Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

Sorry for double post! Trying to upload that pic! xx

Dontstepinthecowpat · 04/10/2016 09:33

cupoftea how exciting that you have booking in appointments through!

moonlight we decided to keep quiet as our other 3 DC are all under 9 and we would like them to be the first to know, I think anything more than 20 weeks would seem like an eternity for them. Also unfortunately our last three babies have come along at the same time as high family stress (deaths and illness!) all coincidental I'm sure but we are enjoying the secret and it's something just for us to enjoy for now.

Kat how exciting, I hope you can concentrate on the wedding - my head is all over the place this week. I am so shocked although planned it just seems surreal.

It's freezing here today, will have to look out some baggy jumpers for the next few months!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 04/10/2016 09:33

I remember last time (DS) I had no symptoms until around 6-7 weeks. Even my sore boobs tapered off and I was a wreck thinking it was all over. But then I was sick every day until I gave birth (and once in labour, for good measure), so my lesson is: be careful what you wish for Grin

Purplefairy21 · 04/10/2016 09:40

Wow it's getting busy on here. Congratulations to all the new poster's.
At the gp tomorrow so shall get the ball rolling with mw etc. Im still worried about not really having many symptoms but I did burst into tears last night because someone stole my crisps Envy not that I feel stupid
mooseville I'm 5+2 with sore boobs, tiredness and my appetite going from absolutely starving to non-existent and back again. Nothing to really convince me.

Goingmadttc · 04/10/2016 10:03

Katniss and Junebaby how exciting you have weddings to look forward to as well! I have ended up caving on the tests and although I wasn't going to do one all holiday in case it was a rubbish line and ruined the holiday I did one this morning (am 5 weeks today) and is the best one yet, finally as dark as the control line and came up before the control line. Yay! Feel like it might actually be happening now but still obviously on knicker watch as so terrified of it going wrong!

Goingmadttc · 04/10/2016 10:05

Purplefairy just saw your post and don't worry I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever apart from having lost my appetite a bit.

IWantedToBeAnAstronaut · 04/10/2016 10:53

Wow, lots of new people - big congratulations!

Does anyone else get "twinges" in there womb area? I can feel it when I ovulate & I'm am 4+3 today and have been having lots of twinges / cramps in what feels like a similar area. Does anyone else have cramping? This is my first so nothing to compare it too Confused

I have loads of other symptoms e.g. tiredness/ nausea/ peeing loads etc so reassured, but I wasn't expecting the cramping...

Sorry for triple post - phone is playing up Angry

NappingRabbit · 04/10/2016 11:30

Enjoy being symptom free while you can! Last time around I worried that I felt totally fine. A week later the nausea and exhaustion hit and I wondered why the hell I ever wished for it.

I'm only 3+6 but have death mouth and v slight nausea. I'm sure it will get much worse before it gets better.

NappingRabbit · 04/10/2016 11:30

Yes astronaut, I've had some cramping on and off and had the same with DS - totally normal.

userabcname · 04/10/2016 11:45

Yes astronaut - I had some twinges and cramps last week. Nothing too bad but definitely there!

Sorry! Obviously didn't mean to send that so many times

LollyCake · 04/10/2016 12:08

Yup, the cramping is normal. I remember being worried last time and googling like mad.

I was sick for the first time today Envy I was sick until around week 15 last time so I'm not happy. I constantly feel sick too, food only helps for a little bit.

I've just put my DS down for a nap and I'm going to join him!

sleepylil · 04/10/2016 13:53

Yep, cramping, twinges, stabby pains, feeling like you're about to come on all normal symptoms. I had quite bad pain last week but has eased off a bit now, just sore boobs and too much cake bloating Wink

Goingmadttc · 04/10/2016 14:54

When is everyone having their first midwife/GP appointment? I just called up and they gave me a date where I will be almost 11 weeks which seems v late!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 04/10/2016 15:16

I'm going to see the GP next week to sort out blood tests for my thyroid and start monitoring my other meds more closely.
It's usual not to see the midwife until around 8 weeks or later. As long as you have your scan around 12 weeks it's no problem.

MundayCakes85 · 04/10/2016 15:16

Got my booking in appt for 1st November, will be almost 9 weeks then. I remember it just being lots of admin questions, mixed in with "...does your partner hit you?" type ones Hmm

IWantedToBeAnAstronaut · 04/10/2016 15:26

Thank you everyone - that really helpful, I shall try & stop over examining everythingHmm

I've not heard from the MW yet - I booked in on Friday so hopefully soon. I want this first few weeks to hurry up, but I think I'm gonna have to learn some patience - 9 months is a loooong time Smile

Goingmadttc · 04/10/2016 15:26

Ah ok, thanks Peace and Munday. I might rig back later and try to speak to another receptionist as wild rather be seen at 9 weeks than 11 as it is a long time to wait! especially as they wont book you in for your scan until they have seen you so I doubt they will be able to book me in for a 12 week scan when I'm only seeing them at 11 weeks!

VeganMama83 · 04/10/2016 16:09

Here booking in is about 8-9 weeks then the balling is rolling for the scan to be booked too!

Anyone up for a secret fb group at some point? We had one with my other due groups and it was easier to follow posts and nice to put a face to a name eventually xx
