Managed to stop myself from being sick on the sales floor at work today, deep breaths and carry on. lol no actual sickness for me yet just yucky feeling sometimes.

Lovely hubby went out to get me a milkshake from McDs tonight. Not a craving or anything but helped soothe my horribly sore throat! What a lucky girl I am Wink

MissisBee · 21/10/2016 22:49

Nausea is beginning to start for me at 5+4. Have completely gone off tomatoes. Even the thought of them makes me feel bleugh. Have also become obsessed with cheese. Got up at 5am to eat a bit this morning. I then spent all morning dreaming about the cheese panini I was going to have for lunch but when I picked it up, they'd put tomatoes in it!! I could have cried!! Managed to pick then out and eat it but it was quite disappointing.
Definitely preferring savoury food at the minute which is weird for me.

Mooseville · 22/10/2016 07:38

Well you're here now lilmoo This thread is a great support group and we'll all be here to help you all the way! Like the other posters have commented, already their pregnancies are different so fingers crossed this one will be smoother for you.

peace that lazy comment made me laugh!!!

KittyVonCatsington · 22/10/2016 08:05

Oh jeez Lilmoo -you had HG?! Oh I'm so sorry-now wonder you are nervous! We'll help you day by day (and hopefully you get to dodge it this time!)

PurpleHaze1 · 22/10/2016 08:18

Hi Lilmoo really hope the HG stays away for you this time. How old is your little one?

I did my last test today. It was a digi that I'd been saving. It said 3+ which is exactly right as I'm 5 weeks today. Must refrain from doing anymore tests! Hmm

Skee · 22/10/2016 08:23

Feeling so nauseous and sorry for myself 😢

Hello newbies 🤗

Meant to be going for a road cycle today, not sure how I'm going to manage...

Having a freak out this morning, I had a few days of feeling sick last week but this morning I don't feel pregnant. I don't have any symptoms except sore boobs and I have a cold! I don't remember being this neurotic last time!

MumofthreeandBean · 22/10/2016 09:19

I was nauseous from conception! Last 3 days I've been ok... hoping that's the end of it for me but who knows!
Woke up with a headache today, and shattered, off to work in a bit, thinking it's going to be a long day.

5 weeks today. Took my last CB digi which shows '3+' - sent a photo to my DH who replied "triplets?!!!"

MissisBee · 22/10/2016 09:43

lama Grin

When I told DH, I suggested to possibility of twins. He looked like he might faint!

MoonlightMojitos · 22/10/2016 09:50

Welcome lilmo hope you have a better time of this pregnancy.

missis I'm off sweet foods too, craving crisps and toast and stuff. I usually eat cakes and chocolate etc almost every day and have such a sweet tooth!

skee I'm the same, feel so sorry for myself. I didn't think I'd feel this bad but I can't wait for the nausea to be over already. Good luck with the cycle, you never know it might make you feel better :). Bit of fresh air and all that! Fair play to you, I plan on staying in bed most the day haha.

mummy2squish honestly don't worry, I really panicked last week when my nausea went but it's back now and it's normal for it to vary depending on a lot of things. Also, if you have a cold that's probably masking other things! I had a cold for first 2 weeks, took ages to shift so fx for you it's not too bad.

lama bless him haha!

Hope everyone is ok this morning.

Urgh I really need to spend the whole day cleaning this house. I havent had the energy to do any housework for weeks and the state of the place is really getting me down Sad

Just need to summon the will to get out of bed...

Mommytobe2017 · 22/10/2016 10:30

I'm starting to wonder if I'm further along than I first thought. No nausea or sickness so far and my energy levels seem back to normal... I missed my period that's when ai got BFP but DP reminded me that I was light last time. So if that's right I'm about 10+4 instead of 6+4...

Hmm I've got my MW appt 2 weeks on Tues anyway. Maybe they'll send me for early scan if I explain that?

Mommytobe2017 · 22/10/2016 10:42

Although I took one of the digital tests last week which said 2-3 weeks. Maybe I'm just doing well so far?

MoonlightMojitos · 22/10/2016 10:50

mommy you're probably just lucky! I don't think you definitely get 2-3 on digital at 9+ weeks. I read it's about 80% of woman who get nausea so hopefully you're just in the 20%! My tiredness has gone already too. I really struggled first few weeks but last week I've been back to normal, was up til gone midnight last night!

PurpleHaze1 · 22/10/2016 10:55

mommy I think given you got a 2-3 on a digi you're probably right at 6+4. Some people just don't get nauseous. One of my friends didn't even know she was pregnant until 8 weeks as she felt absolutely fine!

JunebabyT · 22/10/2016 11:52

Hi all, just found the second thread! I'm 8 + 2 now, booking in appointment still a couple of weeks away. Getting impatient for the scan so we can tell people! Still managing to avoid too much sickness and don't feel too bad all round, still just tired with sore boobs, not much else.

Mommytobe2017 · 22/10/2016 11:54

Ok thanks I just need to relax about it, I think. Mom didn't get sick with any of her 3 pregnancies so perhapa that's why?

VeganMama83 · 22/10/2016 13:03

I didn't feel this sick in my two previous pregnancies tbh. Each one can be so different.

We have chosen a name (it's unisex) so at least that's sorted! We flipped a coin as to whether we should be team yellow or find out this time (DH wanted to find out but I didn't) and we are going to try to stay team yellow!

Early scan Friday so I've got something to focus on. Praying everything is ok!

Feeling sick again today. The travel bracelet seemed to work quite well so it's worth a try if you're thinking of it. I think today i had it in the wrong place so have felt quite sick all day.

Housework done. Gagging for a bowl of chips topped with curry supernoodles now

Monkeyandthebear · 22/10/2016 16:46

I am exhausted today! I have napped twice and totally knackered. Surely this is just in my head as only found out yesterday? Is this what it is going to be like for weeks? I am only 4+3

MumofthreeandBean · 22/10/2016 16:49

tea I havnt had super noodles for years!! I love the bacon ones.

Feeling sick since lunch - typical when only this morning I was pleased at how well I've been feeling.
2/3 children are away tonight - it is so quiet in my house! In a few months it won't be!! 😂
All my family know now except the dad's- both sets of parents divorced so don't see the dad's very often, will tell them next time we speak on the phone. Relieved family knows, can enjoy it now

I've bought some ginger root capsules from Holland and Barrett as they were recommended to me to help with nausea, I definitely feel much less nauseous since taking one than I have done for the last few days! May be worth a try for those of you that are struggling.
