Oh bigfam what a time you're having, I hope your bp comes down soon..

I have gained 2.5 stone since my first MW appointment :( I'm only 32 weeks and apparently this is the maximum you're supposed to put on in the whole pregnancy.
I must admit I'm eating more sugary stuff to keep my energy up during long days at work.
Maybe time to go on ML soon.
Anyone else has worrying weight gain?

Try not to worry about weight gain bumble it varies a lot from person to person. Thanks, I know it's not high at the moment so just keeping that in mind.

I was told not to worry about weight gain. With my daughter I put on 4stone . I did have a lot of water and this time round I have put on 1 pound.

BigFam how are your little ones doing now? They were ill weren't they?

I'm not worrying about weight gain either, you'll be surprised how little time you have to eat when there's a new born around!!
I'm really pleased my fantastic friend came over today and helped me to pack my hospital bag, half is my bits and the other half is bubbles bits, there was a few bits I didn't have, which I picked up from boots earlier, so glad it's done now!!

I don't know how you do it bigfam I'm beginning to struggle with one healthy toddler!

Think I put on about 3 plus stone last time around, just lost it but then managed to get pregnant, yay! Think it's about the same this time around but can't be arsed to check, it'll come off again in the end!

Lovewatchingrainfall Dd3 is still poorly, but has only been on the antibiotics a couple of days so expect her to start improving by tomorrow hopefully, luckily ds' abscess isn't causing him too much discomfort and hoping it stays that way til mondays appointment.
I've still got to wash all of the baby's clothes and pack her hospital bag, think mine's all done.

bigfam, If you get a chance try and get your blood pressure checked in a week instead of two. That is exactly what happened with me, my normally low blood pressure went up to normal and two weeks was too long to wait to have it checked again. Of course what happened to me is very very rare, but still worth keeping an eye on.

I've been discharged from hospital care so I'm now able to room in with DD in the neo natal unit! It's nice to be spending the night with her.

Thanks for the advice soloman. I'll see if the midwife can fit me in next friday, if not I'll just make a doctor appointment.

I'm wide awake worrying about DSD aged 9.
We glossed the nursery today and the fumes left me with a massive headache. Her bedroom is next door where she's currently fast asleep.
We've got her window and the window to the nursery wide open but I'm worried she's sleeping breathing all that nastiness in
Just debating whether to go and wake her up and tel her to come and sleep in our room (2 rooms away) Am I being neurotic!?

She's finally gone to sleep. Fingers crossed she stays asleep for a couple of hours at least...

bumble she should be OK with the windows open, but if it's keeping you awake then definitely go & move her to your room.

I'll wait for DH to get up and go to check on her, she'd be freaked if I did as I never really do. Just worried because DH has to work tomorrow so don't want to wake the whole house up because of neurosis!

bigfam most big pharmacies - Boots etc - and GP surgeries have BP monitors that you can use to check your BP yourself, no appt necessary obvs and might be a good idea to keep an eye on it if you can?

My back started hurting yesterday - continuous not contractions or anything! - so glad I have a massage booked next week, my first one since I was pregnant with DS over 2 years ago now!

Oh dartmoor I had one a few days ago, it was sheer bliss and I felt so much better after it- enjoy!

Oh i really want a massage now.. back and legs are killing me..

It's the cramp killing me, 4 times in the space of 3 hours last night in my calf

Bumbleclat I've put on over two and a half stone now (35 weeks), and suspect it will be nearer 3 stone by the time I'm done. It was the same last pregnancy. I did have to go on weight watchers 6 months post-baby to shift some of it last time, but I did lose about half of it just through giving birth / general lack of time in the intervening months. Like you I'm craving sweet things all the time and I'm just going to try and relax and enjoy it, and worry about the weight gain next year.

Got my 36 week appointment and midwifery unit tour tomorrow. I need to remember to ask all the questions I've been wondering!

nojo yes I'm having the same thing, are you able to bend your foot up towards your knee that helps me stop it in its tracks a lot.

I'm really looking forward to it, think the lady is a bit woo but her massages are meant to be fab, the one I had when pregnant with DS was rubbish, basically stroking me! I want my knots gone!

Also been thinking about queen hoping she's ok.

Totally dreading the clock changes. My DD ATM seems to think 4:30 is a very good wake up as well as waking in the night. So not looking forward to a 3:30 instead. Especially as we live in a flat and downstairs like to moan about the little things. So might end up backing a cake tomorrow morning instead
