ill Haloween Sad

Archer1257 · 24/10/2016 15:59

Hi everyone,
Hope you're all well. I disappeared for awhile... I got a bit panicked when I saw you were all suffering from symptons and I had none! I thought I had lost the baby. So I poas several times and all is good! Phew! Should have been smug whilst it lasted. A couple of days later and now I'm feeling seriously sorry for myself. Was sick a couple of nights ago. And now just plain knackered. Not much sickness since sat but I'm pretty good at grazing! I think I was only sick on sat because I didn't eat between 2pm-9pm (very unlike me!).
Anyway I have my first midwife appointment on Thursday (8weeks) super excited!

Furry- I tried adding to it (just click on a box as if to write I think) but my phone asked me to download an app. Someone kindly did it for me as my phone has no space for apps!

Skee · 24/10/2016 16:00

Napping I have that same page open and refer to it every day. Watching the numbers fall so drastically from day to day is so reassuring to me Halloween Smile

Just seen the GP (completely pointless appointment, he had no idea why I was seeing him, it was totally because the dumb receptionist though that's what I should do!)
But have booking appointment with midwife for 7+0 - only two weeks away - hurrah!! Grin

oliversmummy26 · 24/10/2016 16:07

PS. thank you to whoever added me to the spreadsheet, I really couldn't figure it out!! Confused

Mommytobe2017 · 24/10/2016 16:09

I've given in to having the heating on...
Sad

I've found a compromise between hot chocolate and hot drinks... Hot squash! No aspartame so I can have it, no caffeine and it tastes like apple tea 😆😆

Feeling warmer already

After waking up feeling great yesterday I am dosed with the cold today! Hope this is not harmful to baby. Feel rotten! Not much else happening symptom wise. Really need to get sorted with a non wired bra.

8+3

MumofthreeandBean · 24/10/2016 16:25

tea I have been looking at bras - can't decide whether to get a maternity/nursing bra - so it's still useful once baby is here, I don't want to waste money on non wired bras that I will have to replace every time my boobs inflate some more!

That's a question - who will breastfeed?? I fed my other 3 so I will try with this one too, I know it's not always possibble, I do intend to express too and get bubba onto bottle pretty early so dh can help, Ds2 was a complete nightmare and would only take from breast, I couldn't get him off it til 2 yrs old!! I learnt from that!! 😂

8.5

MumofthreeandBean · 24/10/2016 16:27

mommy sorry but hot squash!? No Thankyou! I really dislike it, reminds me of vomit 😑

haveacupoftea · 24/10/2016 16:32

I am going to just take whatever bra I can get...was a 38HH before getting pregnant so god knows what cup size I am now! Probably a K!

I will breastfeed if I can. Best for baby and saves time faffing around with bottles for some of the time at least (ie. Middle of the night) so people tell me anyway

Purplefairy21 · 24/10/2016 16:42

mummytobe I am wrapped up under a fluffy blanket Halloween Grin I am also struggling with been cold. Making the most of ds been at nursery.
mumofthreeandbean I tried getting a nursing bra in the size that I'd been the majority of pregnancy it didn't fit 3 days later and was quite painful tbh. I went from 34E maternity bra to 32HH nursing bras Halloween Blush
I do need to go and get new maternity bras but sort of feel like if I go out and buy anything then I'm jinxing it. So I'm stuck in scruffy joggers as my jeans are far too tight and uncomfortable. Second, third or more timers , is anyone starting to notice a slight bump starting?
8+1 here.

Mommytobe2017 · 24/10/2016 16:45

Oh sorry mumofthreeandbean didn't want to make you feel more sick Smile

I am very strange when it comes to drinks. I don't like tea and coffee so the only hot drink for me is hot chocolate or squash. Hot lemon squash is very good when I have a cold...

I live on squash as I don't like fizzy drinks. I know, weird! DP never fails to remind me 😆

Creatureofthenight · 24/10/2016 16:48

I love hot squash!
I'm also under a blanket, my feet have been cold all day.

babyand · 24/10/2016 16:54

I'm with ye on the coldness. Seriously fighting the urge to book an early scan. I don't know when I will have mine yet but I turn 12 weeks on the day of a family wedding and I'm pretty sure my scan will be the week after that. I would love to have told my family before the wedding to avoid people noticing at the wedding and the news of the day being my pregnancy. If I was the bride and that happened I would be very upset

Masweetpea1 · 24/10/2016 16:57

tea I was a 32j last time and went up to 38j as my monster was breech. I'm now a34j, my ribs never went back to a 32!! Sad i saw a photo the other day of me at 8 months pregnant with a non wired bra, oh Good God, the embarrassment. They were practically on the floor but also splayed across my bump. What a sight!! Blush

purpke i have a bump 8+1, my boss laughed today when i said i was hoping to keep it quiet until aftwr Christmas!! I'm in maternity jeans and big baggy tops!!
