Meant to say, saw the physio yesterday who basically said I'm now stuck in the vicious cycle of my hips being really stiff, so movement is really painful, so I have to limit movement, which means they get more stiff, so more painful....
On the plus side she has made me an appointment for hydrotherapy next week so they can put me in warm water and get me moving in ways that I just can't manage anymore to get some relief .
And for once it wasn't the spd pain that woke me up at 4am, it was the baby digging her foot under my ribs!! Thanks for that!!

So as you know i had my heart monitor on for 24hrs, 5 mins after i took it off this morning i vomited and heart rate as been really high since. Ive tried going back to bed but ive been on the loo constantly, suffering from heartburn nd keep going to be sick. Typically yesterday i felt not too bad apart from a few chest pains which i hadnt had since i was in hospital.

So ready for baby to come. This pregnancy is taking a lot out of me and ive little r no energy to do anything at the moment..

Oh no nojo, do you think it's a bug or pregnancy sickness? I hope it eases soon.

Nojo82, oh no that doesn't sound right, have you rung the midwives to see what to do, sounds like you and baby need to get a quick check up just in case

Thanks. Ive checked my blood pressure and its perfect. Baby seems quite happy, ive just been putting it down to typical pregnancy. Don't think its a bug, it all came on really quickly.

Nojo I don't want to worry you unnecessarily but do you think that you should be checked out? D&v with high heart rate (and chest pains yesterday) sounds a bit worrying.

orianna i was in hospital for a week in sept with the above symptoms and they didnt seem overly concerned. Well thats how they made me feel. Ive had to go for various tests inc heart scan and heart monitor yesterday. Any appointment since they havent even bothered to ask and when i mention it they ignore me. Well ive actually just changed hospitals so im hoping they are a bit more supportive but so far ive only had a booking in appointment. Ive yet to see the consultant..

Nojo poor you! really don't want to worry you, especially as it's so easy to worry about everything and nothing in pregnancy (I'm certainly like that) but do be careful and look after yourself and be sure that it's not preeclampsia, vomiting is one symptom of that. Don't want to stress you out, just, don't let the hospital put you off being checked out if you feel the need to.

Barking poor you, sounds terrible. Hope you get better soon and that time till bubba is here goes quickly!

Thanks london but my bp is ok. Surely it cant be pre eclampsia. My hosp is 40 mins drive away but midwife team is in my gp surgery tomorrow so ill see if i can get an appointment.

Nojo not to worry you but your Bp can be fine and still have pre eclampsia. Please call the ward and checked out

Good luck nojo. A stomach upset was my only real symptom of hellp syndrome, it is possible to not have elevated blood pressure but v unusual.

I've had period type pains for a day and a half now and now have a dull ache in my lower back too. Sometimes the pain gets a bit more "gripey" but doesn't seem to be any rhyme or routine in terms of timings for these gripes. Could this be the baby moving lower or does this sound like the start of things? I'm 35 weeks and am hoping she stays put for another couple of weeks really!

Happydays I've had period type pains on and off the past couple of weeks. I think it's just things stretching and getting ready, but doesn't necessarily mean anything is imminent.

Possibly TMI but after I did perineal massage yesterday morning I made myself bleed quite heavily afterwards (no idea what I did to cause it). I'm still spotting a bit now. I did make a really awkward call to let the midwife know and she offered to see me today just to check everything is okay, and I said it was a bit awkward because I've got DD with me today, so she's agreed to check it on Tuesday when DD is at nursery, but said to go to triage if the bleeding gets worse in the meanwhile. There really is no dignity in pregnancy is there?

Hi so i didnt end up going in as i started to a lot better as te evening went on. Prob wrong thing to do but honestly dont feel too bad at all..

Just had my 34w appointment and he's suspected breech Got a consultant appoitnment to check again in 10days.

Which means I'm not being seen for another 4 weeks by my midwife at 38w, which doesn't sound right to me. I was seen weekly last time from 36w.

Don't worry stubble, he may yet turn! My DB was breech, was turned manually at 37 weeks, flipped back again, then turned himself the right way round just before he was born.

I had a MW appt at 32 weeks and they don't seem to want to see me again until 38?
