lullaby I have PM'd you for the fb group as well if that's ok

AnneLovesGilbert · 29/09/2016 10:46

Moo, I got one from Primark and it's brilliant. I'm usually a 10 and 34 DD, but they've grown massively and are sore all the time. I got a medium and it's super comfy and supportive. I'm sleeping in it and sad to take it off in the morning! I got something similar in Tk maxi but it's got thin straps which dig in a bit.

People also recommended Calvin Klein and amazon.

Badgerbird · 29/09/2016 10:53

Ofcourse you can moan Tea! Especially on here! Everyone's situation is different, can't be helped and it's not your fault but IKWYM. fox not even keeping down water sounds really rough. Sorry if I missed the post but have you spoken to midwife/dr?

I just realised yesterday that I'm not supposed to be paying for my prescriptions. Doh! I've been put on progesterone and aspirin this pregnancy but have been paying. Guess I need to apply for exemption. Would have thought dr might have done that for me but I guess not Hmm

Badgerbird · 29/09/2016 10:58

Oops crossed post fox, I see you're on meds, oh blimey and you're still this sick :(

Hi Smoke! Congratulations and I hope you're early scan puts your mind at rest :)

LyssieRogue · 29/09/2016 10:58

Hello ladies!!! Mind if I join?
EDD: 5/23/2017 (:

AnneLovesGilbert · 29/09/2016 11:03

Welcome LyssieRogue, congrats on your BFP! Is it your first?

LyssieRogue · 29/09/2016 11:10

Thanks Anne!! Yes my very first! And a surprise, too! (: nice to meet you!

AnneLovesGilbert · 29/09/2016 11:12

And you! This is my first as well but I have DSC so I'm banking on DH knowing what to do! ;)

Hope you're feeling well. Have you contacted your midwife? I self referred through my GP's website, got my first appointment next week!

LyssieRogue · 29/09/2016 11:18

That sounds like it would be very helpful! Always good having someone who knows what's going on! Not the case for me and my DH, lol, wet behind the ears.
I have contacted the midwife! My first scan is on this coming Monday! Should be 7 weeks on by then (:

JulyLady7 · 29/09/2016 11:25

Welcome LyssieRouge!

So exciting to be having a scan on Monday! I'll be 7 weeks by then too! :)

I've got exactly 6 weeks until my first scan. For the life of me, I don't know how I'm going to wait that long, but it's good for my patience (which is not that great). Lol.

I'm excited for my booking appointment too Anne, I'll wait to see how yours goes, they don't do them in my area before 10 weeks, so I've finally got my date through for 23rd October Hmm. More waiting! Lol.

AnneLovesGilbert · 29/09/2016 11:33

Is your scan private or NHS Lyssie? I'd love to have a look and see what's going in there but we've just moved house and we're struggling to justify the cost of a private one.

It's on Weds July and I shall report back! We've both taken the day off work as they say it lasts at least 2 hours. So we'll do the appointment then have a nice quiet day.

That does seem a while away. Did you say you've booked your scan in for after or do you have to wait?

I have to take a urine sample to the booking in, what on earth do I pee in? Or do I ask for a cup there and do it before I go in?

Ghostonthedancefloor · 29/09/2016 11:36

Gin amazing scan pic! It's made me more excited for mine on Monday as I'll be pretty much the same as you! (9+2)

Hi everyone, have had a hectic few days at work and home so haven't posted on the new thread till now. Have updated stats and added peasy as she said she was having trouble. Joined a FB group for the Nov14 thread and it was brill so might PM you too lullaby if that's ok, sorry to torture you!

Hello to everyone new and commiserations to everyone suffering. Some lovely scan pics appearing! I'm 10 weeks today, have 12 week scan on Monday 10th October and am not telling anyone till afterwards. I'm quite enjoying the secrecy! Not sure when I'll tell DD1. She's 4.5 and will probably realise quite soon anyway, she's obsessed with babies! My symptoms fluctuate, but have felt ok last couple of days (was getting a lot of nausea at bedtime previously), so I'm hoping the placenta kicking in theory is correct.

Re the sleep bra MissMoo, I recommended these on the last thread, they are brill: www.amazon.co.uk/Emma-Jane-maternity-sleep-342/dp/B008YE1QLG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1475156076&sr=8-2&keywords=emma+jane+bra
Wear mine when not pregnant, they're soooo comfy!

Sorry for epicness of post, better get back to work!

Streaky17 · 29/09/2016 14:49

Ha ha Anne your post made me laugh my pack when I registered with the midwife the pack included a pot but no instruction to piss in it. Obviously I'll do it but not sure what to suggest unless you are passing your gps surgery between now and then.

AnneLovesGilbert · 29/09/2016 15:00

I am streaky, you've reminded! I have a nurse appointment for something else Monday so might ask her for a small stash for future midwife appointments. I wee about twice an hour these days so can do it pretty well on demand thankfully.

Count yourself lucky you got a pot though, well flash! Grin

ginandcake · 29/09/2016 15:05

Thanks ghost, was so nice to see it and know that everything was ok. Also makes it seem more real.

Now I've had the scan I'm going to tell work which I'm dreading. Only started there in February so feel a little but cheeky but I've never made it a secret that I wanted a third. A colleague bought his new baby in yesterday and two people said to me that I wasn't to get broody as they didn't want me going off on maternity leave! Didn't know what to say!

mrspage1985 · 29/09/2016 15:35

Hi all, lots of updates here today!
I'm starting to get a bit worried that I don't really feel pregnant. I have the odd and occasional bit of slight nausea but nothing major and not noticeable if I'm not thinking about it.

I sometimes have a slight dull ache in my stomach and am tired but that is literally it. Am worried that it's miscarriages again and I just don't know
Wish there was some way of hcg testing at home :-(

PeachIcedT · 29/09/2016 15:54

Mrspage I am very much the same - really very questionable nausea if any, certainly not off my food. Slight twinge now and then but sometimes I'm running round and completely forget that I am pregnant. I know not everyone has the same symptoms but there's always that nagging what if feeling that is difficult to shake. Difficult time but hoping all is ok for all of us Smile

JulyLady7 · 29/09/2016 16:10

@peachedicet and @mrspage1985, I feel the same today! I only have nausea in the evenings and even then it's not every evening. I'm peeing lots, but it's variable and I just feel like I need assurance that there is actually a baby growing in there! When I have a twinge I'm worried, when I don't feel a twinge I'm worried.
These 12 weeks aren't easy at all! But here's hoping it's all ok for us all!

JulyLady7 · 29/09/2016 16:12

AnneLovesGilbert yeah, they sent me a letter to tell me my scan will be on November 10th, so at least that's booked! I'm thankful that I've not been to EPU yet, but at least you get assurance with a scan.
I'm happy to wait for the 12 week really, it just doesn't help my anxiety. Lol.

jennymac31 · 29/09/2016 16:27

Afternoon ladies

I'm still having issues c+p my due date details so if someone could add me to the list that would be great. Baby no 2 EDD is 20th may 17.

AnneLovesGilbert · 29/09/2016 16:32

PowerofThree · 29/09/2016 17:17

Hi all, I have been umming and ahing about joining in as I am a bit wary of getting too excited early on but here goes...

First pregnancy. Due date be last period would be 15th May but when I had an EPU scan last week they said I was probably 5 weeks something not 6. Saw a heartbeat which was cool but has made me more anxious I think!

Scan was due to pains which turned out to be a nice ovarian cyst... Haven't had many symptoms and those that I have had are starting to get better - don't need a bra to sleep in anymore where I did last week and after barely eating anything at the weekend my appetite is back. So just a bit tired and headachy. Which just makes me more worried as to why I'm feeling better. (I do worry a lot!). Don't really know what to expect or what to do when as I don't have any close friends or family with kids. Have got a GPs appointment tomorrow which hopefully will provide some reassurance (run here they book you in for everything apparently).

Just realised that became quite an essay - congratulation to you all!
